Westside Building Supply, founded in 1959, is one of the largest independent, family-owned building material retailers in the Pacific Northwest, and serves contractors and do-it yourselfers through its large lumberyard facility as well as a modern, vibrant retail store building. Westside specializes in complete house packages, installed sales programs such as kitchen and bath cabinets, garage doors, prompt delivery, and expert service. There are certain things you expect to find at a Lumber Yard and Home Center like lumber, plywood, hardware, roofing, and paint, but at Westside there is much more.

Our Cabinet Design Center has qualified designers to assist you in your custom cabinet design needs. We are here to work with both homeowners and contractors in taking your project from conceptual design to reality. We work closely with our knowledgeable installers in making the process as enjoyable as possible.

I needed a garage door spring. If I could give 10 stars, I would, and here's why. Garage door springs aren't available anywhere, even at 4X the price from a year ago. Nowhere, period. I called Westside last. Should have called them first. They didn't have the spring either, but Sam said he would try to help. The next day, he called me back. He was able to MAKE ONE out of parts! That's service, man! He explained in detail how to install it, because he knows exactly how to do it. Thanks, Westside, you were worth the drive!

Do you hate wearing masks and want to feel at ease among your mask-less peers? This is the place for you. Nine out of ten staff were not wearing masks. Working in healthcare I am trying desperately not to get COVID so that I can take care of my clients in the event of an outbreak. Therefore this is not the hardware store for me. *I did report this business to department of health and encourage you to do the same if you've had a similar experience here*

Westside Building suppy has just about everything for anything! I always stop there first. The people are great! Always friendly and seem genuinely happy to help you find what you need or even might need. Way better than the big box stores like Lowes or Home Depot in Bellingham. I fully recommend anyone planning a home project to stop and check out what they have.

They have a pretty decent selection for dealing with different building situations. Constantly surprised by the stuff they keep out back. they have been most helpful in getting a hold of professional items. Example being i needed some flashing for a siding job i was in the middle of doing at my residence. They found what I needed which they normally had instock but did not at the time and ordered it up and called when it was in so I could continue with my project

"Only" 4 stars because nothing man-made is perfect. Wayne/Sam are a great team. Our family had a storage unit that we could not access. The Garage door exterior keypad was not programmed with a PIN #. Wayne got into the unit, new battery for the ext keypad, replaced interior keypad, fixed the remote "clicker" PIN programmed into external keypad. Awesome work. We are customers

Westside Building Supply is my top choice for all my house projects. They have an amazing team, with excellent customer service and support. The far exceed all expectations in every department. Westside, also, has a great inventory. If the item you are looking for is not available they have options for similar items. They have special ordered for me before. This is my go to place, if they are not open when I am desperately in need I will go to the big box stores. I prefer Westside though.

I've rented equipment from Westside more times than I can recall. The staff is always pleasant and professional, they help me hook up, load, and even deliver equipment to my jobs on occasion. They take the time to make sure that I'm familiar in the operation of any machinery, and everything has performed as expected, with one exception I recall - and in that instance, they exceeded my expectations in setting things right. They're no longer my neighborhood hardware store, but I'll still go out of my way to rent there.

We've had two homes built and both our contractors used Westside for their supplies. They have excellent products and fantastic customer service. Terry and Hollie were so easy to work with and accommodating. We love our cabinets and hardware! Our semi-custom front door is beautiful! We had a little problem with the stain and they took care of it quickly. I highly recommend this company.
