Services
Bedrock Industries believes in living on earth responsibly and acknowledging that the planet's resources are limited. That's why we make all of our tiles by hand in our own plant from 100% recycled glass. When we say "100% recycled, " we mean just that - all of our tile is made from recycled glass only.
Blazestone tiles are crafted entirely from post-industrial and post-consumer glass - we add no additional oxides or colorants. Each tile is handmade from unique combinations of glass that give our tiles their distinctive appearance and subtle color variation. Bedrock Blazestone shows how beautiful sustainability can be. To purchase samples visit our Shop page.
Having art that gets used everyday is a continual gift for our souls and that's what we've shrived for with our Home Decor products. Whether its a serving dish, a tray of small glass hearts, a glass curtain in your kitchen or the most amazing holiday ornaments, when the Bedrock stuff is out, people are going to ask "where did you get this?" and you are going to feel pretty smart to have it. Best of all, it's made by hand in the US from glass we recycle with love.
Everyday we hear from our customers about how much they love their Bedrock stuff. They tell us how looking out the window at their mobile in the morning makes them happy and the greeting they get from their lollipop collection as they return home after a long day gives them a sense of peace. We strive to make these beautiful things with the hope they add joy and peace to your daily life.

I haven't been to the current location- 4021 - 13th Ave W, Seattle 98119 I expect that what I wrote in 2014 no longer applies. When they were in less fashionable area it was easier to have rubble pile, etc. See reviews within the last few years of the current location near the Fisherman's Terminal: https://bedrockindustries.com

I love this place! I buy tumbled beach glass for preschool art projects. I also bought the glass and tiles for my fountain and rock river outside my home.

We went into Bedrock Industries because we wanted to utilize their earth-friendly recycled glass tile for our bathroom remodel. This was WAY better than paying for some pre-made tile pattern. Maria helped us lay out something creative and bright with a variety of colors. The result is stunning! We love that we have something entirely unique and we got to create the pattern. The staff is very friendly and helpful and I can't recommend them enough.

Wonderful, funky store! If you love creating with glass, this is the place. I fill my garden with the things I find here. Great place to learn how to create tile and glass mosaics. Very friendly staff. You can spend a lot, or just a little.

We love this place and will definitely be back! We stumbled upon this place from looking at Yelp reviews. My son loves tumbling glass so we came here get some glass. They have a good selection of glass and I love the fact that everything is 100% recycled and would've otherwise been in the landfill. They also have some cool stuff that could be used as party favors too!

Last year we decided to tile out bathroom as we were having mold issues with the paint. We went to Bedrock to consult Maria the owner who knowledge of color palate and shapes were invaluable. As we had never done this before she share her years of experience with us, advising us on the grout, adhesive and tips for arranging them. The colors were amazing we went with the Surf, and when a tile was broken due to our inexperience bedrock exchange them without change. Now no more mold and our bathroom looks beautiful. Excellent customer service and excellent product. Well done Bedrock!

One of my favorite places to buy gifts or get inspired to make something. They carry already made glass fused items, recycled cups made out of beer bottles, coasters, their famous glass hearts made from recycled glass. Also a variety of tumbled sea glass and glass tiles that can be used for kitchen back splash or restroom remodels. I couldn't resist picking up this koi plant stack at their black Friday sale. Used to be near the Magnolia bridge but can be found under the Ballard Bridge.

Bedrock totally rocks! I have waited 10 years for a good reason to buy 7 pounds of beautiful beach glass that the owner has lovingly created. It was worth the wait - the hardest part was deciding because there are so many beautiful materials to consider. If you love glass, especially beach glass, you will love Bedrock industries. Just drive very slowly and turn left before you cross the RR tracks and you'll find it in the very back of the complex. Here are pictures of my landscape project, I built a path for my dog and sprinkled it with beach glass.

We were referred by Dreamscapes Landscaping in West Seattle and we are very glad to know of this place. Dreamscapes incorporated broken glass into our new outdoor gas fire pit and it is stunning.

Recycle, reuse. They have all kinds of glass for just about any project. This time it was glass tiles for counter tops. Spent 3 hours laying out the counters with help from staff. We are very happy about the results. It is kind of ex it in finding the place, but just follow the signs even if it looks wrong.

What a great place to get material for mosaic projects. Always lots of stuff to see here. Only drawback is the 1 lane side street to get to their new location. Other than that; lots of parking and great staff and service.

A bit hard to find, so if you go, pay attention to directions. I was so excited to check it out. I went there many years ago in their old location. What a disappointment. Waste of time. Lots of broken tiles, art with missing pieces. Really, a lot of very expensive junk. To cap it off, the person on duty was clearly not happy to be there. Thumbs down.

A little tricky to find but worth it. Look for the little signs near the fence. They are patient and allowed me to lay out my design before buying all those luscious glass Goodies. One of a kind spectacular business!

I became acquainted with Bedrock industries 20 years ago when I was working down the street from them at Northwest Industries. I've been going back consistently ever since, most often for small items like the recycled glass heart that you can hold in your hand. I buy them in a variety of colors, usually a dozen or so at a time so I always have some on hand to give when the feeling strikes me.

A great way to show appreciation and more than once an in-the-moment expression of solidarity or acknowledgement of grief of a colleague's loss of a loved one. No card with Hallmark verse needed. I've also bought numerous things for the garden, functional and art, an extraordinary go-to destination for gifts for just about anyone. After many years at the original location that had to move three times in three years.

At an amazing new location under the Ballard Bridge that suits them perfectly, hopefully they have landed in a place they can call home for years to come. 4021 13th Ave. West, Seattle,

This unique and artistically created and crafted business is one of a kind. I love the fact that they use all recycled material and are local artists. Please, help their business keep growing and continue to thrive for the next ten to 20 years in the Northwest. They need your support to keep their doors open. Buy your holiday gifts, your house ware, tile, garden creations here! They're wonderful and the owners are wonderful too! Please help them stay standing. We need to support our local companies and artists. I love this place and I know everyone who visits and buys from them will love it too.

Really original and useful place. Unlike the box stores they have a lot of different stones and minerals that don't make your house look like a corporate office park garden. Very helpful staff and easy location one you find it.

I recently took a mosiac glass class at Bedrock, you get to make two masterpieces during the class. Our instructor Ailana was brilliant, she has a real talent for coaxing your creativity out. I was really impressed with my final product. The selection of products is amazing, any type of glass you need for your projects is available. They had some great examples of backsplashes and bathroom projects.

Went to Bedrock to access stock, expecting that I would create my own design, but had really great help from the staff there. They have great design ideas yet listen to what you are looking for. Tiles are beautiful, as is their other stuff. I was out to complete a "chore" and wound up doing that PLUS really enjoying the process. Bonus! Highly recommended, even if you just want to browse.

Bedrock is fantastic. They've got every color of glass you'll need, plus piles of excess tile and glass that you could spend hours picking though. You'll find unique pieces inside the shop. I was there around Halloween, and if I were the type of person to decorate I would have bought the Frankenstein - it was the most unique Halloween decoration I've seen in years.

The staff is ultra friendly and helpful, although they are prone to disappear if you're there in the middle of the week and are the only customer around. For those who have never been, they are located down an alley and hidden behind another building. If you miss the left turn, just take the next one and circle around to the left behind the building. You'll find it.

Bedrock is a hidden gem in Seattle. Staff are friendly and helpful and give excellent advice if you are working on a project or wish to have a special piece made by their artists. I often bring out-of-town guests here for a visit as there is always something new to admire.it's like a mini museum of rock and glass, plus their "found items" that come and go are worth returning for often to see what new treasure is available.

Love, love, LOVE this place! Perfect for those who are working on home projects/landscaping/gardening and are looking for some unique detailing. We were looking for smallerish pieces of glass for FOREVER to wire onto our balcony to give it some color, and after searching for what seemed to be forever, we stumbled upon a booth at the Edmonds summer fair.

While we didn't see exactly what we were looking for, the woman at the booth promised us that the factory outlet itself had a much grander selection, and she wasn't kidding! I could have wandered around this place for forever.they had tons of recycled glass for practically any project you could imagine. And after the helpful assistance of one of the associates, we were able to find exactly what we were looking for.

I suppose it is all relative if you think this place is expensive or not - the glass pieces that we found were about $1 per ounce.so about 15 decent sized glass stones later, we were looking at around $40. Not too bad. The sales associate even gave us pointers and showed us examples of how we could hang the glass. Bedrock Industries is such a great place! I will definitely be back.

This place is so cool. i first saw it on an hgtv show, and had to stop by while in seattle. they have some of the most beautiful tile and handmade artwork made from recycled glass. my hubby and i are always working on a project, and if the glass tile was affordable, we would definitely be sending some home. unfortunately, the tiles that i fell in love with were pretty pricey. so we opt for buying some handmade artwork, two robots holding hands made of glass. we also get a girlie robot to take home to mom-in-law. and i couldn't resist picking up a few decorative glass balls that had amazing colors. wish there was a place like this near my hood.

Check out their website for all the scoop http://www.bedrockindustries.com/ and then head down to see all the beautiful glass for yourself! The Stoneyard is super fun with all sorts of glass pieces, big and small, for various projects. A nice assortment of gifty type things and then cool super huge projects that are just fun to gawk at. Their special order tile is pricey but the stoneyard has seconds at a lower price (4x4 tile at $2.75 each), and even those look pretty great.

The guy was super nice and helpful and they advertise mosaic classes. The tumbled glass is gorgeous and I'm sure you could think of all sorts of fun things to do with it. We can't wait to do a bathroom wall in recycled glass tile!
