We're committed to providing the best construction experience possible. And that starts with developing strong relationships built on open communication, radical transparency, and trust. For a strong, collaborative, and long-term partnership, trust the Ideal team. The Wisconsin Housing & Economic Development Authority office building was key to the redevelopment of the former Mautz Paint Company site.
Designed to complement the current neighborhood, the building recalls the industrial brick loft-style buildings of the historic area while also incorporating modern steel, divided light windows, and a third-floor skywalk to connect employees to the five-story parking ramp.

Services
For 20 years, Ideal Builders has sought to build one thing better than anyone else: relationships. Established in 2002, we made being "of service" to our community, our commercial construction clients, our subcontractors, and our associates our top priority. Two decades and over 10 million square feet of buildings and remodels later, we have evolved significantly, though our fundamental values remain unchanged. The partners at Ideal - Dave Martin, Jason Bollig, Tim Cleary, and BJ Galle - are fully engaged in the daily operations of the company.
From tenant improvement to ground up, to highly complex CGMP research development facilities, and more. Ideal Builders provided valuable feedback during the design process, allowing us to get the best value. Their open book approach helped us define an accurate project budget prior to completion of the design.
Ideal Builders is proud to celebrate their 20th anniversary with a giving campaign to pay special thanks to the community for two decades of support. Throughout 2022, the Madison-based commercial construction company will donate to a predetermined selection of 12 Dane County charities. Angela Wallace, Brand Specialist for Ideal Builders, stresses the importance of returning the support to the community. On a personal level, she notes, "We can never know if or when we may need help from one of these entities."
As our commercial construction company grew in size and profitability, we decided to prioritize charitable giving - something we all pursued individually - on an organizational level. In 2015, we established the Ideal Builders Community Fund, now led by seven members of our Community Impact Committee (CIC), to grow our impact within the Madison community by helping nonprofits grow theirs. Each quarter, members of our Community Impact Committee get together to review current giving and set new giving goals.
