Tried to have them come out for a fairly large project, but couldn't schedule an appointment because the estimators don't work past 4pm, and the girl on the phone can't comprehend the need to communicate with management to make accommodations.( I work full time and go to school) for a later appointment. If that's too much to ask, I'm certainly not going to spend 20-30k with them.

Tyler and the entire Cortese team were polite, responsive and attentive to what I wanted accomplished. I was pleased with my time spent communicating with them. I was looking for a 8x10 sunroom replacement, with some electrical ran and flooring put in with paint on the back wall. The foundation was already in place. Ultimately we could not reach an agreement.

I just felt over 25k was excessive for what was considered a simple job for them. I wish I could of met their labor costs, as I have no doubt the results would of been excellent. Thank you Cortese for your professional responses.

We had to reach out multiple times to even speak to someone. When I did get someone on the phone she acted as if she was being inconveniened, they couldn't schedule someone to come out for an estimate for 3 weeks. Then you are scheduled 3 weeks later to review the estimate at their showroom. Only after you agree THEN they will schedule your job. next year!

My sister contracted with this company to turn a sunroom into a 4-seasons room. The review I just posted detailed the difficulties she was having with having the job successfully completed. I greatly appreciate the prompt response from the company explaining aspects of the situation that I was not aware of, as well as emphasizing their commitment to quality work and customer satisfaction.

I will be visiting next month and will be happy to change this to a five-star review, hopefully with pictures, as we enjoy her new home addition. The completed room is just wonderful. Pictures are included.

I called Cortese because we were considering converting a bedroom into a master bath and walk in closet. Phil came to the house to take measurements and discuss the project. A few weeks later, we met at his office where he reviewed every detail of the project while displaying a computer rendering of the project. We couldn't have asked for more! Phil covered every detail and answered all questions.

The experience was amazing. Unfortunately, we decided that we will not go forward with the project but, if we had, we would have chosen Cortese hands down! We still have contractors that have not yet returned our call in over 3 months. There are contractors who came, saw and measured and said they'd submit an estimate but never did. We wound up with the choice of two contractors but absolutely, unequivocally would have chosen to work with Cortese.

From the very start to this very early finish, I just cannot speak highly enough of the wonderful experience we had meeting and speaking to Phil. There is no doubt in my mind that this company makes its clients the highest priority. If you're on the fence, choose Cortese! They'll make your vision happen!

We hired Cortese Construction Services to remodel our Kitchen and perform some other repairs to our dining room. The service from Cortese was impressive from the start. Sheldon was our assigned salesperson and he worked with us in our home to find out exactly what we wanted to have done. Then he prepared a number of options so we could get what we wanted to have done within our budget.

He worked with the estimator, Tyler, in order to help us to complete our project within our budget. And then the project managers Dillon and Vinnie worked to finalize the details on our project before the work began so that everything would be in place when it started. Then Ryan as the project foreman and the individual who performed most of the work did an outstanding job not only with the quality of the work but the speed and his general attitude towards the job.

He wanted it done as if it was his own home and he wanted us to be happy. Dillon and Ryan were even able to offer some design advice and gave suggestions that we had not thought of. They always arrived on time, the materials were always made available through their logistics personnel and the work was completed on time. They even were able to handle some last-minute scheduling adjustments that we made to fit our own schedule.

We had never hired anyone to do this kind of work or to this extent in our home and frankly I was worried when we were beginning the process. But the individuals at Cortese construction services did such an outstanding job that all of my worries were put to the side and now we really enjoy our kitchen!

My husband and I hired Cortese construction for a bathroom addition. We decided to go with Cortese because although they charge top dollar we had heard great reviews and we wanted the job to be done right. Ultimately the bathroom looks great now but it was a process (10weeks). We were told it would be two weeks, when We confronted the manager Brian Alexander on week 8 he barely let us get a word in about our concerns.

He told us the project took much longer because we added built in shelves in the shower, yet they did not even start the shower until week 6 or 7. We did also need drywall done in our bedroom due to the spray foam insulation we had done but to expect 2 weeks and end up with your house torn up for 10 weeks is extremely frustrating. I am not sure if it is their company as a whole or if it was just the men working our project but throughout the job we felt that the progress was extremely slow (most days they were here 8 hours and my husband I would go to look at the progress and we would just shrug our shoulders confused at what they did all day), they were sloppy and clean up was not great.

On their last day here we went into the bathroom and immediately found a dozen flaws that were not fixed just due to laziness. I would have thought for the amount they charged us that the job would have been perfect but it seemed that they didn't even take pride in their work. Luckily the project manager agreed this was not right and a man named Billy came to fix these things. Billy did a great job.

He was very efficient. I am overall really disappointed in the amount of money we spent because I feel that a smaller company or independent contractor would have taken much more pride in their work.

We are extremely pleased with our bathroom remodel! From start to finish, everyone we dealt with (Dominic, Dillon, Ryan, and Rebecca) was friendly, knowledgeable, polite and considerate. Ryan, our project foreman, was punctual, hard working, and thorough. He was extremely organized and left our bathroom (and garage) clean and organized everyday. He worked fast and did everything he could to minimize the time our shower was out of service. Dillon was friendly and kept us updated with the progress of the work! We are so happy in the future and would definitely use Cortese in the future for our home improvement needs!

We hired the Cortese team to add a new room to our house and to completely replace our old "out dated" kitchen, and we could not be happier with the results. From the very beginning to the very end the Cortese team is there to help you through some of the rough spots and offer advice based on their vast experience. All projects of this size will have unexpected things pop up, and for each unexpected item the Cortese team discussed with us before proceeding, so there are no surprise up charges without our approval. One last thing; they are nicest group of workers you could ever hope for.
