Services
Seacoast Mills, Inc., was established in 1977 with the sawmill, shop and small storage shed on the property. Over the years, upgrades were made to the sawmill equipment including a band resaw to recover more volume from the logs, 3 low temperature dehumidification dry kilns, a large planer operation and a shavings bagger.
We specialize in hard to find, custom-milled Eastern White Pine. We have many different patterns, grades, widths, and thicknesses along with rough Pine and Eastern Hemlock. We air dry our lumber 60+ days to equalize the moisture content and stresses in the wood before kiln drying in our low temperature dehumidification kilns.
Eastern White Pine began the lumber industry in the United States. It grows best in the cooler northern latitudes, and its botanical range extends from eastern Maine west to Minnesota, and through the Appalachians as far south as Georgia. The early settlers utilized Eastern White Pine for everything from shipbuilding (the tall, straight, large diameter and fairly light weight trees were prized for ships masts), to houses, barns and bridges, to furniture, flooring, siding, boxes and everyday utility items.
We specialize in Eastern White Pine, but have many other quality building supply products available. If you have any questions or are looking for a quality product, please give us a call at 603.778.4604. Our friendly, experienced staff is always willing to assist you find the proper tool or material for the job you have. We look forward to seeing you at our building supply store.

My husband and I have always been loyal customers of Seacoast Mills and recommend them to friends often. We go out of our way to buy their lumber and shavings for our farm. Today my husband who recently broke his back ribs went to buy several bags of shavings, he can not lift anything and is in a lot of pain. He asked the guy to help him lift the bags into his truck and explained the situation.
He was told to go find someone outside. There was no one around and my husband ended up having to put the bags in himself. I was furious when my husband told me this, what happened to customer service and just plain decency. I won't be supporting this business anymore and will get my shavings at the feed store where they will gladly put them in the truck if asked. Very disappointing.

Love supporting local rather than big box stores when an option. This place had everything that I needed to replace some old barn parts that had rotted out. That being said, rudest and most unhelpful customer service I have encountered. Was my first time there, was pointed to multiple locations on a grainy and shitty aerial shot of where to located needed items.
Little to no signage, no yard help, came back to check out and treated with attitude and disrespect from BOB. Likely to use again as they have good lumber, but as a last resort, will probably use other places first!

Manager sent the wrong amount of wood and now refuses to take back or allow us to speak to an owner. Sketchy way to sell extra wood and awful customer service. Then hung up on me. If the owner of this business could get in touch with me @ keith.harmon@gmail.com to rectify I would appreciate it. I assume an owner would care about deceptive business practices, this manager does not.

We were finishing our basement and they had the hardware to build our own barn doors, beautiful rustic lumber for a mantle over our fireplace and used some of it to complete our bar. Very helpful and friendly staff keeps us coming back. Highly recommend this place for that hard to find lumber and other great items to make your house a home!

One of my new favorite places for home building supplies. Especially lumber and metal roofing. Jay A. was extremely helpful and patient. Their selections is excellent, especially if you need dimensional lumber that the other store doesn't normally have. If you have to special order, it only takes a day or two.
