Great sales team and buildings showed up the day they were scheduled

Very unprofessional. I had a scheduled job interview/ weld test at 6pm (was scheduled 5 days in advance) I arrived 30 mins early. I had to wait for them to cut plate or get ready. 1 hour & 15mins later still not ready. left.what a waste of time

Very good place to work. Good pay, a lot of hours, off on Sunday good benefits.

Shipping is taking forever to load my trailer. It's Saturday and I was supposed to load Friday but due to circumstances had to reschedule. I figured ok. great they will load on Saturday. If my load was ready yesterday then Saturday would be awesome. I got here at 8am and dropped my trailer to be loaded. I left for a couple hours like suggested and came back. Upon returning the trailer has been moved and some materials have been loaded but still a long way to go. idk. Lots of sit time

I guess. This is the word I heard 3 times in the span of a 1-minute phone call to inquire about a small workshop. Tim Cerny couldn't have been less interested and just blew me off. In the span of 1-minute I was told "I guess, it's going to cost you a lot, and you're building this in Houston!?". Nothing like a nice condescending voice saying things like you know you gotta have permits and such. Find another company.

I want to say that the salesman was great (Bob), from there on, it was one problem after another. We had issues getting the design correct. We had issues getting ahold of the Project Manager or Engineering. They are slow to answer emails, or do not answer them at all. Details promised on a specific date were non existent. We work by a deadline, so not getting what was promised, by that date, really set us back on the project. Inventoried the parts that can in, verses the truck pick ticket, and the supplied checksheets.

All parts were verified and matched the number sent. I called to let the Project Manager know about the 2 missing frame connection pieces, only to hear, that she would have to let Customer Service know. I was told that Customer Service would contact me in regards to the missing parts. I was not told if I could get them today or not. I needed them today.

So that we could square up the building frame for the roof panel installation. I have not heard from Whirlwind about this issue all afternoon. My fabricator is having to make the pieces, for now, until we get the correct ones. I cannot afford to have my crew take a night off this late in the week, with no timeline on the parts coming in. We will never work with this company again, once this project is complete.

Salesman Keith was great. But when I called week after my delivery date inquiring about my 2 roof structures, I was told that someone will call me back. 2 days later I get a call back saying that they forgot about my order. They don't know what happened to my order but it will not be ready till June 16th. My delivery date was suppose to be around April 11th.

After few phone calls and talking to the manager they changed the date to May 27th. This delay cost me thousands of dollars pretty much equal to the cost of my roof structures. Like everyone else I ask for some compensation but I was told it is not available and jobs can be delayed. Very poor management and customer service. Only reason I chose them over Muller because they offer 10% down.

I should've paid 25% down and gone with Muller. But learn my lesson, never doing any business with WhirlWind since they costed me lot of money. Good thing I have everything in email so they cant deny.
