Tileco Distributors-Monterey

When ordering, I was told I could return unused tile but when I came back to do that, I was told you can only return full boxes. I wish they would have been honest and I would have only of ordered what I needed. Prices ate also very high!

We have been building an ADU to rent out on our house, and I have been shopping around a lot for tile for the bathroom and kitchen. The employees at tileco were extremely helpful and patient, I was in many times trying to pick colors and they never made me feel like "here she is again" haha. Support this local business! Highly recommend this place over other tile stores in town. We got our tiles fast and they are beautiful and great quality.

If your remodeling, this is the one place in Santa Barbara to get all your tile from. We were referred from our tile contractor to go in and pick out our tiles. The sales staff/ in-house design were wonderful to work with. We did two bathroom remodels back to back so I was able to work closely with Lourdes on one and Janice on the other. Just make sure to make appointments, they are following all COVID precautions, so appt. is needed for 1 on 1 in the showroom.

Again this is the one stop shop, from in stock Italian beautiful porcelain tile to the unique had crafted tiles. The staff is definitely prepared to help you go big or stay small on the project! Can't wait to work on the next project " the kitchen"

What can I say about the wonderful people over at TileCo that everyone in the Tile industry already doesn't know. Everyone at TileCo has always been very kind and welcoming. When you walk in to the store you definitely feel the positive energy and can see the passion that they have for tile. It is always a pleasure to visit and in fact I always look forward it. If you are in need of remodeling, big or small, TileCo is the place to go. They will put passion into your project and you won't be disappointed.

I've done two homes with Tileco. I have always found the people working there to be extremely knowledgeable, helpful, and kind. The owners are warm and inviting, as is the showroom. The selection is diverse so you can choose to be bold or conservative, modern or traditional, etc. Their prices have always been competitive too. Why go to Home Depot and get a limited selection and ordinary. Tile is an investment you will live with for years.

You should have what you love. Our Santa Barbara home had some legacy tile that we needed to match after some construction demo. Tileco went above and beyond finding what we needed. exactly. Luck, or experience and great customer service? We also bought all our tile for our NY home from Tileco (kitchen floor and backsplash, and bathroom floor to ceiling). Tileco helped us zero on the "look" we wanted, found nearby distributors, and arranged for delivery when we needed it.

Any problems we had with tiles that were not "right", they took care of it. I noticed in two other reviews someone was grousing about parking and COVID precautions. I've never had a parking problem, even when my wife and I met there in separate cars. It can get busy early in the morning when contractors are making their morning run for supplies.

Other than that, it's a non-issue. My experience at Tileco was pre-COVID. I have no doubt it has impacted their operations as it has all of us. Anyone who objects to essential safety precautions for themselves, let alone other customers and employees, needs an anger management.

Tile Co. Is without a doubt the best tile distributors in Santa Barbara county. They have a lot of material in stocked for installers. They always have the best tooling available for tile installers and DIYers. The show room Is simply amazing and the front of the house is so friendly and helpful. They did help me design my bathroom and kitchen and I love it.

Come in ask for Giana, Lizet as a matter of fact just call In Advance and who ever helps you will make you feel like family. But I would recommend going in on Friday, they have the best free donuts : And when you go, tell them Ortiz Tile sent you. Hands down the best!

If I have a homeowner that has ideas but are not sure about what they want, the team at Tileco will hone their ideas and materialize a solid project. This family owned/run business makes it so easy to keep it local.

Everyone was super helpful at Tileco. We came in quite a few times to decide on tile and Lourdes was amazing. She took her time with us and showed us a variety of tiles which made our decision even easier to make. I would definitely recommend Tileco. Their show room is amazing and their customer service is amazing.

As an interior design company we rely heavily on having amazing vendors. Tile Co is without a doubt our BEST and FAVORITE vendor. We honestly could not be as efficient in our business without them. They are always incredible to work with, such a wonderful team especially Gina, Liz and Denise! They truly make our day when we visit! They are also incredibly respectful and helpful to our clients when we send them in without us.

We always know they will be taken care of. They source the best products too! Whenever new products come in they immediately reach out to us with suggestions; it's such a relief because they know our style and what we like. They are always quick to get us samples and if they don't have them there then they order them for us, get us pricing right away and when we place ordered they inform us when everything is in and ready for pick up. We joke it's our Disneyland; happy people and beautiful things to look at.

Super rude sales people, zero parking, just a mess do not go here! For a small chain business I had higher hopes, they are honestly terrible. The sales lady who "helped" me was named Liz- could not be more dismissive or rude- one word answers, in a hurry like she had somewhere to be and I was annoying her then I turn around & she's just snickering in the corner with a male coworker. Gross TERRIBLE service better off shopping online. SB peeps don't go here!

We tried to come check out the tile, they told us we couldn't come in without an appointment. But then they tell us we could come inside to make an appointment. There was literally nobody in the store besides the two women working there. Hm, Doesn't make a whole lot of sense to me. We wanted to support a local business but ended up going straight back to Home Depot and bought our backsplash there.

Been using them for 20 years now.extremely knowledgeable and staff is low turn over so they really know their stuff. These guys are as sincere as they come.! We hesitated to go to Tileco even though we did our last tile shopping here 10 years ago.because we thought it would be expensive. But, we made an appointment and were totally impressed with the design ideas and tile offerings.and the price was not that bad! It may be a little more than the big box but there are knowledgeable people that are actually there to help. Hector was our helpful salesperson and has been super helpful with our follow up order. We decided to go with the a super cool tile plan for our kitchen and dining room (way better than the bland idea we went in with). Thank you so much!

This place is a joke-ordered, paid called to confirm my order was going to be ready on the day I was told. Kept getting the runaround, to make a long story short making excuses the product didn't get on the truck somebody dropped the ball etc. etc. go somewhere else terrible customer service. If you have a timeline don't go here chances are you won't get what you need when you're expecting it.

I am a professional Kitchen & Bath Designer so tile and tile selection is a huge part of my daily life. I choose to start all my tile shopping at TileCo because the staff is knowledgeable, friendly, helpful and they have great prices! I highly recommend stopping by and seeing their showroom. They have a huge selection and great vignettes for samples!

Lizette at Tileco was a huge help with my recent order of tile for my kitchen backsplash. There were several hiccups involved in getting the tile delivered to OR (rather than Santa Barbara). Lizette went above and beyond in trying to solve the problems. I am really grateful to her. She also has a fantastic sense of style. Overall, the selection at Tileco is really vast and the prices are fair. Tileco and Lizette have my highest recommendation.

Came in here to look at tile options for my fireplace great experience as soon as I walked in. The ladies here were so friendly and helpful allowed us to walk through without being 'bugged' (like the other places we went to today) but we're attentive when needed. I like them so much, I came back and ordered the liners/domes for the fireplace and the enhancer/sealer. We could have possibly gotten it cheaper elsewhere but with the great customer service received I want to give them my business. Thank you ladies!

We went here for new tiles for a bathroom renovation in a rental unit in Montecito. Everyone there has been real friendly and very professional. We took one of their referrals (they gave us three) for a tiler and are really happy with his beautiful work.

Amazing Tiles that reflect in the prices. You want something unique that your friends will talk about, go here, you want something you can afford go to Home Depot or Lowes. Sometimes finding someone to help you is difficult, but you can bide your time looking at the cool tile work getting ideas on how to remodel your bathroom. Once you get help, there are plenty of suggestions and possibilities.
