Extremely poor customer service! I've been waiting on my order for months and have requested a refund. I've been told for over a month now the owner will call me. He has not called. Megan Bittenbender literally yelled at me and wouldn't let me get a word in when I told her for the third time I want a full refund. To my surprise, they have removed my current screen, knowing they weren't able to replace it and now 3 sets of doors are exposed. If you want to be inconvenienced and disappointed by all means deal with Megan and southern screens!

My husband and I wanted screen doors on our doors going to our patio. We wanted something that was easy to use, but not obvious, and would keep insects out. After researching we called Southern Screen. From the initial phone call speaking to Misty, and the salesman and installer, Doug McClelland, meeting with us to review our options it was a totally professional experience in our best interest.
We asked a lot of questions and Doug was patient and thorough in his answers. The whole team was great to work with and provided us with a wonderful experience from the initial contact to the installation. We got exactly what we needed with our Phantom Retractable Screens and are very happy with them and have highly recommended them to friends.

I should have reviewed sooner, but I am a "let's see how this works over time" kind of customer. The Phantom screens install gave me real use of my back yard for the first time. They look great and work great. After a year of use, one of the screens began to stick because one of the cedar posts on my porch flexed a little over time. I called Southern Screens and everything was working perfect again within two hours of the call. Wow. Thanks!

Not impressed at this moment but am waiting for a resolution. I had a maintenance appointment scheduled today, had my schedule re-arranged for this appointment and did not receive a call telling me they were not coming. After leaving a message with an answering service, customer service called and told me appointment was cancelled. Two things are bothersome. 1-if a technician can't make an appointment, it is best to let the customer know day before and though I'm not sure, I do not believe I would have been called at all and today just would be a no show. 2- customer service person informed me that new installs come before maintenance calls and they are very busy.
This seems like a bad business practice as folks who have already paid and have the product should perhaps be equal to new business. I believe they are short on installers and have a great deal of business. I do like the product but am not happy at all with followup. I cannot have maintenance done anywhere else as it will void my warranty. Not impressed and am waiting for owner to call.
