I went here to buy flagstones for my garden. I hadn't bought stone from a stone yard before, but when I asked a bunch of questions, the person at the front desk was very patient and kind and helpful! I picked out the stones I liked (they had a good selection!), loaded up a cart, and got it all weighed and paid for and loaded into my car. On my second visit, I bought more stone than the first time (having gained a better sense for what I needed), and as I was struggling to push the cart to the scale, an employee driving a fork lift came over, used the fork lift to move my cart onto the scale for me, and after I'd weighed and paid, they helped me load the flagstones into my car too. Very kind folks. Will happily go back when next I need stone!

Great place with much in the way of selection from natural Stone to concrete pavers and all the products that go with that. friendly staff both in the office and the yard. Prices are reasonable. Will use them again for other projects.

Really happy with the service and selection. We extended our backyard patio by 100 sq ft and were looking for pebbles to fill space around larger stepping stones. This business had ample options, displayed in a helpful way right inside their gate. It was a busy Saturday with many people looking for supplies, but we only had to wait a few minutes. Our order was taken quickly and the hundreds of pounds of bagged rocks we needed forklifted to our car for loading.

Everyone we spoke with was welcoming and professional. I was at first uncertain about this business reading the reviews, but did not encounter any issues at all. Will happily go back when need arises.

Excellent customer service on a couple large orders. I see some bad reviews and cannot relate with the claims of poor service. All staff I've worked with are knowledgeable & friendly. They were happy to slow down and educate me & made sure I had everything I needed for my patio installation job. Great products & I'd definitely recommend. As for delivery, I've received a couple large orders, each with several yards of gravel.

They've taken time to ensure instructions are clear where the product goes & they've delivered per my instructions. Gravel/patio jobs have a tendency to be a bit messy and hard. If that's not your jam, hire a company to do the work for you and keep your job site clean.

Really want to support local businesses but really unhappy with two experiences and they weren't right by me on how they charged me, felt cheated but brushed it off the first time, not the 2nd. This is in addition to prices that were already 50-60% higher. Plus my delivery was absurd costly, slow, and brought the wrong order. Going to stick to my place up north that's further away but way more reasonable.

Truly the worst customer service on the planet? Hard to say, but I highly recommend going elsewhere. If you do go here, bring a snack and a book cuz you'll be waiting a while even for a laughably small purchase.

I like to support local businesses, so this is our 2nd large order with them. However, it'll be the last project with them and I definitely wouldn't recommend them. I ordered a 1000 lb of Gold Rush Patio Stone and a yard of minus crushed rock. I also paid $100+ for delivery, and $25 for a gravel bin delivery fee. I only live a mile away, but I thought it was fine to support a local business and was paying for premium service.

There were two problems with my order: 1) The patio stones came in large slabs instead of patio size stones. The exact same stones came in reasonable 16-20" pieces for my last project. These were large 4' by 4' slabs. When I emailed them my concern, they said "The patio stone can be broken if the pieces are too large. Using a hammer, with or without a chisel is a precise method." So we bought a 3lb hammer and concrete chisel, and spent many hours breaking it up. 2) The gravel was dumped on our grass.

We paid for a delivery gravel bin fee. So I naively assumed the gravel would be delivered in bins or at least one a plastic sheet. Instead, the ruined a corner of our lawn. It was a time consuming mess trying to shovel it all to our project. They responded with "The gravel bin fee is because the bins take up extra space and weight on our truck, which reduces how many deliveries can be made on a trip." I guess I should've been grateful I didn't have to pay an additional truck fee or driver fee on top of the $100+ delivery fee to go 1 mile. Long story short, save your time and money and go somewhere else.

A lot of the reviews are from homeowners who would do better with a full service company or having their landscaper buy the product. They are set up for people and companies that know what they want. Lucky to have them in the city!

I have been to this store four times this summer and the lack of customer service just amazes me. No one greets you. No one ever asks if you need help. They just zoom around in forklifts moving pallets around. Then when you are finally ready to buy something no one is around. Then you wait in line for 20 minutes to pay when you know someone is behind those desk walls in the back.

This last visit was it. I came in to buy more of the same rocks that I have been buying all summer. But I also wanted to let them know they mis-charged me the last time I was in by.20 a pound. The lady behind the counter didn't apologize. She basically told me I was wrong. Then made me go back out to the yard to show me the rocks that I was charged more for but low and behold they weren't out there.

In fact, I have never seen rocks of the type I was purchasing for anything more than.29/lb (I was charged.49/lb). In the end she didn't correct the situation, I paid for the rocks I needed, and left. I hope that the $12 you made/"stole" from me was worth others seeing this review. Go elsewhere with better customer service if you can. I know there is another paving supply place up north on Aurora near Shoreline.

I've found them to be helpful. Multiple deliveries were all on time, and when I had to scale a project back, they allowed me to exchanged unused retaining wall block for pavers with a nominal restocking fee. It's also really convenient, since I live in Ballard.

Bait and switch alert! We were encouraged to buy less drainage gravel than we needed at the bulk rate. When we came back for more, the amount (.25 yd) didn't qualify for the bulk rate, so they wanted to charge us the bag rate, which more than doubled the overall cost. In addition, we noticed that the posted prices were lower than the price they billed us for Mexican red gravel. When we discovered the error, they refunded us the difference. What a sloppy outfit.

Pavingstone provides great product at very good price, great customer service determining all of my needs based upon my layout and dimensions. The finished product is incredible and greatly improved our court yard entry. Will be my only choice in paving stone materials.

Price bait & switch--was quoted one price in person, when I called back it was 25% higher. Customer service was poor too. Guys. C'mon. We can get your product for considerably less at home depot. I went to you to support my local business, willing to pay the little guy mark up. But with your price bait-and-switch, the final cost would have been 2x what I'll pay for the same product at HD. And no, your product is not higher quality--they're rocks for godsake.
