Our landscaper had ordered from folsom readymix before around november 2020 and for some reason we came up about 300-sf short. This time around May 2021 we ordered about 100-sf more than what we measured and when the truck left, I noticed about 100-sf of the area was not done. I asked the concrete workers and they said "we ran out of concrete". The next day when I reviewed the camera footage monitoring the truck area, I noticed the pump-guy came up to the truck driver, whispers something to him and the truck drivers who was waiting to feed the pump more concrete, suddenly disconnected from the pump and pull the truck away then started writing the invoice.
I placed the stop-payment on their check, contacted the office and told them that I could only pay for what was delivered. Their Rep. Tiffany Cole sent a letter saying that if I don'r pay the full amount they will go ahead with a lien on the property (collection, small claims are not options with them). So I sent her the video of the incomplete delivery and the check for what was delivered.
I received a letter from some strange collection agency that is not clear what they're saying. When I contacted them they said I had to contact the folsom readymix. As of now tiffany cole does not respond to my email inquiries nor returning my calls. Because of the video, the landscaper agreed to finish the remaining 100-sf at his own expense. I wanted to post that video to this review but it only accepts pictures.

Buyer beware! I am not a concrete pro, but I have poured more than one pad. In the last four months I have worked on three jobs laying 9 yards each of concrete. So I figured, with three guys working, that pouring three yards would be a cinch. I was wrong. The key was "pouring". Folsom Ready Mix delivered "cookie dough", not "pancake batter." The delivered cement was setting-up in my wheelbarrow, before I could even dump it at the worksite.
It was a lot of work to rescue the job. When I called Folsom Ready Mix, the sales manager very nicely said "tough luck!" He wouldn't even give me a break on the over time that I incurred when I immediately had to put two of the three guys to work working the concrete. I find it interesting that another customer seemed to have the same problem. I also didn't like that I was quoted $119 a yard ($357 for three yards), but ended up paying over $200 a yard because of "extras".
I was told the day before the job. Once again, the sales manager was a real nice guy. Must have a lot of experience with upset customers! But honestly, I would have preferred working with a jerk that gave me a good product.

Just wanted to share how happy I am with Folsom Ready Mix. I'm a small concrete contractor in Sacramento Ca. (Isborn Concrete). The service I receive from Georgelynn in dispatch and my Rep Chris Ready and the drivers has grown my company into a very successful company. AAA service and a great crew has pushed my little company to the next level. Thank you all so much.

I would give 0 stars if I could! I was behind on of their trucks on the highway and a rock not once but twice hit my windshield and cracked it, no surprise they are denying responsibility because I didn't have a dash cam to prove it came from their truck. All the pictures I have of the truck time stamped I guess are all irrelevant. They claimed I didn't have evidence or witnesses even though I said my son was in the car.
They asked me his age which is 21 by the way and they still wasn't sufficient enough. This place is an absolute joke to not accept responsibility for something that occurred with one of their trucks!

Clueless and rude. Folsom Ready Mix send their trucks out at 5:30 a.m. in the morning, gladly waking up everyone in the neighborhood and blocking driveways. We called the office and they claimed they had left notes on neighbors doors. They DID NOT. Then they gave us every lame excuse in the book. They were rude to us when we asked why they were out so EARLY. They're breaking the Sacramento County Noise Ordinances. I can only imagine what other ordinances and laws they are breaking. I would NEVER do business with Folsom Ready Mix. NEVER.

Bad communication and no remorse. Large amounts of gravel coming off their truck hit our vehicles behind. This was both an intense experience of trying to get out of the path way and also one that caused windshield damage. It took 6 weeks to hear back from the claims department after multiple calls and emails and was initially told it would take no more than 2 weeks.
There response was not empathetic but defensive and told me to pound sand and call my insurance. I could only imagine what this company would do if more than a few hundred dollars were on the line.

The office staff was great. The cement job turned out good. The only problem was with the truck driver/cement pourer who came to do the job the morning of June 1st. He said his name was Steve. It was truck #69. He had a bad attitude. He didn't want to cooperate and reverse partially into the back yard to pour the cement as we asked. It shouldn't have been an issue as there wasn't any mud and there was gravel. The second truck driver/cement pourer that came this morning did an excellent job. He was very helpful and friendly.

I contacted these guys because one of their concrete trucks was dropping debris all over the freeway which ended up cracking my windshield. To no surprise the denied everything and told me too bad because if rocks fell out of their vehicle and hits the ground its not their fault. I'm guessing if you use them for their services and it didn't turn out great it's probably your fault too.
Since I can't post pictures i'll post our email conversation that i had with their HR department. Me: Hi, i was headed west on the 80 today towards davis at 8:15 am and one of you ready mix truck lic # 22545U1 was dropping cement all over the freeway. One of the pieces put a large size chip in my windshield. Attached is picture of the truck and my windshield. Folsom ready Mix: Dear Mr. Pham The claims department at Folsom Ready Mix is acknowledging that we are in receipt of your e-mail that you recently sent us. Folsom Ready Mix, Inc. takes great care to prevent this type of incident from occurring by assuring our equipment is carefully maintained on a daily basis and operated safely.
Our trucks are cleaned and inspected prior to driving in traffic. Our trucks are also equipped with modern safety equipment such as; regulation mud flaps and tires with special tread design. When debris falls from a truck and hits the ground first, it is considered a road hazard by the State of California Automobile Insurance Industry and it is not the responsibility of the vehicle owner.
Usually in these instances a rock is thrown from a tire. In reviewing and processing your claim, we do regret to inform you that your claim has been denied by FRM. Our GPS tracking system shows that the truck was barley moving and this corresponds with what our driver explained to us. Therefore, based on our investigation and the information you provided us is not the responsibility of the vehicle owner and that it is in fact a road hazard determined by the State of California Automobile Insurance Industry.
If you have not done so already, we encourage you to contact your insurance carrier. Sincerely, FRM, Inc. Claims Department Folsom Ready Mix, Inc. Me: Lorraine, I expected as much. I just need to vent my frustrations. I hardly call moving over 65mph as "barely moving". Of course your driver will deny that he was at fault and that the truck was cleaned, but the fact that it wasn't and rocks fell off the vehicle just proves the point. Are you telling me that every inspection since the dawn of man as always prevented and incident from happening? Inspections are there to reduce incidents not prevent it and I know you know it as well. Look, i'm not trying to make a buck off FRM; its your words against mine and for you to blatantly deny my claims is really sad.
The fact is that your driver didn't secure/clean his load. Just because he dropped rocks and it hit the ground before breaking my windshield doesn't mean it wasn't his fault. Those rocks came from HIS truck. At this point I really don't care if your company fix my windshield or not. It's just disappointing to see that you'll rather hide behind a law you know is absurd rather than doing the right thing.

We used these guys for the concrete at our home. If I could give them negative stars I would. The guys who did the pour did a great job and we love it. However we ordered colored concrete to be specific a brownish tan color.we noticed after about a week or two of curing that the color was way off. We contacted our contractor who arranged a meeting about a week later. John from Folsom Ready mix came out to inspect the job and look at the color he agreed the job was beautiful however he brought a color sample and indeed the color was way off.
Not just a little but it looked more like a taupe. He assured me it needed more time to cure but if the color did not change he would be back out and they might have to do a colored sealant on it to correct the issue. I waited 3weeks and called he assured me he would be out the following week with a color specialist. Nothing! Never showed never called and won't return calls.
He finally called my contractor and told him it was his problem. These guys are crooks and further more could care less about the end result they just take your money and run!

As a contractor, we pour concrete on a weekly basis. We've used dozens of ready mix companies over the years. Folsom is BY FAR, the best ready mix supplier we have used. Although we do have a late truck every now and then, compared to any other company we have used, they are ABSOLUTELY the most consistent. I find the dispatchers to be friendly and communicative and we basically use Folsom exclusively at this point. We even pay them extra to take cement out of town when we need it.

A year ago, I ordered and paid for a specific brown color mix of concrete for a new wall and porch and was given "PINK". Their inexperienced driver backed into my gutter and when I called the office to report the damage, the Safety Director Sam was never available and did not return my calls. Read the paperwork before you sign for the delivery/pour!
They take no responsibility to anything once they have your signature! A call back would have been nice to show they were concerned about my experience. 12 months later, I hate my wall and porch because of the ugly pink color I was given! The corners of the wall is crumbling. I do not recommend this company based on their lack of customer service, inability to mix color, and hiring unqualified drivers.

Folsom Ready Mix provides low quality recycled concrete. I had their substandard concrete installed about a month ago and it looks ugly and already has cracks. Also, Folsom Ready Mix uses unlicensed contractors to impose their defective concrete on innocent customers, as it happened in my case. I hired Jose Torres (now I know that he had no contractor's license) to install concrete on two sides of my driveway and in some sidewalks.
I found him by referral and he assured me that he was a contractor working in the industry for many years. One morning a truck with a sign "Folsom Ready Mix" came to my house. While the concrete installation was in progress, the truck driver demanded me to pay him. He threatened me that he would leave his truck blocking my driveway until I pay him and give him my driver's license info.
He gave me a paper entitled "Delivery Ticket" that had a note: "Give extra 20 min stnby, then 1.50/mn Don't leave w/out payment." In this way I was forced to pay Folsom Ready Mix an arbitrary amount they demanded for something I had never ordered from them and never inspected. When I saw Jose Torres again, I pointed to him the defects in the concrete and installation and he, without much ado and on his own accord, promised me that the next day he would remove the bad concrete.
I never saw Jose Torres thereafter. Apparently he counted on getting his pay not only directly from me but also through Folsom Ready Mix, who, in their Delivery Ticket, added $1000, with no explanation or description, to their total charges. After Jose Torres disappeared, I called Folsom Ready Mix Customer Service and complained about the poor quality of their concrete but they did not give a damn and just redirected me to their accounting person Lynne Walker.
Among other things, I told Lynne Walker that I hired only Jose Torres and knew nothing about Capital Landscaping & Irrigation (unlicensed too) who, according to the Delivery Ticket, placed the order for the concrete but she said that they usually put Jose's orders under somebody's else name. She promised me that she would contact Jose and would call me back.
She never did. Now I will have to pay enormous money for removal of the defective concrete which Folsom Ready Mix imposed on me without me ever ordering, authorizing or approving it. Also I'm trying to figure out with whom I have to file my complaints.

DO NOT USE Folsom Ready Mix.debri flew out of their containers and caused damage to my vehicle. I pulled over and called their office immediately to let them know what had happened. Needless to say they said its was not their problem. Other vehicles had pulled over too that were damaged. If a company does not take responsibility for causing damage to cars imagine what would happen if they did a delivery to a private residence or commercial site.they will tell you to submit your claim to your own insurance.
The paint on my Van was damaged as well but all I wanted was for them to take care of my windshield. Not a company that can be trusted to take care of you if they cause damage to your vehicle or property. Update to an Issue with Folsom Ready-Mix.after many phone calls I was finally able to talk with the Operations Manager Josh.he listened to my concerns and took care of the damage caused by their Vehicle. I raise their star rating to 3. Thx for reading.

We were had our driveway extended and our contractor ordered about 6 yards of cement from Folsom Ready Mix. The driver was on time and very helpful. Unfortunately our contractor miscalculated because they came up about a yard short. I called Folsom Ready Mix to request they deliver another yard of cement. I was prepared to pay an additional fee for the small order however was shocked when he quoted me DOUBLE the cost of my original order. DOUBLE the cost for one-sixth the amount of cement.
They were obviously taking advantage of a situation where they knew we had very little options. When I expressed shock and asked the rep if there was anything that we could work out he was terse and rude and and wasn't willing to do anything. I do not recommend using Folsom Ready Mix.if you do make sure your contractor orders extra cement.

No wonder so many people like using Folsom Ready mix. They are actually nice and don't act all macho and brain stunted like other concrete companies. From the moment I called for an estimate to the clean out of the truck, they were by far the easiest, most pleasant concrete company I have ever dealt with. The truck was about 10 minutes late which is to be expected when you request a delivery in the middle of the morning commute.
That gave us ten more precious minutes to complete our frantic last minute preparations for our pour. Les (the driver) was very pleasant to work with and expertly maneuvered the truck into small confined spaces to make our placing of concrete an easier task. He was quick with a joke and a fill up your tote and there was no place he would rather be.
