We needed a new fence fast because our neighbor's dog broke through and nearly killed our dog. Brody responded so quickly and made sure he was over for an estimate as soon as he could. He sent us the quote later that day. We were able to get our fence about a month after our quote (which is super quick in comparison to our other friends who went with other companies), and now we have a beautiful privacy fence that will keep dogs and people out!

I have been waiting on an estimate that was promised in a timely manner. I don't typically leave bad reviews but this is the most unprofessional company I have ever dealt with. If you can't do the job give the courtesy of saying you don't have time. I called again today and was told I will call you right back and that was several hours ago. I will be spending my $5000 somewhere else. Thank you for wasting two weeks of my time Luther!

My experience with this company has been great. They kept me up to date and started the job when all the supplies were ready. Two nice men came early in the morning and by late afternoon they had completed the job, looks fabulous I'm so happy with it. I checked 2 other companies who's price was much, much higher. They do offer good prices, compared to other's.

They gave me a cheaper price compared to other companies and came twice to my house to measure the yard because we tweaked the position of the fence. Our salesperson Paul was so courteous, honest, and friendly. He was very responsive in emails and went beyond to give us all our options. The fence was installed EARLIER than estimated and the installers worked SO QUICKLY.

They were done in one morning. I couldn't believe how fast the fence was going up and their work was quality! I am so happy with the process and product, and we love our new aluminum fence!

We needed to contain our dog and rationalize seven different kinds of fencing that had accumulated over the years. The sales person gave us good advice and the installers were cheerful and professional. They didn't realize but they had accidentally knocked over a section of the neighbor's fence. (It may have fallen after they left--it wasn't in the best shape to begin with.) Frederick Fence sent a workman to assess it and he repaired it to my neighbor's satisfaction. I'm very satisfied. The price was the price--it was competitive with other bids, and I think we got good value.

In December 2018, I hired Frederick Fence Co. to install two fences around my house. One is a farm style fence, 4' high. That installation included two single gates, one of which doesn't close properly anymore, and a double gate. At least three posts of that fence have become lose and the fence is now leaning. The second fence is cedar and it's 8' tall.

That fence included two large double gates. Both gates began to fall apart soon after installation, about 18 months later. Now, less than four (4) years later, three of the 6"X6" posts that support that fence have become completely lose and that fence is also leaning. Worse yet, the two sections that comprise those three posts move back and forth with the wind to the point that the nails that hold the fence to the panels are getting lose.

I paid $11,000 for the job and I provided all the 6"X6" posts for the 8' fence. I have a feeling that the fence was installed without concrete or very little concrete was used for each post. I can't believe that a professional fence installation only lasts three years and three months because I installed a fence myself in my first house, which I still own, and that one has been standing strong since the year 2000.

I will never use Frederick Fence again and I will not only not recommend them, I will tell people not to use them. I have sent two emails and I still have not received a response.

Very happy with the results. Just a minor change still to be made, along with a minor faceboard that was missed. All in all we are very happy. The installation guys were great and knew their stuff. The job was started and completed in a timely manner. Thank you to all involved! Will definitely recommend!

Had a really great experience with Frederick Fence. From the initial estimate from Paul, to working with Matt for planning, to the installer Gesus (he was a gem and took more time than he needed to for answering questions and making sure everything was perfect). They also came in at a lower price than several other contractors. Most importantly, the fence looks great and I am excited to enjoy it for many years to come.

Perry that came out for the Measurement was very nice and professional. will Update review after installation *Update* Update was couple months ago, it was good and quick, really enjoyed that they placed the fill they removed where i wanted as i had a large indentation from a Pond Removal that they filled. will definitely recommend in future. only downside is that I don't care fort the gate latch, but it latches and stays latched, so just a minor, not enough to remove a star or recommendation as its a personal preference

Friendly and free estimate done in a timely manner. They completed the job before the proposed time frame, and worked quickly and efficiently. We are very happy with our fence from Frederick Fence Co. The fence is great quality and the installation crew was very professional and flexible, despite some odd logistics in a city backyard (a retaining wall and difficult yard access). They had the best price to offer out of several estimates from other local companies. Our email and phone correspondence was responded to quickly and they stuck to the timeline for their estimated date of installation. Very pleased overall!

Approximately, ten years ago I hired Frederick Fence to replace an existing split rail and wire fence. My husband wanted to support "local business". During this time some posts rotted and had to be replaced and the wire fence rusted. Five years later I had a sales rep from FF come out and give me a quote on a metal fence around my in-ground pool.

It was she, one of their own, who informed me that "cheap" materials were used on the split rail/wire fences. Needless to say, I have Long Fence replacing the cheap quality fence that we paid 12k for. Stay tuned for my review of them.

I did my shopping and made a decision to go with Frederick Fence, 100 percent because of the people that worked here. upfront and honest. Nothing else matters to me, I wanted just to be taken care of and I was, From the first time I met Perry and even the second time he came by, I just had that good feeling, The experience was great, small talk here and their. the price did not matter even if he was a little higher, You pay for what you get, so I rather deal with a honest company that stands for their customers.

I truly love my new Fence and it is was everything that was promised to me. I just got off the phone with Erin about my experience, I will continue to recommend them to everyone I know. Honest, trustworthy, great company, great people!

Back in early June, , we had an amazing estimate done by Luther for both mine and my neighbors property. At that time, , we were told that we'd have a couple crews come out and that they would work on one fence to completion and then the second day, the fence at the other household would be completed. Today, November 17th after months of delay, only 2 men were sent out for this huge job.

I applaud them for deconstructing all the existing fence in our yard and put up a quarter of the posts in, but, it is no where near what was promised. Majority of the yard is open. We specifically worried about how our 3 German Shepherds were going to go out to the bathroom but were told everything would be done in a day. Not only our yard, but the back fence of the neighbors yard was also pulled out, so they also cannot let their dog out to go to the bathroom in the yard.

Time after time, what Luther promised us was wrong or delayed. Months the installation was delayed - partly because it took weeks to get our plot drawings, then he tried to add a third neighbors fence into the mix when they were just at the start of their process and we were nearing end of our paperwork and we already paid our deposits. Being told originally we'd have 2 crews working simultaneously to ensure that by time the teams left for the day, we'd be able to let our dogs outside, instead we have a completely unfenced yard with a few posts in it. It's frustrating that everything since we chose Frederick Fence has been constantly underdelivered.

We didn't chose Frederick Fence because it was the cheapest, it wasn't. But because we felt we would be in the best hands based on what we were sold. Yes, Covid us a factor, but it was already was when we first met in late May/ early June. If delays were known, those times should have been put up front. If not having 2 crews were going to be done, why have us pay almost $10,000 with a good chunk being for timely labor? Don't promise what you can't deliver.

We have repeatedly shared our disappointment with the company over their miscommunication, delays and setbacks. If we had to do it again, I'm sure both our family and our neighbors would do things differently

Terrible customer service. Left numerous unreturned messages for Kelly. Took three months to order 8ft of fencing, 2 gates and two posts. My business was clearly not important to them. If you expect a returned phone call and follow through, use someone else.

They don't repair their own fences. I had a split rail fence installed by Fredrick Fence several years ago. I give them 2 stars because 70% of the fence is still ok, but a section has started to fall with the posts becoming loose. I was surprise to learn when I called that they don't have time to fix their own fences. "Too busy with bigger jobs." That was their answer. So beware.

One of the absolute worst experiences I have EVER had with a company. I wanted an estimate on a vinyl gate. Came to the house and got information and I showed the estimator what I wanted. He said estimate would be sent to me via email in 2 days or less. After a week, no estimate. Called and spoke with the COST estimator Brady. He knew absolutely NOTHING about what I gave estimator.

He started to talk to me about wood when I told EVERBODY I wanted vinyl. He told me that if I wanted vinyl there was a moratorium on vinyl and he could not give a date when the vinyl gate would be finished. He said that the gate itself would be $4, 000.00 or more WITHOUT installation. This company is founded/ owned by Charlie Powers and is the WORST company I have delt with in the last 30 years.

Their cost estimator Brady cannot even get the specs right for an estimate. But it's really not his fault. It is the owner's fault. If he can't hire competent employees then he should sell the business and disperse the money from the sale to his family instead of formulating a strategy for his family to take over the business. Charlie Powers, owner of Fredrick Fence Company is setting his family up for failure. Charlie Powers time has come and gone. He is an incompetent owner that needs to leave the business world. He lack of leadership makes you understand why people do business in other countries. SO sad but true.

Our contractor ordered fence materials from Frederick Fence. The materials were delivered to our home and literally dumped on our driveway. No forklift was used. The truck bed was elevated and materials dumped. I will not use this company again. Pictures attached.

The representative that came to my home was very thorough, polite, helpful and professional. I was told that I would receive an estimate within a day or two. After four days I still did not hear back so I called the office. They seamed very helpful and told me they would contact the representative and have him call me back. As of right now it has been almost two weeks and I still haven't heard back.

I really wanted to use this company and I'm very disappointed. I can't speak for the quality of work I can only say that they are polite. I just cannot believe a good company would just not call back a potential customer.

Very unhappy, I called to get a quote, man came talked to me. I showed him what I want we talked a minute and he looked around. He told me he would email me the within 48 hours. I waited one week no quote came, so I call the company and talk to the guy he made sure he had the right email said he would email within 15 minutes and call to make sure it came thru. Well I got NO EMAIL and NO PHONE CALL. I would not use them if they gave me the fence.

Ultimately we were happy with the finished fence, but the process of scheduling and permitting took much longer than we expected and was different than the timelines our sales guy mentioned. The quote process was quick and efficient, however once we put our deposit down, that's where things started to break down, with the scheduler being vague and then surfacing an issue with our permitting that would additionally delay the build. We had several questions regarding the delay and didn't get phone calls returned. Ultimately our fence took 2-3 weeks longer than initially stated.

This review is past due as my experience with this company was about two years ago, although still accurate from our dealings with them. My knowledge of having a fence built was limited and I had hoped the company would do a good job of explaining it to me and it would be pretty straightforward living in a townhouse where most of the fences and styles are the same throughout the community. Started out okay, but our salesman ended up being "let go" during the time we started the process and before the fence was actually built.

This ended up creating a lot of issues on our end, so maybe if you have the same people throughout it would be a bit smoother. Anyway, the workers to do the installation show up and seem to have had very little, if any, communication, with the people who sold the fence. The first issue is that the boards were not cut to the right size. Next, the style used was not what we wanted.

In addition, we had told them to build the one part of it alongside our neighbors fence, but they ended up knocking down the entire old fence, so this was a bit awkward having to explain to our neighbor as well. After speaking to their office about the issue, they were pretty defensive rather than helpful in fixing the issue. Eventually we did get it corrected, even though we were charged a portion of the costs for new wood to be used.

I still do not feel this was fair, although that was the compromise we reached as they initially wanted us to pay the entire price for the replacement boards. I did not find their office staff helpful or friendly as a whole and would look to buy any future fence or related need from another company. In the end, we got the fence we wanted, but it was pretty painful with much more effort and stress than it should have been to get to that point. The additional cost was also a pretty big negative as well. I would look elsewhere for your fence needs, if at all possible.

Price was good; salesman made promises that installers wouldn't keep. Scheduler terrible about communication. Salesman said 4 weeks. Contract said 4-6 weeks. Fool me once. If I had not REPEATEDLY forced the issue, it would not have been installed in 6 weeks. As it was, it was installed at 5 weeks, 6 days. Fence is good, but service is horrible. The scheduler should either be fired or put in jail. The 2 star rating is a gift because installers were nice and fence is good. Scheduler would get negative stars.

Love my fence. Abel came out twice to survey my property and make sure my needs were met and helped me the whole time with HOA approval, permits, and getting the design squared away. Installation was a breeze with minimal impact to my yard/lawn. All around positive experience.

We're very happy with the job they did. Their salesman was helpful in explaining the options, happy to answer questions, and willing to make a fence which works on our sloped plot. They came in significantly (20-30%) lower on cost than two other companies. They efficiently installed the fence and it looks really nice!

Had what I felt was a really good sales process and installation with Frederick Fence Co. Their fence was reasonably priced and the sales guy seemed knowledgeable regarding fences and the possible pros/cons of the boards we were getting. That's about where the good experience stopped. I (foolishly) failed to educate myself regarding the merits of a pressure treated pine fence and within 3 months of installation our boards started bowing.

I contacted Frederick Fence only for them to tell me that the boards bowing are not covered under warranty. It was on the contract I signed but I missed it during the review. Again, my fault. Where Frederick Fence failed was the inability of their sales guy, Paul, to properly educate me on the benefits and potential negatives of the fence I was getting.

Apparently if I'd opted for a more expensive wood, the bowing wouldn't have occurred. Had I know that, I would have opted for the more expensive fence as I'm very particular regarding the looks of my home. The offered to give me a board for the fence so I could repair the unit that was bowing, which I guess was nice of them, but I'm left feeling disappointed over the fact that my boards could potentially bow and my money was not well spent, especially considering the fence was installed 3 months ago. In the words of everyone's father: "I'm not mad, I'm just disappointed."

I had a really good experience with this company. The sales guy who helped us out, Neil, was very knowledgeable and easy to reach (e-mail, text, call). We ran into issues at the start with Frederick City and the zoning permits. Frederick Fence Co (FFC) took care of everything in a timely manner and consistently provided me with updates. At the end, there was another issue at the final inspection with the "beauty" side of the fence facing inward on a portion of the fence, instead of facing outward.

I was gearing up for FFC to charge me for this work. I was very happily surprised when Neil said they were going to take care of the work at no additional cost to me. They weren't the lowest price when I got the estimates, but I am very happy with the craftsmanship & communication. I would recommend this company.

Beware of empty promises! Job still not completed, started in March of 2015! We paid $6,800.00 for new security fence. 80 feet of industrial grade fence, just for the back yard. So that our kids and animals would be safe! What a disaster! A roaming Pitbull came under the fence and attacked our dog! Causing near fatal injuries and thousands of dollars in veterinarian bills.

Thank god the children, under age 4, were not also in yard at the time! They would not have been able to jump the fence and escape as our dog was able to do. Frederick fence refuses to correct the security fence that is not secure! Repeated calls - ignored! Ghastly disaster! worst service ever!

Do yourself a favor and find another local company to help you with your fencing needs. We had a fence installed in our backyard this past winter. Frederick Fence Co. came out quickly to give an estimate, but customer service drops off from there. Their follow-up sucks for lack of better term. Our install was delayed by their procrastination, and ultimately impacted by the big snow storm which should've been installed way prior.

They had Ms. Utility come out 7 times to mark our property while they kept delaying install! Finally on install day, they came with all the materials and said they couldn't install because we needed to call a private utility locator for the propane tank in the backyard which delayed further. Finally got installed a few days later! Fast forward to this SPRING, got a quote in April and was quoted to have a job complete by them 3rd week of June.

No follow-up once again, finally the Friday (after hours) before the 4th of July got an email saying they were delayed. Called them first thing on the 5th of July and they said "oh we'll squeeze you in sometime soon, it's a small side job". After the initial quote if YOU do not follow-up with them, they WILL NOT follow up with you. They are running a circus over there. Their customer service manager lacks attention to detail, and there really is zero care in the service they provide.
