Central Home Supply offers over 2,500 products; there are over 100 types of natural stone alone! But most importantly, if we don't have it, we can get it! We'll search our extensive databases to locate the unique, the hard-to-find, the unusual, and get it for you. Central Home Supply was founded in 1974 by John and Ann Santee. They moved to the present location, over 5 centrally-located acres at the corner of Highways One and Nine (River Street) in Santa Cruz in 1977. The company is still family owned and operated by brothers Rick and Rusty Santee.

A cubic yard is the volume of material which fits in a space one yard wide by one yard deep by one yard high. Cubic yards are used to measure materials ranging from concrete to mulch for your garden. To determine the amount of materials you need in cubic yards, you must first convert all three dimensions to the same unit of measurement.
Your satisfaction exemplifies the level of service and commitment we strive to deliver to all of our clients. Reviews not only help our online reputation, but they help others make a more informed decision about doing business with Central Home Supply. A simple call to Central Home Supply got me in contact with Greg who got me a quote right away.

Stood for 15 minutes in the lower dusty yard waiting for the guy with the forklift who sent me down there. Finally gave up, took some photos and walked to the office. The really nice young man with the accent was there but unfortunately he was busy and I got the misogynistic bored guy that hates his job. Less than helpful. Rude from start to finish.
He told me to basically repeat the same process I had just been unsuccessful with. This is when the phase "spend your money wisely" kicks in. Dude, what? no walkie talkie or other device with which to communicate with? And he told me I could shovel 1.5" stone into bags or 5 gal buckets and then someone (what someone would that be?) would bring it to my car (eventually?) Is there a process for those that are unable to do that?
I really hope that wasn't the boss. All I wanted to do was buy a bit more of what we just bought or if they were out of it then something similar. I give 2 stars because the service was fine on the weekend otherwise I'd give them 1. Bad service on a Thursday, who would have thought? There are other rockeries and this one has just lost some customers. Really Central, some of your employees need training in customer relations. I am sure you know who they are.
