Bob McKeown founded Robert McKeown Company, Inc. in the spring of 1937. Before starting his own company, Mr. McKeown had been a salesman selling industrial electrical paints and varnishes, in addition to electrical insulating materials, to electrical manufacturers, repair shops and distributors. As a regional supplier to the electrical coil industries, our customers included electric motor manufacturers and electric apparatus repair facilities. The company did not change markedly until after World War II.

EMI shielding tapes and gaskets provide low cost, dependable protection from hazardous electromagnetic energy emitted from nearby devices, systems, and natural sources. There are an array of EMI gaskets and shielding tapes that can achieve exceptional attenuation levels, protecting sensitive electronics from hazardous, ambient RF band frequencies generated by motors, radios, nearby circuits and lightning.
Sensitive components and systems often require strict temperature maintenance to keep them operating efficiently and safely. Thermal management is the practice of using specialized media to control the distribution of heat throughout a system. It involves a combination of careful hardware and software design to effectively manage the thermodynamic properties of a system using techniques like heat transfer, convection, radiation, and conduction. There are a variety of use cases for thermal management ranging from electronics and aerospace to automotive and manufacturing.
Electrical assemblies need strong adhesives that provide reliable adhesion and the attributes required for consistent electrical performance. Disconnected parts and electromagnetic interference can interfere with functionality, but specialized adhesives such as electrically conductive tape can ensure longer-lasting performance.
