Do not recommend for individual, private homeowners. Maybe they do better for contractors or large scale jobs, but we were looking to source bricks from a local business for our private backyard project and the gentleman we worked with was not friendly and seemed not to want our business, and worse he couldn't calculate basic square footage. Our back patio only needed about 100 sq ft of brick, so maybe 400 bricks, and after telling us he doesn't like to give estimates, he told us that with the dimensions we gave him, it was over 1,100 sq ft and we would need over 5,000 bricks.
He was either trying to screw us or was just incompetent at reading basic measurements. But he also gave us a hard time about 1) Not calling in first (because we went in to actually see the bricks and to speak with someone in person about it, which seems like a normal practice in my opinion) 2) About sending him pictures of our existing brick on a weekend (which he could have just replied with a "Thank you, I will take a look on Monday" and that would've sufficed, but he instead took the time to quickly reply "I don't work on weekends." and that's it), and 3) For questioning his calculations (to which he said "This is why I don't like to give out estimates."). Just not friendly or professional and we took our business elsewhere (to Home Depot unfortunately) like he probably wanted us to.

If you're looking for a place that can't fulfill a simple order, you've come to the right place! Not even after 19 emails, several visits, a set of measurements, a brick sample to use as a guide, and a call to the company president were the replacement brick pieces I ordered cut to the correct size. The company president is willing to be helpful, but the front of house people need to adopt the same attitude and learn how to measure as well.

I made a visit to the Gaithersburg Md stone yard. This is a larger location and the stone is actually on the premises for you to see. They have a super large indoor display as well. Eric helped me and was extremely courteous and helpful! If your in the market for stone, stone veneer or brick this is the place to go! Highly recommend Gaithersburg location!
