The storefront is small where you enter to discuss your needs with knowledgable clerks. It doesnt look like much when you look at the displays in the main store but this is a true lumber yard with multiple out buildings that wharehouse a large variety of building materials. If they do not have most things in stock they will order it for you with to store delivery in afew days.
They also have a saw mill in one building where they will cut what you need out of a variety of different wood. You can also order custom made cabinets here. They also carry an assortment of woodworking supplies. Caulking, glue, sand paper, wood stains, hand tools & painting supplies. They are handicap accesible with close to store parking & drive thru the yard pickup.

Funny that the review I left for them in 2017 was removed. Here's my issue with Lodi Lumber. I used to purchase from Lodi Lumber frequently for my small business. Throughout 2017 I purchased many custom sized wood pieces -- maybe totaling around $1k. When I went back January 2018 to buy the same item I had purchased just two months prior, they wanted almost double the price ($55 to $97) Said they hadn't been charging me labor.
I know they had because 1) it was on the receipt and 2) it was higher than the price of the individuals boards. Anyway, doubling the price was going to kill my business. Clearly they do not need my small business or the DIY home repair person. In the end they did me a favor. It forced me to look around and I discovered the amazing people at Keim Lumber.
Not only did I get great quality wood at a better price, but they also did custom routing for me. Paying a lot less then Lodi Lumber and I'm getting great customer service. My small business that only bought $1k from Lodi Lumber in 2017 spent $15k with Keim in 2018 and $20k this year. If you value customer service, then go somewhere else.

After entering this place for the first time today we did not receive so much as a nod. I asked the guy behind the counter a question about a tool. He stated " Sure when I am off the phone" He hangs up the phone and walks away knowingly leaving me at the counter. I waited, and he still ignored me walking right by me when he came back. Some pretty rude folks for being out in the country.
The kicker is we drove 45 miles to get there to check this place out. Just a fun mid morning jaunt. Not nice or friendly folks by any means. My guess is that Lodi lumber caters to contractors and not the little guy. Disappointed in their lack of courtesy today, for sure.

Our first experience with Lodi Lumber was positive. The quality of service and goods was better then Lowes and Home Depot. Our second experience was poor. At least 10% of the boards were chipped and cracked. When I called to provide feedback about the change in quality the salesman was agitated and attempted to justify the poor quality of the wood because it's "only outside framing lumber".
After a minute he reluctantly offered to replace the poor quality boards if I brought them back to the store. I declined his offer. I had chosen this lumber yard because of past quality and experience and was willing to pay a little more for that but next I'll go somewhere else.
