Galt Rock & Concrete

I liked coming here, the lady at the front desk always has a smile. My issue is I live in wilton, and I went in there Saturday because I was driving by and bought shredded cedar. I paid 45 a yard and the guy that was loading it was doing everything he could do to not give me a piece more than I paid for. This may sound petty but Conners has it for 35 a yard and gives you heaping buckets when he loads you up. Guy's, if I could give you some advise you can get away charging more but not giving less! Also tell the guy loading to be more friendly and act like he likes his job.

I have used Galt Rock services for many years, since 1992, and have had no issues until now. I'm in the middle of a front yard makeover including a complete replanting of the lawn, which I explained when I called Galt Rock to order topsoil for the grass seed. I received 1 1/2yrds of ordinary plain dirt. I called today and was told I got exactly what I ordered and have no remedy (apparently I was supposed to say "humus"). I will not likely use them again nor make any referrals or recommendations. Very dissapppinting.

Galt rock is a good old small town business that is a full stop shopping location for landscaping. The owner is very friendly as well as all the employees, they are all very knowledgeable so I feel comfortable going there and I will continue going there. They're starting to rent more and more stuff so that is a big plus, don't have to drive all the way to the big city of Sacramento to rent a trencher now. Jason

We love the crew at Galt Rock. Jennifer always goes above and beyond to help us out. We chose the pandemic to put in a new fron and backyard. We have purchased river rock, soil, pea gravel, black bark, and sod. Thank you for great service.

This company made arrangements for me with us having 3 landscapers at my house waiting for the soil. I order the previous week with another company and he didn't deliver sat then didn't deliver Monday so Galt Rock said let me see if I can make that happen for you and sure enough they came through. WOW! So happy I walked in there last week! I quit using them about 5 years ago because they shorted us a couple times and I really am happy to say that they have AMAZING people running the show here now! I've had many deliveries of rocks and dirt from Galt Rock, and I have been super happy with the experience every single time. Everyone working there is super kind, they always get everything to me carefully and on time, and they are flexible when I need it. We will for sure continue to do business with them into the future, and absolutely suggest to others to do the same.

I would give you guys all 5 stars b/c I'm local here in Galt and have used you guys many times over the past 15 years. BUT this is now the 3rd day in a row iv tried to call to set up a delivery.it says online and as well in the voice message that you are open Mon --Sat till 430 pm. I tried Tuesday Weds and today.it's currently 330 pm on may 1st. TRYING to give you guys some business.

They have what I need. Not over priced. The people are friendly. I reccomend it

They gave us the absolute worst customer service. we were promised we could receive dirt and concrete on a Saturday, which we re-arranged our entire schedule around to only be told mid morning Saturday we cant get either dirt or concrete. when I contacted the owner on Monday he had the audacity to again say they were booked up all day and we again couldn't get concrete or dirt until maybe the following day. Fortunately there are some other great companies in the area ( California Rock and Folsom Redi Mix) who were happy to assist us.

Even on a Saturday I'm in and out with my load in the truck bed in less than 10 mins. They are super friendly and nice every visit.

They were very friendly and helped me select planter rocks that matched what I currently have. Prices were reasonable and delivered the product as promised. I would go back to them

Their cement by the yard is the best quality, and they are very friendly. They have never been strict about how taking longer than the normal 2 hours to return the cement trailer. Highly recommended.

There were no other customers on the lot, but it took almost 15 minutes for someone to come out of the office to help me. They also no longer carry retaining wall blocks that I needed.

I needed a last minute delivery before a party we were having. I called Galt Rock in the morning and they had my order out to me within 3 hours. The lady on the phone was very friendly and the delivery driver was professional and quick. Thank you Galt Rock.

If I could give negative stars, I would! I have used Galt Rock and Concrete for 3 deliveries (soil, gravel and sod) and all three deliveries were OVER 2 hours late. I believe in second chances before evaluating a company. But 3 times in a row is a real pattern. I contacted Lisa, the owner, on all 3 deliveries. She was less than interested and could care less.

She was more interested in telling me where she had jogged that morning. If you can afford to have your crews standing around waiting for a promised delivery, then by all means use this supplier, I can't. Pathetic!

I've been using this company for over 8 years. The customer service is excellent. Usually I have products delivered. They have always tried to accommodate all my needs. Recently I've been picking up bags of rock and moss rock at their site. They've prepared it, assisted me with my choices and loaded it for me. Their prices are reasonable and the staff is pleasant and helpful.

Nice and friendly the first time we went there but after that didn't get the same greeting. Never followed up with us on some rock they were out of, didn't want to work with us on getting something similar and had an extremely tight selection.
