The service of the old women who are at the counter is ridiculous and they treat you badly, they should better dedicate themselves to something else if they don't like what they do.

Great products, order if they don't stock a item, get in a day, good pep's work there. And a few peps will go out of there way to make you happy. that's hard to find. Love Oakland yard. high st and freeway bam bam.

I had to get some siding and some pressure treated lumber so I went to the nearest place that would have that for me. There was a small wait and you have to grab a number. I was helped by a very professional and friendly lady with my siding issue. My house was built in 1925 and the last time I went searching for my siding a long time ago at another place the guy their told me they don't make that and I ended up buying pine boards?

And those were a bit different? But this lady at Economy Lumber told me that they have cedar which is better than pine, also she knew the size and the type of siding. And she was on point! I was happy. So, at this place they have loaders that load your lumber and they direct you to the right spot of the lot, which I thought was cool because that beats all the walking around you do at those big box shops.

The loader was also very professional and friendly. I was greatful for the help and ease of the total experience. And will recommend Economy Lumber for lumber needs. Thanks for assisting an old man in a very polite and professional manner. Thanks!

Very poor yard service! Won't allow wood workers to choose their wood to work with. Truitt and White does, The Home Depot does., etc. general company attitude is below average. Too bad, ,, used to be a great yard with great management that really worked with their clients/contractors Oh well.

This is a great huge lumber yard complete with all your hardware needs. The staff is friendly and they will help you find what you're looking for. They may be busy but they will make time for you.

It was a good time to visit Econ Lumber. Very few patrons. I was looking for tongue and groove redwood planks. Lumber supplies in the U.S. are facing a shortage as a result of the pandemic. I had to go with pine wood for my project. Although there was only 3 customers in the store, it took nearly 45 min to get a small amount of materials.

I had being buying construction materials at Economy Lumber for years at the two Oakland locations, they have a a big selection of construction materials, the stuff offers good customer service. I definitely recommend Economy Lumber.

This company should be ashamed, O the drivers almost hit me and my child. I will never recommend your company to anyone. I work construction and I will make sure that none of my clients ever use your lumber service. There is no couth with this company nor professionalism nor customer service. Reporting to the better business bureau as well as any construction workers businesses or clientele. Do not support this type of class less business! Called Brian the Manager, he can't make the time.

Unreliable service. Called this company twice for window parts. They said to send an email requesting the parts. They do not respond to the email. Then you call them back five days later, and they say they had not read the email and do not know how long it would take to acquire the parts. No wonder why chains will swallow up independent suppliers.

I put in two email inquiries for a quote for a pallet of insulation, never got a reply. Went in person, and they were pretty unfriendly. I really don't want to use home depot, and you really can't do worse than home depot when it comes to customer service, but economy lumber seemed to push this low standard; they seemed to not even care. We've gotten pretty good quality lumber from them in the past, way better quality than the chain stores. Maybe I'll try them again in a year or so.
