Versatile Building Products leads the industry in decorative chip and flake epoxy garage floor coatings for concrete. We have systems that can be installed in as little as 3 hours as well as epoxy systems that have little, odor or flammability issues. We were the 1st to introduce a rollable Chemical Resistant 100% Solids Polyurea that has a 30 minute pot life, giving the applicator plenty of time to get it down on the floor evenly.

Versatile business product is a great company that offers great paint and building product with amazing staff that is always very courteous and a pleasure to work with. I've been dealing with both Nancy and Prisma for a while now and both are super nice, extremely knowledgeable and always accommodating. If you are a contractor you should check them out. Very highly recommended.

The best customer service I've ever had. I had questions about some products I was interested in buying and the online chat pop up actually was actually resourceful and answered many of my questions. Even when there came a question they weren't sure the answer to, I was referred to a technical associate who called me immediately. Beyond impressed with the customer service! Thank you Versatile.

I am a frequent customer of versatile and will be the last time I buy your products. I order an apoxy products for almost a month now and the front desk lady by the name of Nancy is a lier because she claims shipping the product to my house and I have given her my correct address. The product was shipped to a house in Adam's st in the city of Muscoy, Ca which it took a month and a week to get the address change.
Bad customer service. do not buy from this store they are not responsible on their actions when shipping address was given. I will not recommend your store for anything else. There is a better store in Irvine, Ca where you can buy epoxy products with a better customer service experience.

I've used VBP products on about 200,000 square feet of garage floors. No need to use any other products. Never had a single product related problem with a floor. Of course, I have had the occasional issue with VBP, as I would with any company I use for an extended period of time, but all issues have been resolved satisfactorily. Jimmy has always been extremely above and beyond helpful. Tina is also great. Can't go wrong with VBP.

Versatile has horrible return practices! As a home owner, I went into Versatile to pick up some items for a backyard project. One of their sales guy recommended some items to me and I told him I didn't think my contractor would use them. He told me well you can bring them back if he doesn't use. Sooo as I thought, he didn't use them. didn't even remove the seal or label.
They were scrubber pads for crap sake. When I went to return them I was told they could not be returned even though it was 100% clear that they had not been used! I was told that the sales guy shouldn't have recommended the pads because he doesn't know about that sort of thing. Really? A sales guy selling items he knows nothing about? That's funny! Update: Thank you Jimmy M for helping me.

I'm a DIY type of guy. I had been pinteresting, YouTubing, instagramming all sort of info on epoxy floors and epoxy fills in wood and cracks on floors. But this typed of stuff is not at Home Depot so I was a bit lost. I found this retailer on yelp and went for it. I was going to ask questions like crazy. Sometimes you go to these type of places and they expect you to know everything and can be rude when you have no clue.
The receptionist was super friendly but she wasn't all that knowledgeable. But then Alex Olalde cane by and was super duper friendly and knowledgeable. He listened to us and dealt with the million questions of a lost person. He was patient and explained everything in detail. They even offer classes once a month at a very low cost. Ask for him when you go. He's great. Now I'm not clueless and my project turned out great.

Buyer beware! I called this company because I was looking for a DYI epoxy coatings and this company came up. After looking at the website and watching all the videos I felt I could do the job. I went into the showroom and was just put off with all the products. After talking to the sales person I was referred to a company called Alpha Epoxy Coatings.
Here is were the problem started I call Alpha Epoxy Coatings and got a hold of a guy named Luke this is a new company but I felt if Versatile is referring him then he must be good. Luke came out and gave me a quote for a 4 car garage for 2200.00 he told me he got his training from Versatile and was Certified. The contractor was not licensed at all and is the are you ready for this "Son of the president of Versatile Building Products" Luke came out last week to do my floor and it never dried.
The installer did not mix the epoxy the part B was not added to the product so it will never dry. After calling around this is what I found out Garage Experts of San Diego, Orange County and Los Angeles are no longer around. I have this feeling and that is all it is that Matthew Newman President of Versatile is terminating the 3 local franchise for Garage Experts so that he can give all the calls to his son Alpha Epoxy Coatings. BTW Alpha Epoxy Coatings is not licensed with the state of California NO contractors license and he also had 3 employees working at my home.
If you go and look at Alpha Epoxy Coatings and Veratile you will see that same pictures. I am sure this will be deleted because Versatile is a big company. I just want to let people know my personal experience. As you can see the response from Jimmy This is not a fake review at all. Facts: The CEO Matthew Newman, President of Versatile Building Products His Son Luke Newman Alpha Epoxy Coatings You trained Luke Newman an Unlicensed contractor Versatile referred me to Luke All 3 local Garage Experts are now closed (To make room for Luke) Your staff has passed this information to me.
The pictures on Alpha Epoxy coatings under Our work is your companies pictures of your showroom not his work at all. I based my decision on using him because you said he was good. You failed to tell me that he is 22 years old and is not licensed and has no real job experience. Oh and last you never told me that he is not a licensed contractor.

Just got into epoxy flooring installation for my existing business and these guys rock. Awesome all the way around from helpfulness in ordering, install docs, and customer service during install process. Can't say enough about Fernando specifically- he is tremendously helpful and went beyond above and beyond for us while we got started. You won't go wrong with these guys.

On my first project for epoxy floor I called customer service and spoke with Fernando, he helped me from beginning to end, I would call for advice day or night and would return my calls, thanks to him I was able to finish! It was raining and I was afraid the floors would not dry on time but he advised me on everything he recommended products and gave me directions. The product that I applied dried super fast like it was a sunny day. They have quality products and the best prices. Thank you for incredible customer service!

Visited online site to check out floor coatings. Was offered a chat session. The lag time between posts was about 5 minutes on their end. When I mentioned that the rep. typed slower than I did she told me she was multi-tasking. wtf?! Then I called the place and was pushed through numerous products prompts which finally yielded a human person who asked what I was looking for? Really?
Then I was directed to terminal hold. Lastly I sent an RFQ (request for quotation) and the person responded the next day telling me that the shipping to the SF Bay Area (from Anaheim) would be $50.00. Wow. Went to Lowes

This place is awesome! The staff is always so friendly and supportive. I've worked with Danielle multiple times and I'm always blown away by how quickly and efficiently she handles my orders. She treats my business like its her own, which is such a rare and unique quality in customer service. Thank you, Versatile, for being great and for taking good care of me every time!

I became acquainted with Versatile Building Products when I was in So. Cal. over the Holidays. I'll never go back. First of all the showroom was crammed and dirty. Then the customer rep was completely uninterested in giving me any detailed info on using their epoxy coating. I got the feeling they only wanted to make a quick sale and never see me again.

What a pleasure working with Kristen at Versatile Building Products on my epoxy order. From the moment I first called she helpfully walked me through my order with numerous questions answered that resulted in my feeling that I was ordering the correct products and amounts. In addition, they provide me free shipping (my order being over a certain amount) and even made me aware of a special that saved me additional money. Terrific company!

I have been using Versatile Building Products for many years, primarily purchasing epoxy, flake and polyurea products. The materials always arrive quickly and the end result never fails to disappoint. Customer service has been friendly and helpful the few times we have actually had any issues and the pricing is fair. Highly recommend for all your concrete coating needs.

I was assisted by the sales staff with product purchase and we prepared the surface and applied the material ourselves. 1800 square feet of interior space took approx. 10 hours for 1 person to complete. Prep time was a couple days as we ground off glue residue that was left after tearing up a glued down carpet. The video was very educational and I am happy with the floor.
I had my garage floor done by a commercial company a few years ago and my warehouse floor looks just as nice. The durability is excellent. We are running pallet jacks with heavy loads of paper on them and there isn't any issues.

Versatile Building Products has been my material supplier for epoxy flooring for close to 10 years. I have see this company steadily grow because of their commitment to customer service, excellent products and availability. I have a close relationship with this company and they have supported my efforts on many levels. In this industry you often run in to situations that require special attention and innovative solutions; VBP has been there for me through many of these times. I recommend this company to contractors that specialize in epoxy flooring. For consumers, I recommend hiring a good contractor like AAAdvantage Concrete Coatings.

I have been installing 2-4 garage floors a week for more than 5 years and I come across a problem floor a few times a year. The technical department typically tells me to stay away from the floors with moisture reading above 12 because they are high risk and I agree with that. However I have done at least 10 jobs with readings in the 8 to 11 range and not one of them failed so I am really happy with how the 4150 epoxy works.
In fact I have probably done over 500 floors and I have only had 3 issues and that involved the concrete popping off or my guy didn't mix the topcoat correctly. I give this company a rating of 5 because their product really does work as they say it does and they have really good technical support. I make a good living doing this all because the 4195 epoxy works exceptionally well.
