Starting in a 50' x 100' chicken coop-like building near Elgin's Historic Watch District, Casco grew into a multi-faceted manufacturing facility with multiple expansions and evolution throughout its history.
Casco Casement Windows are hinged on either side of the window and open to vent on the reverse side of the hinges. The unique feature of the extended sash into the air allows casement windows to catch cool winds and direct it to the interior of a room. Casco Casement Windows has been designed to stand alone with style and beauty or to be placed in a grouping to create a spectacular wall of light.
Casco Double Hung Windows include two moving sashes that slide up and down. Both sashes will remain at any height allowing variable ventilation control and also tilt into the home for quick cleaning. Since double hung windows do not swing outward, they are perfect additions for walkways, driveways, or porches.

After seeing how nice the black storm windows looked on our daughter and son-in-law's 100+ year old home, we decided to try the white storms over our 15 year old Pella windows for extra efficiency and noise reduction. We had excellent on-line communication from Nick and we drove to Elgin twice to pick up our windows. If the customer measures perfectly, the windows will be the perfect size.
The only drawback so far is that the windows are difficult to raise up and down. There may be a simple solution to this. The staff who helped load our windows did a fine job as well. We would recommend Casco to our friends and family.

First time at Casco South Elgin looking for a window part. Great display of products. Windows and doors (they manufacture) no middleman or semiskilled associate to guide you. The real deal. Went home picked up my "supervisor".and she was impressed. We are working on two entry doors right now. The guy that helped us knew his stuff. Thanks Nick.

After contacting the company they came out and remade some of the windows which now open and close. My landlord recently had storm windows from here installed and they're awful. The windows are difficult to open in a good case and impossible to open in a bad case. I wouldn't want these installed on my residence.

Garbage windows, had them installed in our new home in 2001. They leaked, the wind blew through them. We called and called. No one would help resolve the problem. Now I have rotted windows that look horrible. These people are the absolute worst in the industry. They get your money and gone. My home was a custom built home, not a cookie cutter home. We contacted casco years about this problem, they tried to blame the installer. The builder is a class A builder. These windows, have been trouble since day one

I own a glass installation company and have been using Casco products for 20 plus years, I was first introduced to them through my old boss and have continued to use them throughout my entire career. I have purchased storm doors, storm windows, french doors, patio doors and insulated glass from them and have always been satisfied! The staff is very knowledgeable, super friendly and they always have new and exciting products for my customers to choose from! Terrible windows. Seal broke on over half the windows, they replaced the windows but WE were responsible for all of the labor. Even the guys that came in to replace the windows said they couldn't believe the customer had to pay to replace them. Really, there are many other window companies, use one of them.

Casco Windows were installed in my new home in 2001. I don't believe a worse window could be manufactured if it were the intent to make a bad window. During the winter the insides are caked with ice. The metal strips on the exterior are falling out. There are drafts coming through the panes. It is now going to cost me as much as $41,000 to replace this junk. If you think this is some type of joke drop a note to me at sfagentjim@aol.com and I will fill you in. Beware of Casco unless you like throwing money away.

We purchased casco windows and doors as an upgrade when we built our home. After two years all the window seals started to fall out, they are drafty in the winter and you can see daylight and feel air around all the doors. When I called to see if they could come out and look at the windows the told me they don't warranty the seals only the glass, I couldn't believe it! Needless to say we are working on replacing all of our windows and doors with a company who stands behind their product. I do not recommend this manufacturer.

Casco windows are the shame of American manufacturing! My condo builder installed these windows and almost every unit had Casco come out under the warranty to adjust and repair their lousy product. I live on the ninth floor and the repairman was afraid of heights. They were never able to fix anyone's (of the 63 units in our building) windows simply because they are so poorly made. Actually I felt bad for the servicemen as there was little they could do. Never ever buy this product or you'll definitely be sorry.!
