A look at the history of Gierke-Robinson Co. Gierke-Robinson Company was established in 1919 by E.W.C. Gierke and Arnold H. Robinson. Both men were sales agents for construction equipment and tool firms. Robinson represented several construction equipment manufacturers, including the old Austin Machinery Corp. Gierke was selling oxygen and acetylene cutting and welding tools as a representative of Searchlight Co., a forerunner to Air Reduction Corp., Chicago.

For over three decades, Gierke-Robinson Co. has been RENTING and SELLING Flygt electric submersible pumps and Honda dewatering pumps and accessories. In 2006, we added the Thompson Pump line which includes diesel, diaphragm, high pressure and wellpoint pumps. Hose, fittings and other accessories also are readily available for rent or for purchase.
