We have visited many stone stores in the Tampa area and Danielle at UMI in Tampa was such a pleasure to work with. She asked us questions about what we were looking for and walked the floor with us. She helped steer us away from the types of stone we had said we didn't want. She taught us very helpful tips on how to view and select the stone. We highly recommend her

Maria Rodriguez, a Customer Service Rep at UMI Stone in Jacksonville, is by far one of the most helpful, knowledgeable and professional people I have come in contact with since we started our home renovation. I called to get some help with marble countertops and fortunately Maria answered. I really was not familiar with the process, but Maria was so helpful and patient in helping me figure out how to go about it.
She went above and beyond anything I ever expected in order to help me (I am fixing up a house in Jax while living in Virginia). She knows her stuff and is so willing to help. Thank you so much Maria and UMI Stone. (PS they have an incredible inventory of beautiful things).

Upon arrival we checked in and waited for an associate to walk us through the warehouse. As she was practically sprinting through the aisles of stone, explaining the types of stone etc while walking in front of us. We could barely hear her much less have time to stop and look. It was extremely impersonal and felt rushed. Simply based off of that, I wouldn't purchase from the company. Need to work on their customer service.

Our salesperson, Leyzcha, was an absolute doll. She was so patient with us and made us feel so important and valued as customers. We left feeling happy and confident about our granite choice. Our experience here was simply wonderful. Leyzcha certainly understands customer service and has a lot of knowledge about the products she sells. I would definitely recommend seeing her at UMI stone in Tampa.

We went to several stone suppliers and had the BEST experience at UMI Stone. I would highly recommend going there, as they have a very large collection and are very knowledgeable. Shelby M, was so helpful and had so much patience with all of our questions about the different stones. Once we narrowed it down to our final favorite choices, she even helped us make sure it matched with our kitchen countertops and sink choices! I would recommend asking for Shelby when going there because she was Great!

This is the best place in Jacksonville to see slabs of soapstone, marble, granite and quartzite that I have seen. I did visit 4 other similar businesses. Tony Raimato was extremely helpful in allowing me to find the perfect countertop material and make a final decision on the selection. I am thrilled with my selection.

First class customer service and one of largest quality selections in town. If you want to support a local business this is the one. Ennio the owner is there everyday and will show you slabs himself. If what you're looking for is not there he will do everything in his power to bring something specific in for you.
