Quint City Stone Center

Had slate stone delivered to my house and I love it. I will definitely be there again to purchase more of the bigger rock. Thanks for helping make my outside vision cone to life!

I would have given 0 stars but the lowest you can give them is 1 star! My husband and I went there last fall for some stones for a landscaping project and I went inside while my husband was looking at the stones. We also want to replace our kitchen countertops with granite. But no one would wait on me. I stood by the front desk waiting for the girls behind the counter to stop chatting and help me, but they didn't so I left.

Now we went back to look again for granite and again we waited and waited and after about 15 minutes left and now we receive excellent help at a competitive company. My advise is to train your workers to at least say something to everyone who walks thru your doors!

It was a pleasure working with Tammy and Mike during our renovation of the Comfort Inn & Suites. They did an amazing job on all of the vanities and front desk. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for countertops

I recently contacted Jessica at Quint City Stone center for Slate landscaping chips. She was to return my phone call with a price, but it never happened. I waited a week and then called Quint City Stone again. Jessica answered and told me she was training a new person and would like to put me on hold so the new person could get practice by handling my order.

I was on hold for at least 5 minutes after which I just hung up. 4 days later this new person called me back asking me if I still wanted the stone. This is really bad service. I have previously spent several thousand $$ with this company having granite countertops installed and then some more on another countertop that I installed myself, but the countertop people are on a different side of the business.

The buying process was easy and service was great! When it came time for install. it all went down hill. The installer did not measure at all points of installation. Walls are not all square and one wall was not measured at all points causing my breakfast bar top to be shorter than the countertop. The installer desided to cut the countertop down.inside the house.

They apparently did not dry fit everything. They just started gluing. When you cut stone dry, it produces dust. And I had dust EVERYWHERE! They opened the front door to help with dust, causing the furnace to kick on. When that happens the furnace draws air from inside the house. One fresh air duct was right above where the stone was being cut. The furnace sucked in dust and blew it ALL OVER THE HOUSE!

The installers apologized for the mess. Trying to wipe it up. The next morning my WHOLE HOUSE had white dust everywhere! I had a layer on and in everything on the main level. This story goes on about them trying to replace the short pieces but couldn't get them unglued and how the installer didnt install the breakfast bar correctly and when asked to redo, he Became defensive like it was my fault. Just becareful with your granite installers and DO NOT LET THEM CUT ANYTHING INSIDE YOUR HOUSE!

Tod unloaded in 15min. Big trucks come in east side. Awsome place to unload.

I bought some landscaping stone from Quint City Stone Center.thinking they would be knowledgeable about there products other than box store. The stone was fine.but they gave me the wrong pins, and also charged me extra for the pins.which was supposed be included with. When brought the problem to management didn't take care of it, so I went else where to finish my landscaping project

I have been there several times and every, single time they are fantastic! The prices are reasonable and the staff is friendly and helpful! I always recommend them when people ask me where I get my supplies!

Worst customer service ever. As a company if you send them clients they will just sell them anything as long as they make a sale. My client ordered the wrong stone and was unable to use them and was not given any kind of refund or store credit. Also, the amount they ordered was not enough for the project, after the sales person told them it would be, (After three trips out to sticks-ville where they are located, and a few phone call attempts to get the sales rep on the phone.

They offered no resolution) Don't go to Quint City Stone, there are plenty other better companies in the Quad Cities, with way better customer service, and better return policies. With the same stones. Avoid ordering anything from them!

They installed our granite countertops. They did an amazing job! Turn around from order time wasn't bad. The installer is so talented. I highly recommend this company. Prices were lower than competitors too.

Lately I have heard of several people not happy with Quint City Stone and as of today I am another one. They no longer refund for bulk bags but they will for pallets. When I placed my delivery back in July I was told at the counter after I paid I could return the pallets for a refund. So I made the 20 minute trip to return 2 pallets unloaded them in the back as I was told to and returned with the ticket and then told I can not get a refund because I was not charged for them, this is after the person who took the order and my payment said I could so I never thought anything about it.

So because the first person was incompetent and didn't do their job I wasted over an hour of my time for nothing and get to dispose of 2 practically brand new bulk bags because they don't want to reuse them to help the environment. Not so smart for a company that is involved with landscaping, Quint City Stone.not environmentaly friendly and incompetent. I will give the bags to River Stone so they can be used again.
