Looked promising but was told I couldn't buy the size of rock I needed cause it wasn't on an open pallet. The rocks I needed were on the very top and could of easily been taken off without cutting the wire. The open pallet I could only buy from contained sizes I didn't want. Shame they lost out on that sale. Took my business elsewhere.

Been coming here for years. Selection is always good, decent prices, no BS from the staff, quick load outs and the guys running the loader mindful of your trucks / trailer beds. Traffic out front can get backed up a bit, but only if you are early. Keep your windows up, they have a great lot layout for vehicle traffic, but windy days can be dusty;

I have used this business several times because it is so close to where isI live however the last year the quality of service and the attitude has really deteriorated. Several months ago they put a pallet in the back of my truck and completely destroyed my bed liner and then just recently when I was dealing with the person that was giving me rock he was cussing at all upset because I asked him if I could use my previous bag that I purchased there it's just not a place I want to go again. And in addition to that it's very difficult to get a vehicle through the property because it's so crowded

I used to really like this place but the quality of cushion sand and flagstone have gone down significantly. For almost 2 years now (before covid), the cushion sand is often full of rocks and clumps of other dirt making it less than suitable for grading. It was acceptable when it was cheap but with the price increase, they should really get better sand available at local sandpits.
Since the pandemic, the flagstone quality has gotten worse and worse. I assume it's because of increased demand and lack of supply. For example, the 1.5" flagstone pallets are full of crumbs and unusable stone in the middle. It's expected in this indust but lately it's been way too much. For example, last week, I bought 2 full pallets weighing approx ~6800lbs and almost 2000lbs were trash.
This is the dump weight registered at the dump when dumping all the leftover stone, which is the trash. We ran out and had to get "slabs" to break down into useable sizes to match and finish the project.

Really love this place. If you're a contractor I'm sure you know already. They also sell to random DIY guys like me. They are helpful and treat you with value (instead of acting like they are too busy with regulars). The product is excellent and a very good value. Any landscape could use a couple of small or large boulders for sure.

We have been working with Contractors Stone as our main vendor since 2006, David was extremely friendly and helpful in assisting us with ordering the right stone and it arriving on time. From personal experience I can tell you they are very competitive on prices and their delivery fee is beyond fair. I trust CSS and will continue to use them for years to come.
