Allied Concrete Company is committed to providing high quality concrete, masonry, and hardscape products throughout Central Virginia. With an emphasis on premium products, impeccable service, and a highly educated team of professionals Allied Concrete strives to create synergy between all parties involved in residential and commercial construction projects.
Essentially modified concrete blocks that become living reefs as oyster larvae attach to them and grow. They reduce the impacts of future storms, provide habitat for wildlife and improve water quality. In 2007, Allied Concrete Company partnered with The Nature Conservancy / Virginia Coastal Reserve & The Nature Conservancy / South Carolina chapter to focus on finding a solution to this problem.
The service life of a concrete driveway is, on average, about 50-60 percent longer than its asphalt counterpart. For many, the standard light gray surface offers considerable curb appeal, although creative design options exist. Since the embodied energy costs of a concrete driveway are lower, it is a more environmentally friendly paving solution.
In 2013 we launched Guardian Eagle with the belief that people are the most important ingredient to a strong safety culture, and that safety is a responsibility shared by all of us. Guardian Eagle is the framework that this safety culture is built on, integrating safety into everything we do. So with each task, new or routine, we continuously evaluate to see if there is room for improvement.
