This is our third time using Palo Verde. This time for glass sliding doors and a window. The installation was smooth despite the unforeseen setbacks the crew encountered. Rene ran a great crew! in addition, after the installation, we found lots of scratches on one of the doors - seemingly from the Razorblade removal of sticker material. Rene returned, assessed and took the right action to replace the fixed pane on one of the doors. For these reasons, we will be forever customers. You can shop for price alone, but this service will outshine the competition.

We hired Palo Verde Glass & Screen to screen in our patio, and we couldn't be happier with the job they did. They were helpful, reliable and professional right from the start, from the estimate appointment through the actual installation. It did take awhile to get the work done, but that's really a testament to how good they are. They're just really busy & booked up right now, but are handling it very well, always courteous and on-time.
The installers were fantastic -- very friendly and helpful, and they did a great job, finishing up in just 2 days. I would highly recommend this company and would definitely hire them again.

I broke a Pella window in my house and called Palos Verde for a quote on repairing it. I described the window in detail, size, color, material, etc. and got my quote to have it fixed at their shop. I took the window out, drove over to their office, and was greeted at the door by a lady that said that "oh, we don't do Pella windows here, they are too time consuming".
I pointed out that I had phone first (the lady who took my call confirmed that we spoke), but that didn't sway her at all. I'm glad that their time was so much more valuable than mine. And this is from a company that I had used extensively in the past. I drove to Star Glass on Grant who not only charged me less, but had it perfectly fixed in 90 minutes.

The lady on the phone was clearly agitated that I didn't know what type of screen I was looking for, but its true I didn't, i though they would show me what would work best and we would go from there. The man that showed up today was at my house for 2 min. Very short with answers and not very friendly at all. He looked as the front door and said nope our screens won't work on your door. I don't how good the service is but professionally they get a 2. Working Customer service takes a special kind of person.

DONT BUY HERE! Customer service is lousy, specifically some person name Debbie don't know what happen to these guys. I called them three weeks ago to replace a broken window. They told me it would take two weeks to get some one to go out to evaluate the window. I told her that I'm a customer for a while and she say let me see what I can do, I will call you back.
Two days go by and Debbie NEVER called back. I call, speak to Cindy, who was great and she schedules an appointment for two weeks out. Cindy asks me for the glass measurements, so she can give me a rough costs and order it, thus reducing the wait time. She said she was going to order the glass but she still needed someone to go out. The week of the appointment Debbie leaves me a vmail saying that she was confirming the appointment but that Cindy had told her that I was possibly going to use someone else. so she wanted me to call back to confirm and not waste their installers time.
I call her back and said I never said that, I confirmed the appointment. I call back today after their installers went to see the damage and sure enough I get Debbie. She immediately puts me on hold and then comes back and says we don't have you, you called the wrong place, I tell her it was done over the holiday because I was out of town. " We don't work weekends!" She finally finds it under my middle name and says oh yeah I sent it to your email.
I never got an email, sure enough she sent it to the wrong email. She then blames covid for being backed up and says I'll send it to your right email and wants to hang up. I asked her if she could please just tell me how much the glass was going to be so she tells me and than she says but we cant install until July 27th. I told her Cindy was supposed to already have ordered the glass. SHE yells at me that they don't order the glass until they start the job.
I told her that i wasn't telling her how to do it I was explaining what I was told by her employee. I asked her finally what her issue was with me, every time I call she acts like Im bothering her or wasting her time, I told her I can't rent my house until the glass gets fix. So she tells me that she knows how rentals work and this is a bad fit. She's not going to fix my window. HMMMM, makes me wonder why a company would not want someone's business.
Why they would continuously want to push you off or discourage you from using their service. I highly recommend going elsewhere! Debbie and her business have made it clear that I am not a good fit or good enough for HER BUSINESS. Whatever that means.wow we live in some crazy times right now.

We have a sliding glass door that has become increasingly difficult to open/close. We suspect (probably correctly) that it is the "original" slider that was installed when the house was built in 1998 (aluminum frame, rollers and track). Some years back, we called Palo Verde Glass to replace the one panel with the addition of a doggy door. The glass was tempered and a bit heavier than the original.
We decided to follow-up with Palo Verde Glass to have them review the issue of repairing it rather than replacing it. To our delight, Rene & Pierre were able to address the issue, installing new roller bearings, cleaning out and lubricating the track. The door opens easily and we are very pleased with the outcome. These gentleman were prompt, courteous, thorough and very knowledgeable.
This is our third visit from Palo Verde.they also installed our new shower doors a few years ago. We recommend them and the company. Deb, who is the primary contact and the one who makes the "first impression" is cordial, accommodating and great on the follow-up. Well deserved FIVE STARS!

We live in the Sierra Vista area, and we just ordered a sliding screen door for our patio to replace the old one. They were great over the phone, helping us to measure the door and determine the right size, and promptly sent a quote. They called when it came in and loaded and secured it in my truck. The door is very high quality, with a pet screen, and we were able to install ourselves. Very happy with the service, would definitely recommend!

I have used Palo Verde Glass previously for window repairs and a custom doggie-door. I would not hesitate to use them again, and of course I have no problem referring them to others. Their work is first-rate, their technicians and office staff are dependable and friendly, and their prices are very competitive. Highly recommended - 5 stars all around!

I have used Palo Verde Glass and Screen on two different occasions. The first being when I remodeled my master bathroom. HUGE under taking. The mirrors in the bathroom were very large and had many intricate cuts and angels. The original glass company that was hired did a terrible job. The mirrors that were delivered (having to be ordered 3 separate times) had been totally measured wrong and the installers broke them during each installation (hence the 3 different orders) My neighbor recommended Palo Verde Glass and Screen.
I called the office and spoke with Debbie Prince (owner). She was professional, courteous and highly knowledgeable. The appointment was made for the very next day - not a week away like the other company. Ron Prince, also the owner, came out and not only took measurements but made patterns. The mirrors came in the next week and they fit PERFECTLY.
The installers did a fabulous job, were professional and pleasant. Ron even showed up to make sure all was done correctly. They even cleaned up their mess. AND, not only was the Palo Verde Glass and Screen quote spot on, the price was less than the original glass company. After installation, Debbie followed up with a phone call to make sure everything was correct, that I was happy and if I had any questions.
The 2nd time I hired Palo Verde Glass and Screen was when I needed to replace 6 large east facing windows in my patio room. I called their office and made an appointment. I spoke with Cindi. She also was very courteous, professional and extremely knowledgeable. Again, Ron the owner came out to measure the windows and assisted in making the right choice of which type of windows to order.
He LISTENED to my wants. Windows came in exactly when I was told they would and the same installers came. Again, they were professional and pleasant. And Cindi followed up with a phone call. I will never use any other glass company other than Palo Verde Glass and Screen. If I could I would rate them 10 stars. Vicky M.

A note before diving into this review: The one-star reviews for this company are a joke and should be ignored. After having a nightmare experience with a nationally-recognized installer of replacement windows - their name rhymes with Bejewel by Anchorman -- I contacted Deb at Palo Verde. I walked in to their office. We talked for about 15 minutes and I knew that they would be doing the work.
They took a look at the other bid and beat it like a dusty rug. They also were pretty clear about knowing what they were doing, so off we went. The work was done for 1/4 the cost and was completed -- without issue -- in just over 2 weeks, from signing the agreement to finishing the installation. The installers were polite, professional, and prompt.
We had literally zero problems with them. Local company, family-owned and operated, and they've been doing doors and windows pretty much since the invention of doors and windows.

I had an estimate done and a few weeks later ordered window and patio sun screens for my home. My estimate was very vague in terms of the documents I received. I didn't think I would need that much detail since I knew what I was ordering. My estimate sheet simply said "4 @ the price" that I was quoted. I wanted 3 windows and a patio door screened, so this made sense to me.
The first issue I noticed was when they came to pick up the patio door to re-screen. The scheduler said she would have someone arrived right at 7:30. By 8, I had to leave for work. By 8:40, someone called to let me know they were picking it up. That person had no idea the 7:30 arrival time I had been told, and luckily they were able to get it without me being there.
The installer arrived and had my patio door screens and 4 windows screens, but there are 2 window screens per window. I am fine with this design, but I was very annoyed that one was missing. The person who did the quote should have clarified if he thought someone wanted to have mismatched screens. One of my windows has just a bug screen. Why on earth would someone only put screens on some of their windows?
That obviously didn't make any sense, but without a detailed estimate, I didn't realize the mistake had been made. The installer put everything on within the time frame he advised to and had me look at them to make sure everything was correct. He said I wouldn't be charged labor for the additional screen, which I appreciated. However, given that they clearly made a mistake on the estimate, I didn't want to purchase another screen from them.
Someone else gave me a quote, which technically would have been cheaper if they were quoting me accurately! Either someone made a stupid mistake, or they tried to swindle more money out of me. Either way, I won't be purchasing my final screen from them and don't intend to work with them again. I don't recommend this company.

Wow. This place is a joke. Made me wait 4 days for them to come out and give me an estimate on a broken entry door at our business. They were a referral and I wanted to keep business local. Finally Thursday comes around and I am looking forward to getting this handled. The woman at the front desk calls and tells me that their incompetent technician has been circling downtown and can't park. He says that he doesn't have time for this and has other appointments. LOL. Thanks for nothing

Very professional and prompt! I called for an estimate, and within a few days they were out to inspect the house and give me all my options for screens. The installers Pat and Pierre did a great job. Carolina in the office returned my call when I had a billing question. I would highly recommend them!

I recently ordered new sun and pet screens and they are great! Palo Verde Glass & Screen provided great service and excellent screens. They were very efficient and thorough in installing the screens, explained the features of the doors, and asked me if I had any questions about the product or installation. I would highly recommend Palo Verde Glass & Screen to my friends or neighbors!

Our front, picture window, was cracked by a stray rock during a lawn trim up. The small crack expanded in to a real eye sore, due to the heat. I was recommended to Palo Verde through another window repair company. They were helpful, set up an estimate the next day, and were able to get the glass and screen repaired in a timely manner. Originally I was told I would need to wait 3 weeks, they were very busy. but then she found a morning opening!
The front desk/receptionist was always very pleasant, friendly, and efficient. the repair men were kind and courteous. I would definetely recommend and would call again.hopefully we won't have to!

I give these guys five Stars. They came out on time and give me an estimate. They arrived on time for the installation. The price was awesome! The only suggestion I have, is make room in your day for more estimates. My mother-in-law wanted an estimate for her screen door and the guy that came out to my house said he was too busy to drive down the street.
I was taken back a little bit and said OK. I thought wow, the company must be killing it to not do a simple estimate. The crazy thing is, my mother-in-law is the one that paid for our screens and she wanted another screen door. If it was my business, I would Forster or motivate my team to do whatever it takes, because referrals are hard to get. Anyway I'll get off my soapbox, The company did an awesome by me and I would use them again.

Nice little show room tucked behind the Mercedes dealership on Grant and Wilmot. Little background on what we were doing. Needing to spruce up and update our quite large master bathroom. Slowing added bronze lighting fixtures, change out the towel bars, Hate that gold trim that builders gave you in houses in the 90's. So here I am looking at the shower and it is framed in gold.
Real stand out like a sore thumb. Back to checking out businesses that replace shower doors. Didn't want to go to the big box stores. My philosophy is such that we like to support locals. Went to a few places and finally chose Palo Verde. We ordered the glass with special coating so it is easier to clean. It is pricey but that is what we wanted.
They came and measured and set a date for the job to be done. Everything was put on the order correctly included the crystallized glass. Picked out really nice oiled bronze frame. Looked real contemporary. They came promptly on the installment day. After putting up the frame we kind of looked at the glass and decided to ask if this was the treated glass.
It wasn't. Bottom line, before you have them come to your house it is best to ask a day or two before if the correct glass is there. If we didn't ask. I believe we wouldn't have known the difference and have paid quite a bit extra for nothing. Buyer beware and make sure you check on what you a getting before any installation. The two installers felt terrible but promptly called the owners and the new glass would be ordered. Unfortunately, it took about 2 weeks to get.
I know things like this happen. My daughter had the same thing in Dallas. So, a lesson to be learned for yourselves. At any rate, the job was done and we got a small discount for the trouble we had. The fellas installing were professional and very nice. Still have the gold framed medicine cabinet. Hubby will tackle this himself.

After I received an online quote, I asked for someone from Palo Verde Glass and Screen to come out to provide me with an estimate since I am not a window expert and wanted to make sure that I wouldn't end up paying more than expected. When the employee arrived, he confirmed the price of the original quote and asked if I was ready to schedule the job.
I let him know that I was not ready at that time. The next day, I received an email from Deb chastising me for having someone come out to give me a quote if I wasn't going to use them to fix my windows. I was appalled! I hadn't decided who I was going to use until then. I would NEVER use a company that sends out such disrespectful and unprofessional email to potential clients just because they aren't willing to immediately schedule a job.

Have used these folks several times in the past six or so years and I have never been disappointed. They just replaced two dual pane stationary windows in my house and I was grateful for their attitude of doing it right. Courteous, professional and on time. I don't know if they are the cheapest in town but ill be calling them for replacement glass.
