Performed a kitchen floor install that went great, even with some complications that were outside of their and my control. Very accommodating with the whole process, making it very easy and reasonable to pick a material and make it fit the customer's timeline.

Needed a deck or 2. was a homeowner pretending to be a general contractor. Needed a plan and what the heck to get. meet Peter. He was great! Walked me through everything and drew up the plans for me nicely with only a couple edits. The best part is the material was delivered within a day orx3 or payment. no shortage there. Would highly recommend this place. Ended up buying a site to. Can't say enough about Peter, great help.

I own Rafferty Boy's Custom Home Design LLC. I work with Dave. Jackson Lumber is the best place I've gone to for all my building supplies. Incredible service and free delivery. I am never going to Home Depot again!

I was told to take my business else where when I asked why it took over a week to return my call. Save yourself a lot of aggravation and simple don't buy from these arrogant people. They will be out of business soon anyway with the way they treat their customers.

My first and only experience with Jackson Lumber was excellent. This was largely due to the customer service provided by Al Mazza, whose last day -- just found out today -- is today due to retirement. (Best wishes again, Al!) In the spring, I ordered decking for my condo. Al was very helpful and patient with me as he helped me figure out Exactly what I needed for my order since I had never done this before.

Shortly after I placed my original order, I changed my mind and decided to order more boards to do a more thorough deck repai/replacement. Again, Al was very patient, kind, understanding, and helpful to me as he needed to add onto my order. Later in the summer when I discovered that I needed to exchange a few boards that were slightly defective, And replace them in order to finish the project, Al was very accommodating.

He arranged for the boards to be picked up, he applied a credit for those boards to my account, and explained very thoroughly and apologetically that the fact that the replacement and additional Boards I needed were on back order and he wasn't exactly sure when they would be in. He said that he would be in touch with me again when he knew more.

As promised, al followed up with me a few weeks later to make sure that I still wanted the boards. I told him that I did, and he said that again they were still back ordered but he was hoping to see them within the next few weeks. I just received a phone call from Al today telling me that the boards were in and they can be delivered to my home on Tuesday.

Because of my experience, I plan to do more business with this company in the spring for a different project. Al has set the bar for customer service pretty high. I am hopeful that the remaining and/or new employees will provide me with the same stellar customer service that I received from Al Mazza. jp of Fremont, NH

Rude! I guess if you're a homeowner trying to work through a project this is NOT the place to go. Rude and dismissive.

Where do I begin. I ordered my door back in April, arrived in May, great no problem, it was a custom sized door. My installer puts the door in and notices the extensions for a storm door we're never installed. So we check our paperwork and sure as anything they were on our invoice. Call my sales rep at JL and he realized they made a mistake. No problem he said we will have them out to you in two weeks and installed.

Now let's fast forward, it is August and I still don't have them. I would call every two weeks, never would get an answer, left voicemails never a call back. My installer would call and everytime he would get a call back he would receive an email. No apologies nothing. Finally we had enough of this terrible service. I got a call in the morning from my installer and he said you need to call and give your CC # so you can get a $200 dollar refund and I will pick the parts up and install it myself.

So I call and guess what no answer, but I left a vmail and guess what got a call back in two seconds which means he was sitting right next to his phone. He calls me up, no sorry no apology literally just said hi I'm ready for your CC #. I will never use this company again, Oh and I'm installing 3 more doors in my house this year and was planning on using them if it wasn't for this.

Absolute jokes, spent 1600 on a door and they treat customers horrible. The only positive from the whole situation was the manager Peter that I spoke with. He was a good guy and finally started getting me some answers.

I highly recommend Jackson lumber in Raymond New Hampshire. A gentleman named Al Went out of his way to help me order a Louvered door He made sure all the measurements were accurate he was very patient on the phone. The door Was delivered free of charge to my house on time They even carried the door into my garage. the door look good Positive experience from Jackson lumber wish I knew about them sooner.

Home Depot and Lowe's have become a nightmare There mill department is awful The staff awful to have to work with they are so arrogant and very unhelpful. I was recently told by an employee at Lowe's that they cannot even help the customers load heavy items into their vehicles anymore. I had a contractor recommend to me Jackson lumber and I am glad I went there. Great customer service at Jackson lumber And quality Beats Home Depot and Lowe's all day long.

Impossible to get anything done with these people! They forgot a knob on the initial order for kitchen cabinets etc., and it took two months to get around to sending the new one. Later, the slider for the garbage cabinet broke, and this time it took three months to get a new one. When we finally did get the replacement, it was for a totally different drawer than what we asked for.

How hard is it to provide service in a timely and effective manner? I would also note that the material was supposedly in the mid to upper range, but it barks if you as much as look at it sideways. Also, pulling off a piece painters tape - which isn't exactly known for its stickiness - took off the "finish" (actually just a sticker) and brought it right down to the "wood" underneath. Getting that taken care of was yet another issue. Too much trouble with this place. Not worth it!

I always wonder why company truckers drive so recklessly when the company name and logo is displayed all over the vehicle? Anyway, Route 93 southbound exit for 213 at 1:35 PM on the 28th a large JL truck excessively speeding, weaving through traffic and cutting people off left and right. Not a shining example for the company.

I have been wanting to replace my deck floor and railings for a few years, but has been putting it off because I could not make up my mind about what material to use even after repeated discussion with different contractors and numerous visits to different stores and show rooms. Finally, my luck changed when I visited Jackson Lumber Office in Woburn last month when I met Richard Kessel. Richard is one of the rare salesman who is not only super knowledgeable about his business but also able to communicate with the customers effectively.

After I discussed my project with Richard briefly, he recommended the railings from Intex to me. They are well made, practically maintenance free and their looks are the closest to painted wood among all the plastic railings on the market, which is exactly what I wanted, but was not able to find previously! Two days later, Richard placed the order with my contractor, scheduled and tracked the delivery to my house.

The delivery went smoothly, but I found minor defects on 2 caps. I called Richard, he ordered another 2 replacement caps without any problem. Two weeks later, I have a beautiful new deck! The railings look wonderful just as I expected. Thinking back, I would not have the project done so successfully without the help of Richard. For that I am very grateful.

He has been the best salesman I have ever met. He has been honest with me throughout this entire experience, he did not mind to let me compare their prices with the prices of other vendors and gave me room to make my own decision while providing helpful information. Overall, I had a great experience with Jackson Lumber in Woburn. I especially recommend Richard to anyone who like to be treated as any customer should deserve.

I called Richard Kessel at the Woburn office of Jackson Lumber on a Tuesday morning, and was delighted but not surprised that he remembered selling me interior doors in 2016 before Jackson Lumber acquired Barker Lumber. Within a day, he was able to identify the specific door I'd purchased in 2016 and give me an excellent price. My experiences with him in 2016 were very positive - he taught me a lot about door options, and made sure that my daughter and I purchased the right doors for the right locations, at reasonable prices. Couldn't ask for a better experience.

I stopped in today for a few things. All the reps were busy behind the counter talking to each other about their holiday plans and general water cooler talk. I asked if one of them could help me vs ignoring me as I stood in front of them for over a minute without being helped. They couldn't have been more rude and unhelpful. I left my stuff at the counter and walked out. Went to Kamco who were beyond helpful and got me exactly what I needed.

Their show room is a joke too, big, just don't have much of anything. People are rude everywhere and I'm fine of it, just don't give me the sales pitch about how great their customer service is then I receive this treatment.

Jackson has amazing customer service and will make things right no matter what. If you are doing a large project, ask for Gordon Smith as your lumber rep. He will take care of you, even running out small orders (ie, things you forgot) in his own truck so you don't have to stop working and go it yourself.

After doing business with this company for several years and spending hundreds of thousands of dollars per year.they still treat our company horribly. They've repeatedly made errors with delivering the wrong product or incorrectly measuring a job-site but we still stuck with them even though their errors cost us money. When they stuck us with some defective product and I had to fight tooth and nail to get back 65% of the cost of this unused but defective product.that was the final straw for us. There are way too many options out there than to deal with a company who does not understand customer service. Look elsewhere.

Good selection of lumber as well as general hardware. Knowledgeable staff. My only complaint is the hours; since I commute, I'm rarely back in time to run an errand on a weekday (and end up driving to Home Depot instead even though Jackson Lumber is right next door). I've done little/no construction, but was getting lumber to build a bunk bed.

After a little confusion (I don't know the right terms, just the sizes), someone at the counter asked me the right questions to list the type of lumber I needed; and then I picked it up without trouble in the lumber yard. I also got screws, nail plates, hinges, dowel, etc; and they have a selection of tools, and many aisles I didn't make use of. (I initially mistook "Lumber" in their name for meaning that's all they do, but it's not.)
