N&S Supply was founded by Louis Nussbickel during the Great Depression as a second-hand retail business, originally called "Lou's New and Used." The business operated out of a small shed in Fishkill, NY. As the business grew, he saw a need for the distribution of plumbing and heating supplies for the upstate New York market.

We had a great experience working with Bobbie a few years ago when we were renovating our bathroom. Our contractor recommended Bobbie and we can see why! That store, and Bobbie's experience and advice made a stressful experience a lot more pleasant. And I am still absolutely in love with the vanity and other pieces I purchased there.

Dave in the Brewster store made my day. He is extremely knowledgeable, helpful, courteous and hilarious! He helped me find the part I needed that fixed my issue. I also accidentally left another part which I had brought to the store initially. He called me and told me that I had forgotten it there. Without this piece, I couldn't finish my job. I just read the prior reviews, and sadly, I did not have a good experience at N&S. I live locally and was referred to N&S to help me figure out which part I would need to fix a broken cold water faucet in a pedestal sink. After being directed into the "parts" room, a middle-aged man who was drinking his coffee was clearly not in the mood to help me.
In fact, he told me he could not help me. I tried to explain my situation to him and all I received were snarky, obnoxious responses. Not sure if he was having a bad day, but no customer should be treated this way. I don't plan on returning any time soon.

N&S just blew the big orange box store's prices out of the water on slant fin covers.by 30%! It pays to shop around and make a phone call or two. I will never blindly go to big orange thinking they have the best prices again. When I need the corner and ends for this installation (which I forgot because I couldn't believe the price difference) I'll be back. Thanks Folks! John
