About Us Report

A family-run business in beautiful Lithia, Florida, Southern Pine Timber Products was started in 1987 by Richie Longanecker to fulfill the needs of building contractors and lumber companies throughout Florida and the Southeast. The majority of our products are made from Southern Yellow Pine due to its unique characteristics such as its strength, straightness, minimal knots, low density fiber structure (which facilitates pressure treatment), and once pressure treated, its ability to withstand the harsh, tropical environment of Florida.
