At interview I informed the employer that it would be impossible to work their graveyard shift. I went as far as saying if graveyard is anywhere on the table then we should just end the interview. I also said what I would like as an hourly wage. They were really happy with my interview and hired me. I gave notice to my prior employer, trained my replacement and actually took a 3.43 pay cut.
But Timber Products was a lot closer and way more convenient. 5 months after starting, everything was great. Then without notice, they eliminated 4 jobs in the department in which I worked. I was told I had to go to a different department, transfer to graveyard and accept a pay cut. I did one night on graveyard and worked along side two really cool temps and realized i was now pretty much a janitor. Anyway, that was my last day.
My wife leaves for work at 5:30am. Two babies cannot be left alone. I've contacted my previous employer and there should be an opening in May or June. As of now, I am unemployed and it will get financially rough soon. Timber Products couldn't care any less! It doesn't matter who I spoke to I got the same answer. You have one option, that's it! Anyway, the few people I worked with were great!
Too bad this company turned out like this. It was a pretty good job and the people I worked with were all great people. I would hope to remain friends with most of them! It is now somewhat obvious as to why they are so short staffed and the turn around so high. Go figure, a company that so blatantly lies and and gives you the finger as your walking out the door is a company nobody should want to work for! Just sayin.

An employee can make a difference. I want to thank Mr. Powers, my experience. My appointment was at 3:00 pm, I checked in at 1:30 pm because I was worried because a storm was coming and I didn't want to get stuck in the mountain area because of the snow. Mr Powers saw the information and how I was the next with an appointment, he gave me the door and they loaded me in 30 minutes, by 2:10 pm I was already leaving the place and managed to cross the mountain area without problems.
How nice it would be if in all places the employees made an effort like he did. Thanks On top of that it balanced the weight perfectly, I did NOT have to be readjusted TOTAL 43,985 + truck and trailer almost 79,000

Worst place to work. If u have family you might as well leave them for good if you work here. They say family is everything but they do not think so. They also treat there employees horrible and throw pizza party's like it makes it all better. Will let everyone know to stay away. They don't realize how many people I know.
