Once the template is complete, we will review and verify that all details have been determined, such as seam placement. We will then order the material for delivery. This is an optional step of your project unique to StoneTop! You are included on the final walkthrough and layout of your stone, and you get the final decision on how your selection is cut.
During this process, the saw operator lays the templates out on the slab and marks the cuts to be made. A digital bridge saw makes the rough cuts. The fabricator will prepare the finished edges and make the cutouts for the sink, cooktop or other appliances.

Services
I had grown up on a family farm in Cedar Falls, Iowa and many times during my life had considered running my own business. In 2001, I had an opportunity to strike off in a new direction for my career. I finally felt that it was the right time. So, I started StoneTop, Inc. to template and install a new quartz product, Silestone, by Cosentino.

I worked for them for almost 2 years. Anthony is the best installer I don't recommend anyone using Corey he steals from customers homes and will damage your stone and will cover it up and John the owner will back him up with any lie he tells.if you want to do any business with them and want it done correctly contact fabian the shop manager.

Installers were good until they cracked a large floor tile with the wheel of the cart they used to get the countertop in on and did not say anything. I noticed it after I had paid them in full and they left. I called right away and was told that John, the owner would call me back. Three times I called and again, John will call you back. I finally called and just asked for John.
I did speak with him but he made it very clear that because the installers did not actually drop the countertop on the floor, he was not at all responsible. Interestingly, the installers mentioned to John that the floor tiles were a little "wonky". Then John called the cabinet guy who recommended them to me and told him that it wasn't his responsibility.
I used them for a previous job and thought they were great. I will not use them for the next three jobs I any doing. Too bad for them, I flip houses. Could have had a regular good customer if they had just owned up to their mistake.

Installers were very nice but unfortunately did not fess up to cracking a large floor tile with the wheels of the cart that help the countertop. Called John, the owner repeatedly. He finally took my call and said he was not responsible because they didn't actually drop the counter top on the tile. Also did not have a dishwasher bracket on the truck to install. Took four calls over a two week period to get that installed.
But in the mean time, twice the dishwasher tipped out and the bottom rack hit the tile floor, breaking all my dishes. First experience with them was great. But I will not use them again for the three bathrooms and outdoor kitchen I doing now.

I took a piece of stone left over from an old job with a template carefully made by a professional installer to guide the cutting process. Waited patiently for more than two weeks after the estimated time for the job to be completed and had no contact or information from Stone Top- called and after a very long process finally got someone to confirm that they did have the job in process and would get back to me with details- three days passed and no word- called again and once again it was as if no one had any idea about what was going on. Finally, after more than three weeks past the estimated date of completion I called and was told the job was done. Picked up the stone and the template and upon getting the piece back home discovered the template had not been followed at all and the installer had a good deal of work to do in order to make the top fit as needed. THE ONLY THING THEY WERE GOOD AT WAS CHARGING FOR VERY POOR WORK, I understand I did not purchase the stone from them but if they did not want to do a decent job why not just say we cannot help. Will be certain not to use them as we move forward with renovation of our home.

This company does not stand behind their product! Nothing but trouble from them. So disappointed and dissatisfied with their product have had them out several times for the same issue now they say it's not a warranty issue and they want to charge to repair the product, I had them out once to repair a chip in my bathroom on a piece of stone they did not install worst repair job I have ever seen obviously their staff does not know what they are doing it's looks like they used white out to repair it it's very obvious that this is a transit company that goes through lots of employees that get little to none training to do what they do! Buyer beware nothing but trouble from this company and their product!

Stone Top Inc. was tasked with fixing our cracked countertop that had been installed by another company. I thought the job they faced was nearly impossible, we've been through lots of construction in multiple homes, so I know better than to say "I've seen it all" but I have seen lots. I have also learned I'm very particular and not easily impressed. Today I'm impressed. Tim and his crew exceeded my expectations, they were respectful of my home, clean, worked efficiently, and their work is outstanding.

Communication Nightmare. I was told when I made my purchase installation would take 1 day. I spent an entire day waiting for them to arrive then install the counter tops. They cut the sink hole too large and asked if instead of making a new one for me could they give me a new sink. I agreed as I was told this would be the "quick" fix. However, they had to take the top back to the shop and would let me know when they were coming back.
I asked how long and was told not long. Around noon the next day I got an email asking if the sink pictured would be OK because they would have to order it from Home Depot. I replied that was fine; however, how long was I going to be without water/sink in my kitchen. They did not respond. Around 2 pm I called and was told they didn't know when the sink would be in and then they would have to call to schedule the reinstall.
I was surprised that they were in no hurry to correct their error and were so unconcerned about my inconvenience. They did not apologize for their mistake. They did not seem to think I would need to know anything about how long it was going to take for them to correct this error. Multiple times they promised to call me with information and did not. Beware of this company, I still have no idea about when I will get my counter top or water back in my kitchen.
