Alan came out twice to help us inspect roofs for our home and a home we were buying. He was super responsive, timely, and honest. Tough to find that these days!

My recommendation is to avoid this company. We had plenty of sunny days but our roof repair was completed during forecasted thunderstorms (easily avoidable) and we had water dripping through our sheetrock into our floors and furniture. It is simply not professionally managed or supervised to my expectations. Their response was "rain wasn't forecasted until later" and "it will be okay".

They came across as very condescending in their actions and words. Also, we have video footage of one of the roofers trying to enter our home. No knock, no ring of the bell, he just walked up and tried to enter through the front door. We notified USAA and they escalated a review of this for their "recommended contractor pool". I have been using Helsley Roofing for many years. The owner Alan is a man of his word and you will not be dissappointed. The service is the best you will find. Helsley Roofing is a 5 + + Star company. Give them a call.

All Helsey personnel were very responsive with and worked with us through all phases of the project from ACC approval, install and clean up. I was amazed that if I had not known they had been there there was not a single piece of evidence they had been. The project manager, Chris Hart gave us exceptional service with regular updates and answered all of our questions. Excellent services all around that you never want to need but as far as I'm concerned, we will be repeat customers.

I used Helsley on a recent roof repair and I was impressed with the results. I initially contacted Helsley about the repair and they sent out a person to write up a quote. I was impressed at the time that the adjuster/quoter took. The demage only existed on the soffit and fascia, but he took the time to do an inspection of the roof, which I invited him to do to see if he could spot other issues.

He mentioned that the roof was in pretty good shape and that there weren't other repairs required. I received the quote the next day and approved it. There was a two week timeframe that didn't quite line up with weather and their availability, but I received a call in the morning that they were available and that a crew would be stopping by. The one-man crew was here for about six hours performing the repair.

They mentioned that they would paint if I supplied the paint, which I did. The end result looks great. The guy who performed the repair took the time to describe why the portion of roof had failed and explained how what he'd done should solve the root-cause of the issue. Overall a great experience. They will be on the short list when it comes to a roof replacement--hopefully at least a decade or more out!

Giving two stars for Helsley returning my phone call about repairing the damage to my yard by their truck. One week have passed and still waiting for someone to come out and evaluate the damage. At completion of the work Helsley driver rolled in my grass leaving deep tire indentation. I called Helsley and reported the damage, a week later I received a call back. Helsley Roofing offered to repair any damage to my yard, even offered to pay a quote if I wanted to have a landscaper submit for repairs. On my part in I procrastinated the repair with time going by.

I received another call from Helsley wanted to know had I received a landscapers quote yet or do I want them to take care of the repairs. Do to time passing and me procrastinating and the rains the damage was not looking so bad. I offered to Helsley to repair my self and send my receipt for materials and labor and Helsley said that would be acceptable.

Still I procrastinated and I just never repaired the yard, instead over my procrastinated time and raining, the yard repaired it self. I said all of this to let everyone know that Helsley Roofing never and I mean never once neglected to take responsibility and was extremely persistent about taking care of my yard, it was my procrastination and I must and very much have to give Helsley Roofing five stars and if it was ten star rating I would give ten for responsibility.

I didn't use them for roofing work but would very much like to say Helsley Roofing did a Fantastic roof replacement on my neighbors house. They strengthen shingles in needed areas the builder roofers neglected. My neighbor and I had the same builder and some of the same roof issues. Helsley Roofing is a wonderful company to be associated with - they are prompt, thorough and not expensive. The owner of the company came to my house, viewed my issue with a gutter downspout that I wanted moved, and within a couple days one of the repairmen came, fixed the problem and it was completed. I have been dealing with this company for two separate roof replacements (hail, etc) and I would go nowhere else.

Top-notch company. Originally found them thru an insurance claim for a total roof replacement. We recently had them back for some add-on work. Larry K. was a pleasure to work with. He came out to bid the job and accommodated our schedule, made it really easy to work with them. It was also a pleasure having Varo on the job again and he took care of our repair with great attention to detail. 5 stars!

After another roofing company failed to show up several times, I saw positive comments about Helsley Roofing on our neighborhood site. Alan came out the very next day after I called, quickly found the source of our leak and explained the cause to me. He also made a temporary repair to fix things immediately! He pointed out to me several other locations on the roof that could have the same problem in the future.

He sent me an estimate several days later and I was very pleasantly surprised at the low cost to fix about 4 or 5 areas around vent pipes. He completed the work shortly after that and gave me peace of mind. A terrific service experience, a great price and a company I feel I can trust in the future!

Helsley Roofing was recommended to me for my 1st house when I moved here in the mid 2000s. I was (and still is) appreciative of his work but more importantly his customer service. Alan has always been responsive, fair and thorough in his work. With the hail storms we face in Dallas, he has been the only one I have on my contacts for anything roofing because I know I will get the best service, value and work when my roof needs to be looked at (or worked on).

The team at Helsley Roofing have been great to work with! Over the years we had them perform a minor repair and at another time a complete roof and gutter replacement. Very responsive and professional. Top quality work at fair and reasonable prices. Helsley Roofing Co. replaced my roof 10 years ago and it has held up extremely well. I was so satisfied with their work that I have relied on them ever since for additional maintenance and repairs. They recently repaired a small leak that had developed due to a structural problem in the way my home was constructed.

They took the time to determine the root cause and propose an effective solution which will permanently solve the problem. They always listen carefully, are highly responsive to my needs and stand-by the quality of their work. I could not be more pleased with their service.

Alan and his crew have done roof and dormer repairs for us and we could not be more pleased. They follow up and make sure we are satisfied with every repair. They are the only roofer I will consider if we need a roof replacement.

Helsey did my roof back in 2008- fantastic job. Just had an inspection to see if I had hail damage. Call me jaded but I figured I was going to for sure have damage. Surprise Surprise! I didn't. He said my roof doesn't even look 10 yrs old! Highly recommend this company for quality work, customer service after the sale and most of all- ethical.

They installed my roof in 2014. Great work. Provided me with a list of shingles to choose from which allowed me to work with my insurance company and obtain the specific shingle I needed to reduce my insurance premiums. I have had no issues, my neighbor used them last year and also had no problems.

Avoid this roofer like the plague. Had a roof put on by them about 10 years ago and they did not make sure the pipe allowing carbon monoxide gas to go out from the attic was attached. My renters could have been blown up & when I called Helsley about it, he was unconcerned & said they often forget to connect the pipes. My renters disconnected the carbon monoxide detectors because they kept going off!

A disaster waiting to happen. Fortunately, they only used the gas oven a few times. I was lucky & so were my renters & Helsley. Now, Helsley is doing a friend's roof and the company has done a slop job, taken forever and the roof failed the city inspection. Avoid this company at all costs!

If you're okay with a company that doesn't pay attention to details and is not customer-oriented, I suppose this one would do. What I suspect is they don't count on people taking time to write a review or call back and complain during a slamming-busy time such as this. I laid out in very clear detail what my needs were (a full roof replacement with no sales pitch - just my damaged roof replaced) and how I could be contacted (on my landline during the day).

The office admin AND the sales guy both called me on my cell despite a clear note stating to call the noted landline during the day. Additionally, when I did speak with the sales guy (Brad), he immediately - and I mean straight out the gate, no questions about my damage, nothing - began pressing to set a meeting to discuss upgrade products. After letting him know I had already spoken with Allstate, had a check in hand, and needed a line item quote, continued with the 2 meeting approach (inspection and sales pitch, see?).

I asked to know, ballpark, what I might expect to see cost per square was; and, he literally became belligerent, said he just wouldn't ever do that and he'd look at my house from satellite and call me back with what he saw (despite my telling him I knew exactly how many squares were being replaced, etc.) Spoiler alert. I never heard from Brad/this company again. I've had 2 companies who did give me their costs per square over the phone - and I did make appointments with both.

For the record, this isn't some secret code. It's my house, my roof, my insurance - my money. And I have a right to ask about costs. And any contractor has a right to say no - but to be defensive and rude tells me a company is interested only in my money and not in providing me a service. I'll tell you this. I personally wouldn't let let these folks step foot on my property.

We used Helsley Roofing to replace our roof after ours was damaged by hail. They did an excellent job, and the owner Alan Helsley was a pleasure to work with. He thoroughly explained all of our options, and even talked us out of a roof that would have made him more money since we didn't need that particular upgrade. He is a great guy that stands by his work and cares about the quality of his work.

They also installed new gutters that look great. We will definitely use them in the future and highly recommend them to friends or anyone that may need work done on their roof.

Most consistent roofing company, I have ever known. I install tankless water heaters and need to have flashings installed on the roof on the day we do the tankless. I used to do them myself because I could not rely on the roofing contractor to show up. This company not only shows up, but has gone above and beyond. On one of our last projects, it had started to rain, just before they got there, I thought there was no way we could get the job done. They roofer, waited for a break, then did the job.
