Worst customer service and just plain incompetence. We went there 5 times, tried to work with 2 different sales people and could never get an estimate or call back on some simple doors. So much wasted time. Gave up after trying for almost 2 months to get the doors ordered. Finally went to Smith and Deshields and got them ordered after 15 minutes with a sales person that really knew their stuff. DO NOT GO TO NAPLES LUMBER.

Not a great walk-in place. I was recommended by my friend and contractor to stop by and pick out a double entry door. OK, not too hard. I stopped by and am the only customer there, other than a couple in a side-office consultation. I ask for a salesperson, as the door options are many; and then salesperson asks me to tell her EXACTLY what I want because there are a lot of options. (ISN'T THAT WHY SHE'S THERE?). AND.She seemed impatient with my questions to attempt to narrow it down.
After some awkward exchanges of door features and budget, she said she would email me my quote, which I received the next morning still unsure if this was the most economical and best option. Oh. I have to separately call a second salesperson who was not available to get a quote on hardware, she only quotes doors. Yikes. Not a time-efficient or pleasant experience.

I stopped in today to pick up a 4x4 post and to check the place out. I'm a Naples native and am always excited to help local businesses. I own my own handyman company and am also an avid woodworker so I was excited to find this place and give my money to a local company rather than Home Depot! I got there and waited in front of the large desk for 15 minutes.
No one acknowledged me even though there were 6 people behind the desk and only 2 on the phone. Eventually one gentleman asked me "what I needed". I even called for information and availability before I showed up. I asked for a 4x4x12 pressure treated post as my first purchase and he charged me $30. I was kinda shocked and then asked what about 4x4x8 and it was $20.
Both were almost $10 more per post than Home Depot. Can you imagine if you were doing a fencing job and needed to buy 200 of them? Every dollar counts. Even still, I'll pay more for a quality place with good service. NOT THE PLACE here. After I pay he hands me my receipt. No thank you for my service at all and like I said I've never been there before!
I look around and ask where I'm supposed to take this. He says 'building 7'.ok I already see where the customer service is here so I wander outside and start looking for building numbers myself. I will not return. I spend easily $10,000 yearly at Home Depot in wood and tools and would've gladly switched over to Naples Lumber since they are a mile from my house and place of business. Not anymore.

I guess we weren't a big enough job. Never received promised quote from Bob Ahlstrom regarding two doors, and never received promised quote from Gary Restaino regarding 10 PGT windows. I followed up with an emailed request to ask them to please follow through with a quote, but no response to that from either one of them either. Wasted our time in showroom with lots of talk (about 1 1/2 hours), but not quite sure why as they weren't interested in selling us anything.

I recently did a whole house remodel, spending almost $30,000 at Naples Lumber. The service was by far the worst service I have ever had within the construction industry (I have been in construction over 37 years). My orders never arrived on time and when they did, they often were either damaged (i.e. New $10,000 front door) or incorrect (Interior hardware-no hinges, just a couple examples). Martin M. NEVER returns a phone call. If you use them, be prepared for serious frustration.and whatever you do don't use my sales rep.
