NOTE: The colors shown on these charts are represented as close as possible on the computer and are only to be used as a guide for color selection. Upon installation, variations can be expected due to differences in cement, aggregates, and method of application. In order to assist our clients in selecting the right colors, our installers will prepare samples on the concrete where appropriate.
Acid Staining is a coloring process involving a chemical reaction between acid stain and concrete. Acid stain is a solution of water, acid, and inorganic salts that react with the minerals in the concrete giving a distinctive, permanent color with a subtly shaded marbled effect, similar to natural stone.
Decorative concrete stamping (also known as patterned concrete) is a process of impressing a three-dimensional pattern into new concrete or an overlay (resurfacing) product using specially designed rubber stamping tools. Stamped concrete provides a surface that resembles conventional floor textiles, such as natural stone, slate, granite, etc., but with the strength, durability, and easy of maintenance of concrete.

I don't normally take the time to write reviews although I should because I always look for reviews before using a company. I really wanted to leave one for this company because I had a great experience and would recommend them to my friends and family. I needed my driveway stained but the bad part was I had existing epoxy on the driveway that had been flaking away. (a job my husband tried to do) We have stamped concrete in the backyard and it connects to our driveway so finding someone that could get the existing stain off, find a color that would blend with the backyard, and someone who was reasonably priced was the tough part.
I called many companies over the course of two weeks and even filled out my information on a lot of their websites. I was shocked at a couple things. It was hard to get anyone to call me back, even the ones that I spoke to and left my information with and it was hard to get anyone to come out to physically see my driveway. Everyone wanted to ask for my measurements and give me a price on the phone.
Then I called Designer Concrete and Mark offered to come out within a day and take a look. Once he came out he realized that the existing stain didn't need to be "hand scraped" off (which everyone was quoting alot for the scraping and removal). He said they could power wash it. Next, the project started and Mark's communication skills were great. He always called me to tell me what to expect next and showed up every day to monitor the job.
What impressed me the most was he offered to fill in some cracks we had, remove rotted wood from the expansion joints and sealed up around areas that needed to be fixed. (and didn't charge me much to do it either). My husband and I are very pleased with his work and we are about to hire him now to seal our deck that has the stamped concrete! I would recommend them to anyone looking for someone who is punctual, reliable and who will produce a great outcome for your project.

This is a horrible company. This company did not supervise the application of color to the concrete they were applying in my back yard. We chose two tan colors and received a solid gray color because the color was not applied correctly according to the two second opinions we obtained from other concrete contractors. They would not accept any responsibility, they would only offer an attempt to make it look better.
They provided a sample board but the end result looked nothing like the sample board, it was done with Home Depot BEHR product, it looked like paint. according to the two second opinions we obtained from other concrete contractors, this was the wrong product to use and did not look good. The final result is a very slippery and dangerous surface that does not look like stained concrete.
