The KutRite story begins with brothers Ralph and Omero Neri, the sons of Italian immigrants that came to America to work in the copper mines of Michigan's Upper Peninsula. As many children who grew up in the 1930s Depression Era, they sought a better life, Ralph as a mechanic and tool maker and Omero as an engineer. And their aspirations led them to the bustling manufacturing center of Detroit. In the 1940s, Detroit grew into a major manufacturing center, spurred by automobile and wartime engineering and production.

The KR13 (13-inch cutting path) is the epitome of heavy-duty scarifier machinery. It offers approximately 423 pounds (with drum) of centrally located quality engineering that refuses to "jump out of the cut." It is offered in three models: The 11-horsepower gas-driven, the 13-horsepower gas-driven and the 5-horsepower electric.
The Kut-Rite TKO-2513 Hydraulic Scarifier Attachment is the most powerful scarifier/planer on the market. Combined with a skid steer machine, the TKO-2513 weighs in at 476 pounds (with drum) and is fully equipped with a bi-directional hydraulic motor. This machine should be considered for extremely fast surface preparation, heavy removal of concrete, asphalt, thermoplastic lines, paints, coatings, trowel marks, curled joints, sidewalk trip hazards and the like.The TKO-2513 features a long-life bi-rotational hydraulic motor that produces an up or down cut.
The "Next Generation" KRXVI Tungsten Carbide-tipped scarifier cutter takes the Full Face Cutter one step further and features 16 hex-tipped carbide inserts focusing on superior finish and removal speed when removing pavement lines and prepping for inlays. The KRXVI was developed with an improved brazing technique for the hex- shaped inserts, making them stronger with a longer life than your standard TCT carbide-tipped cutter. The KRXVI also offers an integrated hub that eliminates the need for spacers on your scarifier drum.
Carbide-tipped scarifier cutters, including the "Next Generation" KRXVI Scarifier Cutter, will provide a surface like no other cutter available on the market today.
