All tube assemblies used on tracked military vehicles, medium to heavy trucks, turbine engines, aircraft, diesel engines, automatic transmissions, tractors, automotive and specialized vehicles. We also use the many outside services available in the greater Detroit area. Over a thousand different types and sizes of stainless steel, inconel, carbon steel, aluminum, brass, copper and titanium are stocked to Military, AMS, and ASTM standards.
Clarence Woolf founded Woolf Aircraft Products, Inc. as the country began building aircraft at the start of World War II. As one of only 200 certified aircraft welders, he began teaching many of the welders used to produce the B-24 bombers at Willow Run. From these he chose the best, and they began welding when they would come off shift.
Woolf Aircraft Products can bend a large variety of materials including but not limited to, Aluminum, Brass, Copper, Inconel, Chrome Moly, Copper Nickel, Carbon Steel, Titanium, and Stainless Steel tubes. Our machinery is capable of bending a range of outer diameters in sizes from 0.0625" up to 8" and everything in between to serve production volumes of any size (see our die list for bend tooling we have on hand). Tube bending is a collective term that describes a variety of forming processes that can permanently bend or change the shape of tubing or pipe.
