In 1977, Gary Polzin bought "The Glass Van". The Glass Van's only service was mobile auto glass, serving the Northfield & Faribault area. At that time the business consisted only of a van, a few auto glass tools and two weeks of training. In 1979, Gary started expanding his services. Customers were so impressed by the quality, care and attention to detail he gave his auto glass work, that they requested other glass services.

We repair; screens, storm windows, putty-in windows, thermopanes, mirrors, shower doors, glass tops for any type of furniture and we do specialty pattern cut glass also. We do; new store fronts, mirrors, one way mirrors(for privacy in an office), glass desk tops, glass shelves, door closers, emergency service (24/7) for late night vandelism, etc. We do: shower doors, mirrors, glass shelves, glass for cupboards, glass cut to size for any furniture (for protection), etc.

From the moment Brooke answered my phone call to Polzin Glass, my entire experience with Brooke and Jason was nothing short of spectacular! Brooke listened to my issue (wind lifted my patio umbrella and table, causing the glass table top to shatter when it landed) and answered my questions concisely and honestly. The repair could be done and done well, and she clearly explained what the cost could be, too. Knowing the repair would cost less than replacing the table, we moved forward with the repair. Timing caused me to be several hours from Faribault, so communication was very important to me. Brooke and Jason were always engaged with me throughout the entire process.
Their team worked to help get the repair done, done efficiently, done timely and done on budget. They went above and beyond my expectations, to get my patio table repaired. Living in the SW suburbs and working in Faribault, I travel a lot everyday. Most weeks I am in Northfield for business 1-3 times. I dropped all my screens for my house off to be redone at Polzin glass in NFLD. They were all original screens from a 78 split & needed help badly. They finished up with them a couple of days later, but i wasn't able to pick them up on the day I wanted.
They told me a few of the guys would be in the Savage area replacing a shower door for a customer and would gladly drop them off about 6:00 PM on the 6th (july). I was just getting started taking out an old and putting in a new Patio door when they arrived. I was having problems as the framing was rotted and needed replacing. Yep, some of you might just get the stuff & know what to do but I'm not always that guy.
These guys ran to Home Depot for me got what I needed to do the job and stayed until 9:30 helping until it was finished no charge. I couldn't believe it. All I can say is if you were wondering if great customer service is still around IT IS Just call Polzin glass in NFLD!
