Abysmal customer service. Bill Owens was my sales rep and it was like pulling teeth to get a stove installed, despite my being prepared to take a more expensive stove than I wanted to buy because that was what was available. I am still owed my outside air kit and enamel touch up kit that I have already paid for, in full, MONTHS later. I cannot get any response via email, and any time I've called looking for this guy I get the runaround from unhelpful people. I will not being doing business with Tate's ever again.

Interacted with 3 employees. Everyone was very nice. Guy at counter knew what I was looking for right away.

Very knowledgeable staff. They have a vast assortment of fireplace products, stone, brick etc. With the ability to turn key adding a fireplace to a new or existing home they offer great service at a great price.

Jim Sanders is amazing. I went to Tate's because of Guy and I am glad I did. Mike helped us pick out the best logs and Jim worked as hard as I've seen someone on the installation and repair. Jim is the most conscientious person I've dealt with.maybe ever. Thank you Jim, Mike and Guy!

I had a flat tire and I stayed there until help came. They didn't ask me to leave. They were good about it.

Tate Builders did an absolutely fantastic job repairing my chimney and replacement my entire fireplace. The work was extensive and my family and I were amazed at how efficient they worked. Within two days, 95% of the work was done! Plus, the men were kind and friendly around my family and that was very surprising. I couldn't recommend Tate Builders more highly!

To deliver make sure you enter off Dixie hwy though it doesn't look like a tractor trl entrance and go around to the back to access the dock. Tight place but they unload fast.

I have asked this company to do some chimney repair work for my mom who is 76. At first a man came over and took a look the chimney, he left saying someone else needed to come back. Every time I do a follow up call to see when we will get a quote or information on a solution, we think maybe they forgot, then they scramble to recommit, then weeks go by and no phone calls nobody comes to the house or calls.

They keep promising that someone will be in touch, but we have been inquiring since last October 2019. They just don't seem interested in doing business with us. They seem like nice people and mean well, but I feel I have bent over backwards to initiate a decent job to no avail.

Great guys. Really informed, willing to work with us, and great products. They stand behind their stoves and work on existing stoves. Not a sell and good bye company. They actually do work.!
