Quality is not an issue of stone selection, and even though a stone may be a second or commercial rating, that does not mean the stone is of poor quality. Quality is definable like the tolerance of the thickness, sizing tolerances, squareness etc. Many buyers request on major projects and/or purchases to have goods inspected.
Getting your product in front of people, whether it is consulting or stone or tools and machinery in the stone market, requires time and money. Typically allow at least 5 to 10% of your business income to go towards marketing and another 5 to 7% for sales. Most companies don't budget anything or not enough and when times are hard the first thing they cut are sales and marketing, just the opposite of what they should do.
Most people want information and can't get enough of it; this is the way I am. I spend what little money I have buying information from all over the world; from modern to books dating back to the mid nineteenth century, or older, if I can find them. Perhaps I can't speak the language, yet information on stone sometimes is a universal language of its own.
