When you choose an Aquarian Pools, you choose to have more than 45 years of experience backing your construction and warranty needs. Aquarian Pools of Columbia was founded in Columbia, South Carolina in 1971 by William M. (Bill) Muller. Bill graduated from The University of South Carolina in 1968. He was an All American swimmer, (awarded in 1967) and attended USC on a full swimming scholarship.

This is the most helpful friendly establishment I've dealt with in my harrowing journey to install and maintain an inground pool! Tom was extremely knowledable and helpful in analyzing a sample of my pool water to determine what I needed to do to resolve the issues that my current pool servicer created. I deeply appreciate their williingness to help and share their knowledge - and they just couldn't be more friendly!

Forgot to do pictures.again. It's a swimming pool business so just use your imagination Yesterday I had ordered some pool parts and Tom said he would call to let me know the parts were in. As promised I got a call at 9AM. Upon arrival I was greeted by THREE greeters, one Human and TWO adorable canines. Lucy and a Pug. Very nice to see and of course I HAD to give some ear scratches and belly rubs. Can't recall a more welcoming and friendly greeting and atmosphere (except for TD Bank who are VERY canine friendly)

I live in Hopkins, SC and make the drive to Irmo, SC when I have pool needs (i.e. water samples, etc.). I could go to a pool store closer to my home, but I've had much better experiences/service from Aquarian Pools. My only complaint is that the phone system is automated and it is hard to get a human on the phone.

I called 10 times over a period of 2 weeks in an attempt to get someome out to do some minor repairs on my pool that Aguarian installed in 1998. I noticed the the repair/service line is never answered and I left a voice mail each time. The service manager called me back once and said someone was coming out that day and I waited but no one ever showed.
The new pool sales line always picks up immediately and a new guy took my call and gave a message for the service manager to call me back but he never did after that one no show experiance. The 10th time I called the new pool sales line the guy got frustrated and said he had given all my messages to the service manager and there was nothing moore he could do. I will call another pool company tomorrow and never bother Aquarian pools again

I came into the store today not knowing too much about pools. We moved from ct to sc and moved into a home with a pool. I'm not comfortable with caring for a pool but I left confident because of Tom who had helped me. He was very patient with me. I didn't feel like I was annoying him or anything with my probably obvious questions. He was awesome. I will not go anywhere else because of him now.

We have had a terrible experience over our first year of having our pool. During the process they were attentive and responsive. Once the job was paid in full they stopped responding. As items broke or stopped working they sent a guy out once who didn't know how to diagnose the issues. Upon follow up they did not send anyone else. The never configured the lights with our Pentair system so none of our remote control functions work, the heater doesn't work and shows error codes, pump has been leaking badly since install, went out a few times and as of this week will not work, this has caused water to flood in the back of our yard, the granite on the hot tub is not secured properly, and we constantly have to fill it up with water.
We have made employees and the owner himself aware with emails, texts, and calls all with no response. We are forced now to get a lawyer involved because they refuse to respond or help in any way fix items that are under warranty for a very expensive pool.

Apparently residential service is not their priority. I called on 3 consecutive days asking for someone to schedule an appointment to look at a pump motor issue. The team appears to not be in touch with who is working or why no one will respond. I reached out to the owner by email ( one of his employees said that would get the fastest response) but no response yet.
I asked for recommendations on other companies that would be reputable and they did give me a couple of names. So I called the competitor, and in less than 24 hours the other company is here making repairs.

After recently moving to the area, I was sent to Aquarian Pools by my new neighbor. Easy to work with, great product and now my family is set up for the summer to come. I did shop around but no one does the customization that Aquarian does. With a big investment, it helped knowing that Aquarian has been doing something right since they've been around over 40 years.
