Installed railing on upper and lower decks. Great company to work with from their sales rep to the install guys. They do excellent work, on schedule; something that is not easy to find around the lake. Service: Installation

Be very careful signing up for a project. Plan to send money prior to start of job. And then be ready for a ton of delays and excuses. You might see your job done 4 months later. And don't call office requesting customer service because they are rude and unresponsive. Lastly, plan to spend an entire day on day of install as they will give you a time and miss that by HOURS! Work they did was good, but not worth the stress and headaches.

Fixed screens for me. Great job. Great customer service. I needed the screens fixed in a rush and they were very accommodating.

Great team, great consulting, great quality, fast turnaround. They came out and helped us pick the right railing for our house. Handrail, fencing around the pool, trash enclosure, and put in an awning. Neighbors have already commented on how good it looks.

Really horrible! New owner Rob is just horrible! Got angry when after a month of calls and texts I can't get a call back I finally called him. He got really mad when I asked if they were taking on new business. I thought perhaps they weren't and that is why no call back it was a sincere question with no inappropriate tone. Not the case after hearing my reason for the question he is still angry so I just ended the call. Called another company and they wer great, don't waste your time with American Sun.

We had over 600ft of powder coated aluminum railing installed at the house the summer of 2011. 5 years later the paint started peeling. I tried many times to get Mike to come and look at the peeling. It's now a year later and I still havnt seen anyone from American Sun Control. I was told they wouldn't cover it. I'm really disappointed. The selling point of going with this company was we wouldn't have maintenance like on wood railing.

If 5 years is all the longer it going last before you have to start painting then I highly recommend going another direction. I don't think the previous owner would have handled it like this. Like I said I'm really disappointed. American Sun Control came highly recommended. We have tried to get Rob and Tony to the house to look at the issue. Neither would come to the house.

After 2 weeks of waiting on Rob and Tony i was told the peeling wouldn't be covered. When the railing was installed we were ask who installed it and how American Sun Control was like to work with. The process of buying and the installation went great. Little did I know 5 years down the road the railing would need repainting. I've never felt like I needed to give a review like this before but when you are given false information just to make a sell it's sad. Now when people ask who did our railing I will be more than happy to fill them in on our experience and encourage them to stay away from American Sun Control.

American Sun Control recently installed locking pool gates around a pool we've built. A couple weeks after the install I noticed that our 3-year-old son was able to open the gate, even when locked with a key. I called American Sun Control and spoke with Steve. He said he'd take care of the issue, but after several weeks stop returning my calls. I then spoke with Pam (the manager) who informed me that the gates were working fine, but my 3 year old wasn't using it properly.

I insisted that the sole purpose of a locked gate is to keep a 3 year old out, if it doesn't do that, the gate doesn't work. Pam became very unprofessional, telling me to keep a better eye on my kids and that when she had young children she, directly quoting her. "I watched my kids". I can't believe the unprofessional ism I just experienced with American Sun Control's staff and management.

I can, to some degree, understand/accept poor quality products and shoddy work but to insult a father who has been trying for OVER A MONTH with repeated unanswered, unreturned phone calls to make sure his locked gate keeps his 3 year old safe is totally unacceptable.

So much to say, love the staff! They have screen rooms awnings and railing. Installers work hard to get the project done in a timely matter and as clean as possible.
