OAKBROOK ESSER was born when Oakbrook Studios of Oconomowoc, acquired Esser Stained Glass of Milwaukee in 1986. Combining Esser's 85 year history in traditional European religious glass with Oakbrook's innovative talents resulted in a multifaceted studio. Located in Oconomowoc WI, we encourage clients to visit our museum-style gallery and 10,000 sq.
Oakbrook Esser Studios is well known for preserving the legacy of "organic architecture" through quality art glass creations inspired by The Prairie School Era. Straight-line patterns are characteristic of Prairie Style art glass designs. The natural integration of glass inserted into a metal "grille" construction forms a simple rhythmic arrangement of straight lines, squares and severe angles.
At Oakbrook Esser Studios, every project is unique as our staff designs and creates one-of-a-kind leaded glass art for private residences in a variety of settings. Bringing value to your investment, custom glass makes a dramatic first impression adding character and a quality of high standards to any room of your home.
Much of the Nation's stained glass and leaded glass has recently passed, or is quickly approaching, its 100th anniversary. Stained glass windows should last a lifetime. Through a complete and professional restoration program, the stained and leaded windows that add so much to historic buildings can easily be enjoyed another hundred years.

Amazing Craftsmen. This is a large stained glass studio there are a lot of examples of their work of display and a huge studio full of so many glad options to choose from when you are starting your project. I was surprised by how reasonable the pricing was to have the window I envisioned custom made and they were wonderful to work with.
