Texture Plus offers online ordering. Except they don't. And they withhold a host of pertinent information until a day after your order has been submitted. If your project is time-sensitive, doing business with Texture Plus simply isn't an option. I ordered brick panels and opted for expedited shipping. The order process was like any other online order: select your items, checkout, provide your payment/shipping info, etc.
The next day, I received an email asking me to sign an attached order confirmation, print, and fax (!) it back to them in order to complete my (I thought) already completed order. I don't understand the purpose of placing an online order. Why delay the process with technology from last millennium? Why not at least warn customers that there will be a delay, and they'll need to get in their wayback machine to complete the order? Furthermore, they indicated that there is a 10-15 business day shipping window.
No mention of a 2-3 business week shipping window was made at any point during the order or checkout process. None. If it takes that long to ready an order, fine. But that's a crucial detail to which customers must be privvy.

This company manufactures an amazing product, that is extremely easy to install, for the person who is proficient doing even the most basic of home repairs. It is easily cut with a saw or drilled. The density of the panels gives it true rigidity and strength. The calk they sold me for the panels is amazingly realistic, totally looks like real cement, with a sandy grit in it. The glue to adhere it to the wall combined with screws secures it to the wall extremely well. Took me 2 days to do my project. Not too bad, for a my first job.
