Can't say enough how awesome Highway 55 has been! Everything ran seamlessly, from order, to delivery/pickup, through the party, and return. Even though it was June and wildly busy, the team was friendly, organized, and helpful. They went above and beyond to train me to use the equipment I rented, answer all my questions, and provide friendly service. I can't say enough how pleased I was with their service, and I look forward to working with them again in the future.

Absolutely top notch experience renting a 20ft enclosed trailer for a long distance move of items from Las Vegas back to Minnesota. It was cheaper to rent the trailer and drive it out there empty and then back then to rent a Uhaul out there. The rental desk staff, check out and check in staff made the process extremely easy and painless. The trailer was in great condition and we were provided 2 spares for the 3500 mile round trip. Would recommend them highly for sure! Thanks Hwy 55 rental!

A great place to rent a piece of equipment you most likely don't own yourself. They have just about anything you need. I rented a machine to aerate my lawn. Worked well for the hour and a half I used it. No hassle to rent and no hassle to return it again. Great people to work with!

The piece of equipment that I rented didn't work for my application. I felt I was misled about what the machine could do. After leaving the rental center and bringing the equipment back within a half hour after discovering that it wouldn't work, I was charged for a full 4 hours of rental. When I asked if there was anything that could be done with the price, they quickly told me, sorry, that's the minimum price for renting that equipment.

The sales staff doesn't present the same level of customer service in which you would expect from a service provider. Home Depot is just down the road- better service and better price!

The staff here are always awesome to work with. Yard guys are always friendly, professional and knowledgeable. Gary at the front desk has a great sense of humor. The prices are too high, but since they're the only player in the west metro, options are limited. If the prices were better I'd give 5 stars.

Equipment didnt work after spending 4hrs setting it up, trying to figure out what was wrong and getting it back and forth from their location. They obviously did not check to see if it was working properly despite telling me "we check it everytime", this even AFTER I had them test it on their property and they told me the blade was dull and would not cut. Ok, sure. Didn't even apologize, only offered to not charge me or rent out another one of their machines. Um, sure, I just spend 4hrs which equals $$$ wasting my time with you. I don't expect much other than I am sorry about that, but couldnt even get that. If you like wasting time and renting shoddy equipment, shop here.

I've been here twice to get assistance and they are among the least helpful people I know. If you enjoy talking to old white guys who cant be bothered to actually try to help, this is the place for you! There's a reason there are so many 1 star reviews. You've been warned.

I've used Highway 55 Rental flawlessly for years. I used to be a Catering Director & they were my preferred rental company. Their staff is down to earth, get it done people. I love that about them. I've worked with them on pipe & drape set-ups, chair rentals for wedding ceremonies, cotton candy machines, Carnival games, you name it. They have always provided me with personalized service, never feeling like I'm lost in the shuffle when it's their busy season (summer).

This past August we rented a trailer to haul our motorcycles to Sturgis, South Dakota for the Sturgis Rally. The trailer pick-up was easy, worked great for our entire trip & the cost was more reasonable than many other places we looked. This past Halloween, we grabbed a large coffee dispenser to keep our hot chocolate warm for the trick or treaters.

They have it all there! We plan to use them this summer for renting an inflatable (for the kiddos) for a BBQ event. It's great having a place so close to home that has me covered for all my party needs. Thanks guys.

Do not go here rent any tool, the guy work there is so unhelpful, seems like he doesn't wanna help out at all, ask about the trailer, he told me trailer gonna go out soon, guess what I went back to take look 3 times, trailer is sitting there for the whole freaking time. I also ask him about the saw, he told me he doesn't have any saw for rental.

Check ur freaking website, u guys put more than 10 difference saw online for rent, so what are those? Fake tool? Just a toy something? If u don't wanna business, shut ur door and close. When u open that door, please treat everyone the same way, i don't know y this guy treated me like that, bc I'm Asian? Or bc I was so dirty?

Very nice people to work with. Called them a few times and they had great service on the phone. When I visited them, I found it the forgot to tell me about a deposit so they worked with me to make it happen. Very happy with the rental and we got an MG Midget!

Rented a car trailer. Blew out two tires at the same time and lost the fender on the trailer in Gary Indiana. Had to replace the two blown tires with new ones to get home. Had to pay for the damage caused by the non trailer rated tires. Owner of Highway 55 Rental was unwilling to negotiate on the replacement of his heavily used tires that the trailer came with two brand new ones that I was forced to purchase.

This place is horrible. I rented a wood chipper. It was ancient and was not well maintained. The blades were really dull and as a result it got clogged after 30 minutes of normal use. Wasted a half day of work. And then fought with the owner for months - not only wouldn't he give me a refund, he wanted me to pay for the work for unclogging it.

I went to Delano and rented a better machine for less. Used it for days without any issue. I've used chippers for over 20 years. First time I had one get clogged. No vines or over filling or shutting down while chipping. Just normal usage. It was way too old and then the treatment afterwards was appalling. I'll never rent from them again.

This company was a life saver! I needed 125 white garden chairs set up and taken down on a Saturday at a public park for a wedding that was only six days away! After my first phone call, I knew the job was in the right hands and I could let that part of the event go. The contract was emailed to me as requested and both Sam and Chris were great to work with.

The day of the wedding, the chairs were delivered on time and I noticed as they were setting up that the guys had spray bottles and towels so they could spot clean any smudges! Amazing! The park required all chairs removed in a narrow time window and the company did not disappoint. All was handled professionally and with great care.

Oh my gosh this company saved me! I had a nightmare of a move and I had to find a couple trucks to rent for a week quickly. I called in and the person on the phone was incredibly helpful and got me 2 trucks that same day! They gave me cost saving tips and suggestions and even offered to let us park the trucks on their secured lot if needed. What really impressed me was that after hearing our story and our concerns with the move, they called me the next day to let me know another truck was available if I might need it.

I LOVE proactive companies and staff! We even had a bit of a mishap because one of the trucks leaked oil on the driveway; they sent out an employee to take care of it twice! No questions, no blame, they just did the right thing and fixed it! We brought the trucks back in the wrong order which could have caused an increased charge, but due to the fact it had an oil leak, they credited me the $30.00. They have created a loyal customer out of me, and I will recommend them to all my friends and family.

The selection, service and prices are great. I recently rented a popcorn machine. They also provided the popcorn and bags. Everything worked great. I highly recommend them.

I look into every company I work with before doing business, especially when it reflects on my own business. My experience with Highway 55 Rental has been very positive. Reservations were quick and easy. My tables, chairs & linens were delivered and set up on time and with a smile. Everything was made easy for me and the price was fair and straight forward. Hosting events regularly and with upcoming grad parties, I will continue to utilize Highway 55 and would not hesitate recommending them to anyone.
