Gutter People Of WNY

These guys replaced my gutters quickly and efficiently. John was excellent with recommending exactly what needed to be done and gave me a great price. I am planning on calling The Gutter People of WNY again to replace the rest of my gutters in the future!

Critical: Punctuality Scheduled an estimate for 10am, 10:30 I call to see if I made a mistake in the time, nope Salesman says system issues sorry for the missed appointment, I'll be there at 11:30am - 11:38am no salesman, can not and will not work with a company that can not be on time! It's the basics of business, I will enjoy not working with you!

Critical: Professionalism Public health and safety issues. They refuse to wear masks or be safe, they even advertise this with pride on their business. No wonder their estimates are sky high. Even if their prices were okay, a gutter isn't worth dying for.

I called them to do a gutter repair, but it turned out to be a much larger job than I thought. There was more that just damage to the gutter. The soffit and eaves were really rotted out. I needed to have the entire overhang system repaired. It was a bit of a shock to me but I was so impressed by the work that was done to repair my house. It was so quick and it looks great. I am planning on having the other side of the house done in the spring.

I needed gutter installation all the way around the house, they were prompt in getting out to me for a quote, they arrived exactly when they said they would. Only to find that I had some underlying roof issues. They referred me out to a roofing company, who were also excellent, the repair was made and the gutter guys came back out the next week. Kevin Nowak is extremely responsive, always answered me within minutes of texting him.

His crew is extremely courteous and they cleaned up very well after themselves, leaving me a beautiful full set of brand new gutters perfectly straight and wonderfully functional. Thank you all for your professionalism and your workmanship, I thoroughly appreciate your whole crew and will use you again in the future and refer you to my friends.

The estimator came out to the house to give me a quote for the gutter work that needed to be done. He was very nice and said he would get a quote to me via email (confirmed my email address at that time) that night or the next morning. That was a week and a half ago. Typical contractor, if they don't want to take on the job they just ghost you. I am sure there are more professional companies out there, I would pass on this company.

The Gutter People "Gutter Helmet" gave me a quote and then backed out on it a month later. The owner "Nowak" didn't care what a hardship it was on me. He was going on vacation for 2 weeks, so he lied and said my house was too high. How can a company that does gutters & roofs tell me my house is too high. It's just a two story home in Kenmore. He said he would check it out when he got back from vacation. I never heard from him again. I used Bauer, they did an incredible job at a reasonable price. Call Bauer.

The Gutter People of WNY are just that "Gutter". I contracted with this company to clean my gutters and downspouts (on a 2,000) square foot house with oversized new gutters installed in 2016. The gutters were not very dirty but I felt it was worthwhile to have them cleaned. Needless to say I was charged more than $800.00. The receptionist I spoke with (Jesse) was outstanding and the personnel sent to my home seemed satisfactory.

You need to understand that you will be charged an $85.00 non-refundable service fee just to schedule service. I signed a contract with this company online. Because of my own oversight, they kept my credit card info without ever providing me with an invoice and just debited my account for a total of $746.94 plus the $85.00 service fee. After my account was debited I received an invoice in my email account that was marked "paid" After review of the invoice I noticed I was charged for 4 hours of work done by two men (Steve and Brent).

You will be charged $85 per hour for each worker. I was charged $640.00 for 8 man hours. Now how could it take 8 man hours to clean gutters on a 2,000 square foot house? First of all, only one worker (Steve) arrived to clean my gutters. When he was more than halfway done he said he needed a taller ladder so he called Brent to bring one. Brent stayed here for the rest of the time but really did not have to do much.

The total time spent at my house was 3 hours not four hours. After speaking withe the reception person the accountant reduced my bill $300.42 to $446.94 plus service fee. The following day the owners son came to my house to give me an estimate for very minor carpentry work. He arrived more than an hour late but said he would send me an estimate the following day.

After 1 week I still have not received an estimate which is good because I would never hire his company again for any reason and if you do you should have your head examined. This company is very poorly managed and a RIP-OFF. This company should pay me for all the time I spent on the phone with them and with my bank in order to dispute their charge. Buyer Beware!

We had our gutters replaced back in the fall and The Gutter People did a phenomenal job. The gutter look beautiful and have held up great with all the snow and ice we've gotten. They were installed in the timeframe outlined in the contract. The crew was in and out within a few hours and left no mess. I would highly recommend the services of this company to anyone!
