BK Mikro is typically used as a broken tool detection system but can also be used for many other applications such as object inspection, position recognition and checking for part defects. The only difference is that in variation "A" the rotational movement is limited by a mechanical stop inside the housing while the scanner "RL" can rotate in both directions without stopping.

The compact, din rail mounted control unit mounts easily in the electrical cabinet and provides a full line of advanced functions. This Premium version controller with combined I/O unit can monitor up to 512 different objects or monitoring functions using 24vdc binary signals. It is typically used for applications checking tools in a machining center's tool changer or when multiple functions are needed.
