Lusco Brick & Stone is one of Wichita's oldest and most reputable companies. Originally chartered as the Lumberman's Supply Company in 1907, the company was reincorporated and renamed The Lusco Brick & Stone Company in 1927. Lusco moved to our current location and site of operations at 929 E. 14th Street in 1976.
The year 1907 saw the birth of one of Wichita's oldest and most reputable companies, The Lusco Brick & Stone Company. Known originally as The Lumberman's Supply Company, Lusco was founded with the backing of investors that included prominent lumbermen A.C. Houston and J.W. Metz. The business sold brick, coal, cement and various other construction materials that were in high demand in the region at the time.
With this company's products in Wichita landmarks suck as Minisa Bridge, City Hall, and now many Wichita School District expansion projects of the 21st Century. Bruce Gilkeson's family has left as lasting impression on the city. Lusco is a family-owned business that sells many of the same products it sold when it was established as Lumberman's Supply Co. in 1907.
For over 100 years, Lusco Brick & Stone has been the leading supplier of brick and masonry products in the Wichita area. We offer a wide selection from the finest manufacturers in the industry. Lusco specializes in residential brick, thin brick, architectural brick, natural stone, cast stone, hardscapes, paving units, outdoor fireplaces, and much more.

Fire bricks were the cheapest around by FAR, and great deals on everything else I got there. Awesome service, and they were cool about me making a couple trips a week apart. Highly recommend!

I ordered veneer stone for the exterior of my home I talked with Zach who is a friendly guy and was willing to help and answer my questions. It took 60 days to receive my stone. I would have given 5 stars but Lusco did lose my corner pieces but they did a rush delivery which took 2 days to get the corners in. All in all it's a good place to get your brick and stone.

Amazing company, amazing staff! Holly was so easy to work with! I work for an independent contractor and initially we had ordered the wrong stone, amount, etc. Holly worked with me to get the order corrected and get us exactly what we needed and quickly! I would definitely recommend this company for all your brick and stone needs!

I purchased an engineered stone product from Lusco for a basement fireplace. I started laying the stone and discovered it wouldn't lay tight. The manufacturers representative admitted they had previous issues with their stone molds. I was told I would receive $500 to tear the stone and concrete backer board down and start over. They lied! I never received a dime. I have to work with Bruce on commercial projects, but personally would never recommend or purchase anything there again.

I had an amazing experience with this company! I had a single brick that I needed to get more of. I called and talked to Aaron. He had me send him a picture of the brick. He was really helpful and really nice! He identified the brick, told me exactly what I needed and got it all ordered for me. I highly recommend this place!

Our builder had us pick out the stone for our fireplace and front of the house here. While everything turned out looking good in the end, there were a few things worth mentioning (hence only 4 stars). 1. The "manufactured" stone facade for the front of the home turned to be a bit darker shade than the sample indicated it would. This may not seem like a big problem, but it dramatically affected the color of paint we had to use on the outside of our house. 2.

We made our stone choices early, so there would be any last minute rushing our mix ups. Well, they misplaced our selections and had to scramble to find them in order to order the stone on time. That said, everything did turn out wonderful, especially the fireplace.
