As with most beginnings, our company was founded with the idea of doing something everyone else is doing - only better. In 1985, Schonsheck, Inc. was formed by Ian Schonsheck. From that beginning, we have grown into one of the prominent construction companies in Southeast Michigan. In 1998, ownership of Schonsheck, Inc. was transferred to the employees through an ESOP.
