Majic Window (Inlinefiberglass.com Toronto MFG) replaced our windows in April of 2019. The day they were installed, the crew not even off our street and the windows began falling apart. Trim pieces falling off as I opened them. I called immediately and was told by Matt it would be 2 to 4 weeks before a "repair" person could come out to make the repairs., This saga has been ongoing since that day in April, 2019. Now, a new person (Faith) called us on June 13th. 2022 saying new people had been hired and the company was going to make everything right again and our new parts would be in on Monday, June 20th. 2022 and she would call on Tuesday, June 21st 2022 to set an appointment up to make all the repairs. Oh, by the way. Majic installed 12 windows, 9 of them are defective.
Any way, it seems that the "new, improved" employees are just recycling the same empty/false deceptive promises. This whole time Majic reps. have been blaming Inline and Inline is blaming Majic. I've even called Mort Crim Interprise and told them this story. They told me they no longer represent Maji, but I still see his pitch on T.V. I guess the only thing the consumer has left is legal action. Too bad there isn't a spot for NO Star rating!

I live in a condo association that has no soliciting signs throughout, yet Majic continues to bother our residents. We have tried several time to alert the main office but it seems impossible to get someone on the phone there. Can't imagine if I had actually purchase their product that you cannot get them on the phone. The rep coming through is a "Field Supervisor." If this gentleman can't adhere to our signs imagine what he is teaching new sales agents. - Local sheriff is aware of you now Majic.

We hired Majic for a complete redo of siding and wanted James Hardie siding so this was the company that James Hardie recommended. The project went somewhat fine (though it took twice as long as they intended and was a month later then the rep said it would be). Less then six months after they completed it, the trim is falling down and bowing in places. Their 100% customer service line is complete BS as they won't call me back. Even though it is just the trim, it makes the whole job look like trash. So disappointed!

We hired Majic to replace all the windows in our home. We originally dealt with Tayler the Operations Manager at Majic. He assured us their quality and work would surpass any other company out there. Install happened and had several mishaps. The crew was unprofessionally, sloppy and not worth the price paid. A window was measured wrong and had to be reordered.
After the initial sale Tayler is non-responsive to customers. Several windows came broken, damaged and missing parts. The last "repair" was attempted in Nov 2021 and the replacement window ended up being measured wrong and was the wrong color. We were told it would be redone and installed in 4-6 weeks. In Feb 2022 I was told it would be 3-4 more weeks by Brian their General Manager.
I contacted them again in March 2022 and Brian stated they didn't forget about us. To this day I have an unfinished window that leaks air and elements and several unfinished repairs that are needed. I have had windows done by two other competitors and only wish I had gone with them on this and not trusted Tayler. This has been a total joke and nightmare. Majic is awful to work with.
Once they have your money they don't care. I will be escalating this as far as I can to try to get a job completed. Please be cautious when dealing with them. Photos show how the windows were left since 2021 while waiting on "repairs". I'd gladly update is this if they would stand behind their work and complete a job.

Edit: received a call after posting this review and issues were fixed, trim is more flush, caulked and painted white. Original Review: If I could give 0 stars I would. The sales person originally quoted for 22k and ended up being 3k for just the bay window. Contract said white trim, obviously this is not white. Quality of work is awful. Waited for a month to have someone come out and check the quality (same pictures I sent to sales person and corporate office) and he just took similar pictures. Said would call next day with a decision.
No call for 2 weeks now. It is a laughable. When installing, workers were yelling and swearing. On a client call, ceo of a company overheard the workers doing this while my office is in the basement. We had all of our windows replaced with the fiberglass windows from Majic. The installation crew was extremely professional, timely, and very efficient. We worked with the director of operations and he was great about listening to our needs and budget and presented multiple options that were withing our budget. Overall, our new windows look excellent and we can't wait to start enjoying the energy efficient benefits.
Also can't beat the 50 year warranty! We are even getting our roof replaced with Majic in the next coming months! Highly recommend this company for your windows and roofing needs

Had windows installed six years ago. Windows themselves have been ok but recently removed shutters in order to paint the house and discovered Majic didn't wrap the window trim completely and instead caulked it to the shutters instead of bending it back to the siding. Completely unacceptable install job and their only solution was to charge us more money to finish the trim that should have been done properly in the first place.

Majic was amazing to work with; the representative was courteous and knowledgeable. The customer service was excellent. The installation was quick and efficient. Majic did a great job cleaning up after themselves and the fiberglass windows I purchased are far more energy efficient than the previous vinyl ones which were installed just 4 years prior. Dealing with Majic was an excellent overall experience and I would highly recommended them to anyone looking for quality windows.

Sexist company. Majic was in my neighborhood last year and tried to schedule a free quote. I accepted, but they called me and told me that they needed a man to be present with me for the quote and that "windows are a big decision". I'm the sole homeowner. I live with my boyfriend but I'm the only one on the mortgage. I told them I'm no longer interested due to these comments and to leave me alone. Months later, Majic called my phone and were rude and aggressive.
They first called me out of the blue about replacing roofs and windows without mentioning their name. I was confused who it was and they made fun of me for it. The person on the phone said "So your house doesn't have roofs or windows?" Again, they were engaging in sexist behavior. I told them I'm not interested and went with another company (which I did!) Got another call today.
They asked to speak with a man. I told them to leave me alone and never call me again. I wouldn't be surprised if they tried again, though. If they do, I'm blocking their number. I am glad I never moved forward with a quote. Please avoid this company and go for Wallside Windows instead. They at least respect women homeowners.

Refused to make an appointment with me unless my husband was going to be present. I own the house, pay the mortgage, etc. I told them this on the call. I thought discrimination against women was a thing of the past. Now I get that they might get the objection of having to check with a spouse before major purchases, but we all know that if the price is right and the quality is good, that objection is never used. The windows get purchased.

I am really disappointed that their rep would not talk to us/provide us with a quote unless both of us were there. I was home, but was working and do not have a flexible schedule. My husband was more than capable of listening to their options, getting a quote, and then making a decision himself.without me. They really need to change their policy! The rep was in our home for God's sake and still would not go over pricing with us because I could not sit right him in front of him. This is ridiculous and inefficient!

Majic Windows is thee absolute best company to have your windows and slider doors replaced. Howard was our sales-guy from Majic and he did an excellent job in explaining the different products, materials, and pros/cons of each. We selected a three panel end-vent slider in our lower level den in black. The window came in on time and the price was much more affordable than the other 4 companies we had quote the window. But more than that the window looks GREAT! We are so happy we are making plans to have all the windows and slider doors in our home replaced by Majic Windows.

The crew showed up at the time we agreed to, and left my yard spotless when the job was done. High quality work to say the least. I'd highly recommend Majic for any of your remodeling needs.

I scheduled an appointment making it clear I was the sole homeowner. Hi pressure Sales tactics. More focused on themselves than a prospective client. They spent 30 minutes telling me all the reasons I needed a woman with me to make a decision for my own house. I'm a degreed engineer. My girlfriend is a kindergarten teacher! She's a wonderful person, but not the right person to make a technical decision on the merits of one window versus another on a whole house full of doors and windows.
Their Director of Operations Mr. Taylor Adams spent 30 minutes refusing to show me a window and telling me all his reasons why I needed my girlfriend to be there. Clearly inferring he was absolutely convinced I was not able, or capable of making my own decisions, and not worthy of his time unless my girlfriend was there. With such a bad attitude, and complete lack of respect for a homeowner from their Director of Operation, I can only imagine how difficult it would be dealing with the company to get a problem fixed. Mr. Adams is a poster child for bad sales tactics and how not to treat a potential customer.
Please make your own decision, but i felt I wanted nothing to do with a company that has that kind of Management. There are lots of other window companies that will respect you and your time. I would never recommend this company.

We had an amazing experience using Majic Windows and would recommend them to anyone. They removed an upstairs door and replaced it with a fiberglass window. The finished product looks great with no drafts and sound proofs the room nicely. I can't say enough about the team that we worked with from start to finish. Brian Brooks took great care of us from start to finish.

Aggressive cold calling after repeated attempts to be removed from call list. Sales rep refused to listen, refused to allow me to speak to a supervisor. Wasted my time during my work day. This is now the third call I have gotten from this rep. Be careful. Any company that uses these sales tactics clearly does not care about the customer experience. When it is time to replace my windows, this will be the last company I use.

The company arrived on time and was very professional and courteous of our home. Not trailing in and out with a bunch of workers was very nice. Only one main person in the house while others worked outside. Great install! very neat and clean caulk job and picked up all debris outside when done. I would recommend Joe G. Great job! First of all, going door to door during covid is just a bad idea. He also wasn't wearing a mask. Second, the guy allowed my father-in-law to say "hello" before the first thing out of the salesman's mouth was "do you speak English?" My father-in-law has a german accent but speaks English perfectly. It was just plain rude to say before allowing him to get more than a simple hello out. Very disrespectful.

Professional company, with very knowledgeable and committed to satisfaction representatives. My windows and door walls used to rattle in the wind and now that I got some upgrades-my house is quiet and WARM! NO DRAFTS! The installers worked with me to get a good time that worked best-didn't have to miss work and they got done at a decent hour. Financing available which is nice through COVID. I didn't feel pressured and will probably be redoing my roof here soon with then. Highly recommend hearing them about their products!

Majic Window installed insulation in my attic. The price was fair the quality of work far exceeded my expectations. The men that they sent were friendly and not in a hurry. They showed up right on time. They answered all of my questions and were quick. I am extremely happy with the work and the company. I would definitely recommend them to friends and family.

Majic Roofing did an awesome job replacing my asphalt shingles on my entire roof. Starting from the sales rep, Matt, we felt the company was professional, honest, and timely. The job was expedited for our sake and was completed on time on the day we were told it would be completed. I am impressed with the timeliness and professionalism. The installation was flawlessly completed in 1 day and the cleanup was as thorough as the installation. Well done guys and thanks for the good work!

A couple communication blips on the front end, but all in all I'd say I had a great experience. The windows and door wall I had installed are pretty top notch, the frames and slides are far easier to operate than the originals in the house. I've had about a 20% reduction in heating/cooling energy as well. I waited several months to give a review just to see how everything is holding up, and I really am happy with how everything turned out. Not the cheapest around, but you get what you pay for. I'd recommend Majic to anyone.

Contracted with them to replace all windows in my home on 11/06/20. Paid $6600.00 down payment. Windows were installed 02/12/21. Balance was paid in FULL. Building inspector came out 04/06/21. He red-tagged the window installation job. He took exception to the window panes falling short of full seal. They are NOT energy tight. Contacted Majic the next day.
They sent out 2 representatives on 2 separate occasions. Both agreed with the building inspectors findings. They were of the opinion that the upper sashes were built too short, and needed to be replaced. A date of 07/20/21 was given for new "uppers" to be installed. On July 20, 2021, a Majic representative showed up by herself, with no replacement "uppers".
When I inquired where the new "uppers" were, she responded that management wanted to try "one more thing". She attempted to fit foam shims on the bottom of the lower panes, which did not remedy the situation. In the follow-up telephone conversation with Matt, (the head of installation for Majic) following the 07/20/21 visit, I was told replacement "uppers" would be in by mid-September. Mid-September is past, and now the excuse is there are parts on backorder. Majic Window has been given several opportunities to correct this issue.
Each time they have failed to honor the commitments they've made. This response is unacceptable. I did not receive the competent window remodeling job that I paid for and must now consider how to fix the problem of their making.

All the negative reviews are true. Save your money and sanity by going with another roofing company. I had been living in the home for 10 years. The home is 15 years old and was approaching end-of-life for the roof. I had no leaks in the roof, but the shingles were ready for replacement. Majic came out quickly to replace the roof and finished in two days.
That was the end of their customer care. The recent bout of sustained rain has revealed a leak in the roof over my attached and finished garage. After one week of me calling them, they finally sent someone out to look at the roof. They put some sealant on the roof -which didn't work - and said that they would contact me to arrange repairs. They said they would, "ensure the leaks were taken care of, then cover the cost of repairing the damaged drywall in the garage." They disappeared again.
After a few more days of me calling them, they now tell me that the roof damage isn't from them, but that it was a problem with the construction of the house. Now I would be responsible to pay for repairs! The fact that this area did not leak before the roof replacement means nothing to them. They messed up something when they replaced the roof, and now they will not own up to it.
Never in my life have I dealt with a company this poor at customer service. No call backs, not honoring the warranty, passing the buck on something they screwed up. In the meantime, the garage is getting worse and mold is setting in. Maybe I need to have a real contractor fix the mess and send Majic that bill. I may need to pursue legal measures to get something done here. EDIT: Shortly after posting this review, I got a call from Majic (actually from their subcontractor).
They say they will come out and make the repairs "to keep the peace". I don't know if it had anything to do with this review, or if they were contacted by another party. In June magic windows came and began taking down our old gutters and prep for aluminum siding on parts of the house. They didn't return for a week. The company they subcontracted to was MIA. They left everything how you see in the photos. We have children and that's what was outside. Couldn't go out because it was dangerous. Majic Ended up having an office guy come and finish the job, which he did well.however, the gutters were done by another subcontractor.
We let them know right away that there was a problem with the gutter system. As we told them from the beginning to not copy what was done previously as it wasn't working. Well, that's exactly what they did. I realize in today's times that things are short staffed and hard to come by. However, it's now October and they have yet to finish the job.
They were paid in full, as well. If you want quality work done in a timely fashion.this is not the company for you. Our mulch is completely washed away and now it's working on removing the dirt in front of our house. Every rain even if it's not pouring mulch is all the way in our street.

PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. How they're still in business is beyond me. They're crooks and dishonest. They overpromise and under deliver. It took them almost a year to install our windows and they tried to scam us by changing out the contract without our consent and permission. Take these reviews seriously. They're unprofessional to make things worse. They prey on home owners who are renovating and they scam them. Good luck if you do business with them.

After my review on 8/17/21 someone contacted me said his name was Jay. Matt and Jay said they were going make this right! The appointment was set for 8/26/21, then rescheduled for today 8/30/21, so here we sit and to no surprise todays appointment is rescheduled for Wednesday 9/1/21. Since the the phone conversation with Jay on 8/20/21 we have had 3 heavy rain storms and yes water came in the house thru MAJIC'S WINDOWS. Guess I will continue to do what Matt told me to do over a YEAR ago and "just put towels down to catch the rain coming in the house".

Summary: high pressure, expensive, and either dishonest or incompetent On 7-24-21 Kayley S., "management analyst" for Majic came to give an estimate. We made it clear that the roof had been done in 2009 by the previous owner, but one of our skylights in our sunroom was leaking very badly and the other 3 had leaked occasionally over the years. We thought worst case scenario, we might have to deal with the skylights and reroof just the sunroom, which has its own roof away from the rest of our roof. Kayley went out to inspect our roof without ever actually getting up on it.
She came in with a close up photo that supposedly proved we had 3 layers on our roof, telling us that it's against code, too heavy, needs to be torn away and redone ASAP. Her "good for a year" estimate to redo the entire roof, NOT including the leaking skylights, was $43,056 (compare to $5,600 paid to another roofer in 2009) or $55,856 to include replacing the leaking skylights.
Her "sign a contract today" price was $34,987 + $7680 for skylights. We told her she was our first estimate and we 100% never commit without at least 3 estimates. She went on and on about how any other company would give us subcontractors, asking "So you're ok with subcontractors doing your roof?" and "So you're ok with paying the higher amount if you don't sign today?" Guess what?
We had 2 other roofing companies plus our Father-in-law come out and lo and behold, we have ONE layer on our roof (and neither of those companies use subcontractors). Everyone else said our roof still looks great, has at least another 10-15 years on it, and we just need to deal with the leaking skylights and surrounding shingles. I still can't fathom how she thought we'd believe that a house that was built in 1986 and last reroofed in 2009 would possibly have 3 layers on it.

Almost all of the seals in my sons home are broken on manic windows. My son works full-time and I have left several messages with magic windows customer service and I've not had one return call. This has been going on for over a year and a half. It's too bad because their windows are actually nicely made except for the problem with the seals I am in the process of putting new windows in my home and was going to have them give me an estimate when they came to fix my sons window. After their poor customer service I'll move onto another contractor.

Had window and doorwall installed and too many problems with the quality of work done. They sent out a " tech" to analyze the issues Tara took pics and looked things over and left Matt called set a day that I thought would be to fix but no Brian another "tech " came out and looked over took more pics said he didn't get anything from Tara and he said Matt would be calling! Omg how many techs do they need to figure out how to fix? Theses were installed in March it's now end of may I've been too patient with this company and want results! Mort crim should be embarrassed to think he used to have anything to do with Majic windows

First of all we decided to get an estimate from them on windows which was a huge mistake! I kindly asked the guy to leave my house several times and he kept trying to talk me into buying windows by "calling his manager" to get me a better deal. I kept telling him I wasn't interested. Over 2 hours and this guy would not leave my house! I finally texted a family member to call me and claim I had a family emergency so I could get him to leave.
This was a few years back and obviously I got new windows with another company now to this day they are still calling and hounding me about making home improvements, I've asked them about 5 times to take me off the calling list and do not call! Please do not go with this company, they are absolutely horrible!

We like the product- but everything else about this company is horrendous. We replaced 22 windows in our home, plus some repair work. The sales process is stupid, although they made an 'exception' in our case, and worked with my husband only. We were promised repair immediately, yet it took 3 months and repeated phone calls after they didn't show up for appt.
When the windows arrived, install was arranged very quickly. Install was smooth, but, not completed and they damaged our furniture. Now, they ignore our calls about fixing the damage. Scheduled to complete the install, first guy showed up with wrong materials, second guy didn't show for appt. Had to call to get a third appt scheduled, but am expecting a no show. And. no show for appt #3. We will definitely not be hiring this company again for anything.

I explained several times over the phone that I would not have the money to pay right now but yall insisted that the guy was just going to give me a quote that would lock me in for a year. Unfortunately after the guy couldn't complete the sale he said twice not to have salespeople come out if I'm not ready to write a check! Completely rude and uncalled for. Love the price but with his attitude I may not choose you to do my insulation in the attic.

Pushy salespeople who lie. My husband scheduled these guys several years ago and promptly lost his job. I called within the cancellation window and a sales person called me back to beg us to reconsider.he then denied ever speaking to us or getting my cancellation even though I had proof of the calls. It took us almost two years to get our roof and it was expensive. Avoid this company.

The common theme here seems to be pushy salespeople and an unresponsive customer service department. I made the appointment for my "free estimate, good for a year", and ended up with a salesman, (Greg), who wouldn't leave my house without committing to a new roof. That was on August 10th. Now it's October 20th and I haven't heard a single word from anyone. I've made numerous calls, leaving voicemails with the installation department, with Leticia, and on the main line, and it's been crickets.
I even called the salesman's cell number and I got a recording saying that the number is unavailable. Sounds really fishy. Mort Crim should be more careful with the companies he endorses. My advice is to go with anyone else.

Even from beginning the interaction with this company was sketchy. A sales person knocked on the door saying they were doing work in the neighborhood and wanted to see if I was planning on having things done soon. very similar to other reviews and stories. I'm the sole homeowner living with my boyfriend. - I'm actually glad I read the other reviews, because I thought they wouldn't do the estimate with just me because I'm a woman. That's the impression I got from my estimate confirmation call.
Although I stated clearly I was the "decision maker" and sole owner they were less than friendly and insisted they come out at a different time when my boyfriend could be available as well. At that point I told them if they weren't comfortable meeting with just me to not bother scheduling anything. Even in the future I will look at every other company than them. Rude, unprofessional, and poor customer service.

They promise you a certain amount of work at the time of sale but fail to follow up. They even have very poor quality of worksmanship. Missing caulking around trim, grease on windows left after installation, failure to replace rotted wood, VERY irresponsive team. We had to call multiple times just to schedule installation (at like 4 times) and then the day of installation they changed the date twice. I would not recommend this business. Keep in mind that many of their reviews are positive because they give a $50 credit for writing a 5 star review

Everything seemed great at first. Our sales rep Andrew "worked hard" to get us a good deal on windows we wanted. Not only did we NOT get the windows we wanted, we also didn't get white trim with our white windows like we were supposed to. Tried to get ahold of Andrew and he never returned our calls! Definitely disappointed with the customer service and communication
