Excellent customer service! Everyone, and I mean EVERYONE was helpful, courteous, kind. I even asked the manager for a helping hand in allowing me to borrow a few tools, and without hesitation he took the time to lend them to me. I drive an 18 wheeler, and was politely allowed to park in the back of the property for a morning delivery at this location. I'm very impressed at the location's cleanliness and everyone's professional appearance.

They are great for common home repairs, but I would not look to them for specialty items unless you order ahead. I have had one issue with a rental not being available, but only one. I suspect that this is true anywhere. The staff has hit or miss expertise depending on when you go, but again I expect this is true anywhere.

Continue to be utterly impressed with the staff at East Coast Rentals. Nolan did an excellent job selling me a new saw. Not even so much the same as I already knew what I wanted, but the proper way to sharpen abs appropriate tool, and a good education on why the seemingly way overpriced premix can save a lot of headaches down the road. Jason is also extremely experienced and knowledgeable as well. East Coast is lucky to have good people like this working there because they are the reason I keep coming back to buy good quality yard toys;-

Cannot say enough good things about the customer service I received from Danielle in Kitchen Design! My cabinets were brand new when I bought my home last year, but the mitered corners were splitting. Even though I was not the original purchaser of the cabinets, she worked tirelessly on my behalf to ensure that Kemper honored their warranty. All of my damaged doors were replaced thanks to the tireless efforts of Danielle! This is a company I would absolutely do business with in the future!

I bought $300 worth of pipe 4 inch perforated and I had to return some of it I paid cash I had my receipt it was 15 days after I purchased it and it was a big problem the manager wanted to give me a store credit and I did not want a store credit at this point he started rolling his eyes at me telling me this is unbelievable you expect us to give you $285 cash.
East Coast Lumber had no problem taking my money. I was told why would you expect us just to give you cash back and I explained to him because I paid cash I do not have a credit card I had such a hard time I'm all done shopping at East Coast Lumber. Just a heads up if you pay them cash they don't want to part with it

I went in to look at composite decking to refinish my deck today. I was met by the rudest employee I have ever come across in my life. I would say I was greeted by him but he couldn't even say hi till I did first. The level of disrespect he gave me for asking a question was completely unacceptable. I work with the public everyday and would never imagine speaking to someone the way he spoke to me. Because of your rude employee your company lost out on thousands of dollars.

I was there a few weeks ago and sat with a woman in their window and door department about getting replacement parts for my Andersen door - she told me how to measure the door properly and told me to take some pictures and bring it all back and they could look up the product and see if parts were available. So I showed up today to be told they absolutely could not help me as they have not been an Andersen dealer for about 5 years.
When I asked to speak to a manager to make him aware of the situation, I was unsure how she could not have known that they weren't an Andersen dealer, he was too busy to come up and sent someone else who basically agreed it was horrible and shrugged his shoulders - didn't really seem to care at all - that kind of piss-poor customer service will ensure I never shop their again

I have shopped at East Coast for many many years. It is important to support local business. Recently I had my mower serviced and returned. As I had this service performed many times, I thought nothing about it until I started up the mower for the first cut of the season last week. Wheels fell off and within a few minutes the mower caught fire. I know this does not sound positive, but after several phone calls and trips to the Equipment Center, and a polite discussion with Dave and Don, management and I came up with a solution that was fair and solved the issue.
This review is not a 5 as I would definitely have preferred not to go through this aggravation and inconvenience in the first place. That being said, I was pleasantly surprised at how quickly and respectfully the situation was resolved. East Coast did the right thing on this one and I thank them.

The staff there really gave me a feeling they want you to be happy with your purchase. I bought a zero turn mower from them and Eric was easy to work with and responsive through the whole process which made the whole purchase enjoyable. Jeremy and Darryl in the equipment center did a fantastic job handling the whole setup and delivery process. I'd highly recommend ECL for your homeowner needs.

Bought a Stihl Blower from the equipment center and the service was great. I was really uncertain about what model I would need and based-off of my explanation, they provided me with all the information I needed to get the right one. The blower also came ready to run loaded with fuel. I'll be back to buy my chainsaw in the spring.

What a great local business, if you're in this vicinity. For me convenient as it's near grocery, liquor and ATM so it saves the trip to big box, and prices are very competitive. In fact I went today for structural lumber that ended up beating the orange big box slightly, and I was even able to compare online. Highly recommend ECL, if you're in this area. the only drawback is their location, and maybe limited inventory on some items (e.g., they didn't have G8 light bulbs I needed once, but few places do.)

Lumber and building supplies tend to run about 10% less than Home Depot and the selection/quality is usually better. Only once did I get a load of garbage studs from them. They allowed me to return the whole load and I was pleased to see that the next month the 104 5/8 studs had gone up in price but they were also sourced from a different mfg. I'd gladly pay a little extra if it means less headache and better productivity for my finishers.
They also have a good selection of hardware and tools. Some things - like nails, screws, etc. are actually just a bit cheaper than Home Depot. Other things, like spray foam, etc. tend to be higher by about 10% but I'm happy to pay a little extra here and there given what I save on lumber. I also like the service.

Decent hardware place. Definitely doesn't have everything, but the staff is friendly and place is well organized. Prices are about 10% on average more than home depot, however if you shop here a lot, I recommend getting an account (free) so you can get discounts and coupons. If I need the odd item I go there, when I need a bunch of stuff I usually go to home depot to save $. Their wood quality is light years beyond home depot's twisted lumber.

A lumber yard and a hardware store that isn't Home Depot or Lowe's. You can probably find it all here, and you can do it without getting lost inside a huge cavern of a typical home improvement store. They have lots of good stuff here, though the section upstairs looks like the kind of place where you could spend $200K remodeling your kitchen.
I swear, there were guys in suits sitting at computers waiting to help! Back downstairs, everything returned to normal. I bought the stuff I needed and was out of there in no time.
