Olander's Window Replacement

Absolutely amazing long-time local business! We got personal care from the owner, Patrick Olander, from start to finish. Price! We had previously gotten an outrageous estimate from a national chain of nearly $40,000 to replace windows just in our living room and one window in our dining room. Olander's did the entire house (living & dining rooms, bedrooms, kitchen, bath) with quality windows for $19,000 that have made a huge difference in comfort!

Despite that it was in the middle of COVID, they showed up on the appointed day and finished quickly. Patrick helped with the installation himself. My wife had heard horror stories from friends about how window installation makes a lot of dust, so we covered all the furniture in the house. Not necessary! Olander's crew was super neat, didn't get any dust or dirt anywhere, and picked up at the end of each day.

We had been dreading the process, but it went so smoothly and they were so friendly, that our dog Lily and we missed them when they went. We felt like we had made new friends. If only all contractors were like this!

Tl;dr: highest recommendations. About 20 years ago, we replaced the windows in our house in Pittsburgh. Went through all the bidding process, research, asking others, etc. So we knew the ropes. Very long story short, we went with Olander's for our windows here (Sunrise Meadows, up by Sabino Canyon). They were, by far, the most professional in their bid (no pressure, no "today only, " no slagging on others). They were also the lowest bid. And they did an absolutely stellar job on the install. Exceeds expectations!

You can be confident with these guys to get the job done well and on time. We are new to Tucson, and we gathered bids from several window companies to replace 14 windows in our home. Olander's bid was not the lowest, but from the beginning they were wonderful to deal with -- friendly, accessible, respectful, knowledgeable. The installers, Miguel and Javier, were exceptionally careful to clean up after themselves and to insure that the windows were mounted to our specifications. I am 100% glad that I chose Olander's. They are the best!

Olander's is one of the best in Tucson. We had them retrofit 20 windows in our home with vinyl insert low-e glass and everything was exceptional. They have a low key sales approach, excellent product, great work crew, and very competitive prices. You just can't go wrong here. You do loose a little glass space with the insert windows but frankly we like it better.

It frames the view nicely and has a more finished look than the old thin aluminum frames. Other companies wanted to cut out our old frames but this breaks the stucco envelope and has a higher chance of leaks in the future, the insert frames Olander's uses is less invasive and more secure. We had 4 other companies provide estimates and only Olanders would accommodate all of our needs.

Also the latest low-e glass is much cooler in the summertime. The only thing I would suggest for Olander's is a follow up by the sales staff after the job is complete - all companies should do this when you spend this much money.

Olander's once again delivers. Excellent follow-through made supply line delays very clear. Installers were on-time, friendly and professional. My windows are beautiful. They replaced all my windows and a sliding glass door, including removing old rusty security bars. The installation process was done so professionally. We had Olander's come out to give us an estimate for possibly replacing our sliding glass patio door. They were honest with us about our options, and their recommendation for us actually ended up being to get some partial repairs done, a service that they don't even provide (but saved us a lot of money). They went through the effort to provide us some thorough estimates and gave us their honest professional recommendation, even though their recommendation was to NOT spend our money with them.

In addition, every member of their staff that I interacted with was very pleasant, helpful, and professional. I was very impressed and will definitely keep them in mind the next time we're in need of their services in the future.

I had Olander's replace every window in my home. I researched and received estimates from 3 companies. Olander's were extremely great to work with. They offered the best energy package, for the best price. The men that did the installation were meticulous, kind, considerate, and cleaned up after themselves each day. Cannot say enough good things about this company. From the initial consultation, to the measure, to the install they were top notch at every phase.
